One of the bolts missing. This is the bottom of the catalytic converter attached to the exhaust. Those boys were really bad too!

Came 30 mins before closing. I knew I had an exhaust leak, but didn't know where. Adan checked out my car right away, found the issue, and fixed it on the spot for a fair price. Before this, I took it to 3 different people and each said the leak was in front of the engine and would have to remove a few things to find the leak. They also said it would be my catalytic converters, but didn't give me a good idea of what the problem was or what it would cost. On the other hand, Adan checked for the leak under my hood, then lifted my car up, took a sort of stethoscope and started for the leak underneath my car. He found it in 2 places right away, showed me where the leaks were and gave me reasonable options to fix the issue. He gave me a fair price and repaired the exhaust leaks within 45 mins. I turned on my car and noticed the difference right away. No loud exhaust leak sound coming from my car! Favorite part: he showed me exactly where the holes were in my exhaust pipe and showed me a missing bolt and rusted bolts with the wrong nuts. He replaced all three of those bolts and nuts and sealed everything up for me. Nice guy, good customer service, and personable. If I have any more issues with my car, I want him to work on them!

Reasonable and good craftsmanship, waited for 30mins and it's a one man band show. He's very quick. Will recommend people to go there for their muffler needs.

About a year and a half ago, they recommended replacing part of my front suspension (I believe the struts). When I picked up my truck, it had a loud clunking noise over every bump. I took it back, and the owner rode with me, heard the noise, and had it corrected. After that, the clunking was gone. A short time later, I started hearing a metallic clanking from the left rear of the truck. When I looked underneath, I found a hammer lodged near the rear axle housing that had been left behind during the repair. I removed it and returned it to the shop. The employee simply thanked me--no apology or acknowledgment that leaving a tool on a customer's vehicle was unacceptable. Then, about two weeks ago, I brought my truck in for a routine oil change and tire rotation. About a week later, I noticed one of my rear wheel center caps was missing. Since the center cap is retained by the lug nuts, it doesn't simply fall off, I am sure they forgot to put it on when they rotated my tires. I called the shop, but they said they weren't aware of forgetting to put on my Toyota center cap, nor do they have one sitting around that may be mine. As a result, I'm shopping on eBay to replace it. Not good..!! I don't know what has changed, but the attention to detail at Alonso's isn't what it used to be. Unfortunately, they've lost my business. I can't recommend them anymore. If you do choose to use them, inspect your vehicle carefully before you leave. I should have done the same instead of driving off after a service and assuming I received the same quality service I'd experienced for so many years.

Eddie, the son's owner was willing to stay after hours to wait for my car to be dropped in their garage. AAA took over 2.5hrs to get to the garage, I dropped the key in the slot. He came to the garage early in the following morning to inspect my car. He ordered the part and charged me under $1500, which was just amazing! I wasn't from Upland, had to pay for a hotel, pay for my food and my lfyt rides to get an around. So they helped me out so much (I'm tearing up just writing this) Upon speaking to his Dad, I found out Eddie works on his whole families vehicles.. from Benz to Beemers. That his Dad is proud of what he has built and even more proud of the type of mechanic (little) Eddie is. That they believe in customer service versus charging customers ridiculous prices. I live in San Diego California. I have no issues of having my vehicle towed to Enzo's garage to have any future work done on my vehicle. I am a customer for life and I'm telling the world!
