Delicious bunless burger with waffle fries that were done but vapid.

Christos has a menu item for just about anybody, from toddlers to octogenarians. The north side of the seating area can get loud. Christo installed carpet to help with sound absorption but I think it's still on the loud side. Oh well I don't really like people so maybe I'm the problem. My recent visit was with a group (8-top) and the table service was slow compared to two and four tops around us. The server was nice but overworked. The food was good with large-ish portions. We saw a plate of pancakes topped with strawberries and whipped cream that looked delish.

Awesome awesome! Clean and welcoming. Nice decor, not too bright. Or host and server were nice. The server was great. Super helpful and understanding. The food was to die for. I had the buffalo chicken mac and cheese. Everything was well cooked. Tasted homemade. Will absolutely be returning!

Enjoyed my experience here at breakfast, best part is they have breakfast all day!! We ordered veggie omlettes and pecan waffle toast, I asked for a scoop of icecream on the side to have with my warm waffle which was delicious! The coffee was great! Our server was a nice, friendly and super fast! The ambiance was great, especially at breakfast I'm not looking for bright big windows but instead dim lights with shades on big windows is my thing which I got there!

Plastic piece in Christos (WLafayette) salad 2/25/26.

Long-time patrons; but we're done. Service is circling the drain with the newer/younger wait staff; but found a piece of plastic in the salad leftovers from last night's dinner. (We don't eat with plastic utensils, so it came from the kitchen during prep). The young female wait staff seemed distracted with loud banter/laughing in the kitchen area, so not too surprised with the lackingness of Christos; but--we're done.

I got the broken taco. It was delicious. The waitress was very nice. She took very good care of us. I recommend this place. It's nice and clean too in there.

Came in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Dining room was modern and clean. Ate one of the best burgers I've had in West Lafayette in months. The server I had was very kind and accommodating. Great place to get lunch. Good food, good service, good prices. Not much more you could ask for!

Went for late lunch on a Thursday after grocery shopping at nearby PayLess for my Purdue student who moved in yesterday evening. The dining room was busy but wasn't full. We were seated promptly, but our server took a while to come to our table to take our drink order. We already knew our food order so we gave her that after asking for waters, no ice, as it was snowing outside and we were cold! I ordered the Gyro (in Sandwich menu) with fruit cup as the side. I eat a lot of Middle Eastern gyros and wasn't expecting to be wowed here -- I had not seen that the founders of Christos were Greek. I was happy the gyro meat tasted good; pita break was nothing to rave about. My Purdue student ordered the Baked Penne, added grilled chicken at extra cost, with salad as the side -- she also got a roll with it. Penne portion was huge so she took half home to her dorm. Salad and roll were unimpressive except for the croutons which she said were surprisingly good. My Purdue student wants to go back to try breakfast, but doesn't have a car so not sure if she'll ever get there.

Great service, large portions and good food!! Enjoyed breakfast so much that we went back for dinner.

It was a great place to have a nice solo steak dinner in West Lafayette. I don't eat steak often, but when I do, I want it to be amazing. And my steak was amazing! I got the 8-ounce Linz Heritage filet, Sam Allen style, which meant that it also came with grilled shrimp and a chimichurri. Yum yum yum to all three things. I usually order my steak medium-well, but the server suggested medium, so I went with it. Good choice! My server was very wise, even though he looked like he was still in college. Along with the steak, I got a side of grilled mushrooms, which came in a brown sauce with chives sprinkled on top. But first: I started with an heirloom tomato salad, which was served with stracciatella cheese, basil and these cool balls that looked like roe, but were actually balls of balsamic vinegar. Fancy! It was fresh and light, and the perfect appetizer to get during a summer in Indiana, when them tomatoes be poppin'. I don't know why I'm reviewing my meal backward, but just go with me, people. Before everything, you get complimentary rolls and butter. Oh man! I could have made a meal just from the bread and butter, both of which were tender and soft, and so salty and flavorful. At the very beginning of my meal, I started with an Old Fashioned, because I read that Boilerhouse Prime is known for their Old Fashioneds. This one was well balanced, and came with a nice bourbon cherry. I also got a glass of Malbec along the way with my meal, which went well with my steak. This seems like an adults-only restaurant, but I was sitting close to a big table that had a family with kids, so well-behaved kids are definitely allowed, even though I did not see a kids menu.

Last time I got the lobster bisque and it may have been the best I've ever had. I ordered it again and it was terrible. Just terrible. Tasted kind of bitter and was much too dark for a lobster bisque. The side dishes are enormous and they were all ok. The charred broccoli is an entire stalk thrown on a grill. Char on outside, raw on inside. Lovely. My American Wagyu bone-in strip was good, though it tasted no different than prime meat and did cost $95. I would have hoped for better than just 'good'. Family enjoyed most items. I sampled the wedge and really liked that. Probably best part of the meal. Oysters were excellent. Drinks are always good here. They have upgraded their rum list and have some high quality ones now. That's great! Service is always top notch. I will definitely be back for happy hours. The food at this restaurant is good. But when 2 adults and 3 kids drop $800 on a meal, it really ought to be fantastic, not just good.

As a wee child and teenager, it was the location of choice to celebrate birthdays and holidays. As a college-aged adult in training, it was the place to meet up with friends, share some drinks, and watch Jerry dance on top of the bar. Even now, as a married man in his thirties, living a ten-hour drive away, I make it a goal to enjoy Nine Irish Brothers once per year at the very least. When my childhood best friend of eighteen straight years passed away, this location marked the final stop in the bar crawl that was held in his honor. When another friend had bravely "come out" only to be to rejected by some of his religious friends, Nine Irish was the place where my wife and I were able to sit down with him over some Guinness and goat cheese fritters and show him how much we love him. The food and drinks are fantastic, and the memories are forever. Whether you've lived in Lafayette/West Lafayette all your life, you're new to the area, or you're just passing through, I cannot recommend this pub enough--no matter your age.
