For takeout on 12/19/22 I've been meaning to write a review, but have been caught up in holiday activities. I was meeting up with a friend in Cerritos and wanted to pick up a few drinks so I did a Yelp search and R & B came up as women owned and operated. Under information, it also had that staff were fully vaccinated. I decided to go here to give my support. The lady waiting to take my order was very patient. It was my first time there. The screen with the popular drinks at this location scrolled by too fast. Thus, I took a photo to peruse the drinks longer. She did recommend the popular Thai tea which I did get. I also got the strawberry matcha latte, Hawaiian fruit green tea, classic milk tea, strawberry stormy, and the mangonada. The Hawaiian fruit green tea is huge. I would estimate 32 oz. The strawberry stormy is like a slushy smoothie. The place was decorated very nicely for the holidays. Gnomes must be a big thing this year. read more

My local boba has my heart and I am not only saying this because it's close to me. One thing about me is that i will drive far to get really good boba, but since this one is near me.. I am SUPER happy. Their boba tastes AMAZING. It's sweet but not too sweet. The chewiness to it is perfect to where it's not too chewy. I used to order there Lychee Green tea with lychee bits (which tastes SO good. i recommend 50% sweetness if you don't like it too sweet. I think it gets really sweet if you ask for the lychee jello bits), but now i'm really into their Green Thai Milk Tea (green tea + thai tea). I also tried their snack options and they were okay! I'm only ordering for the boba. The workers were very welcoming and made sure my orders are correct! The area is spacious when you walk in, but i don't recommend bringing 10+ people. Happened to pass by this branch as were trying to dodge the LA rush hour going home to OC. I had r&b before but on a different branch and so I was weary to try it out. Saw they had puffle waffle and baos on the menu so at that time we considered just to have little filling. Glad we did because their milkteas was so flavorful as compared to what we had here in OC area. So flavorful that we ordered for to-go with no ice. The beef bao was fluffy and yummy that we purchased extras for our next-day-work snack. The puffle waffle was soft and with just the right amount of crisp to it. Hope they would maintain their milktea flavor/recipe and as well as the baos on their menu. Definitely will be back even if we dont live nearby. Clean shop and restroom. Pretty good boba. I love the cups they come in. The ambiance is small, modern, and hip. The workers are nice and friendly. I especially like their wintermelon boba tea, regular sweetness. I am pleased to announce that I find the perfect waffle in the area that's not with the area code 626. I ordered it on doordash it's ready like 10 minutes before the schedule pickup time. So I walk in and show the girl the receipt on my phone and she brought these out. I ordered two waffles and two buns, the pencil for my parents and I'm reviewing the waffle only. Oh my God, these waffle were freshly made they were hot and crispy. It comes in a very sturdy paper box and I love the packaging is eco-friendly. Once I open the box I can already smell the lovely waffle. I can smell the egg I can taste the egg, the smell and taste of The Good quality egg, not eggy egg that smells like fart. It is soft and moist inside and crispy outside, same price $6 a piece, it tastes exactly like what I have in Hong Kong. Unfortunately on doordash they only have the original, Oreo and the cheese flavor and I ordered two original waffle. It would be great if they have the matcha and coffee flavor. I'll definitely come back for more. Edit: this is the review for the leftover, since I bought two dozen I had one yesterday and I reheat the other one for breakfast this morning. It did not taste as good after I reheat it in the air fryer. It tastes too chewy and the crispy edge become too hard. I stand by my original review that it tastes the best when I ate it right away. It's across the street from Home Depot but if you can find it, you'll love it. I recommend it highly. Was craving some boba after having sushi and couldn't find a tea place for the life of me but right before I got on the freeway I found this spot and decided to try it. The staff was really nice and recommended some great drinks. I ended up getting the strawberry milk tea with Boba and a dragon fruit mango green tea with lychee jelly. The strawberry milk, Boba was so good. The dragon fruit tea was a little on the sweet side for me. I will definitely be coming back. I live in San Diego where the R&B caught on fire during Covid, so anytime I find an R&B near me when I'm out of town, I make sure to make a stop! My two favorite drinks are the cereal milk tea (called candy milk tea at this location) and the strawberry stormy. If you haven't tried the cereal milk tea, I highly recommend because you probably won't see it at other boba shops. The cereal is kind of like Rice Krispies but way more flavorful?? This location/branch just opened recently so they are offering an BOGO (buy one get one free) deal right now. I visited this place today to see the grand opening + to try out the milk teas, and boba. I have seen R&B Tea at other locations, but never got to try it. I took my chance today, since it was a bit warmer than usual weather, which calls for a cold, iced drinks. The cups they use here are rather better materials than any other tea or boba places would offer. The quality of their drinks were fabulous and the taste was 5 out of 5 stars! It was pretty busy today, but all the staffs we encountered were friendly, and answered any questions we had. I forgot to take pictures of my two drink orders, but managed to take pictures of their menu! There is also a QR code that you can use to see their menus of goodies! I have ordered Iced Jasmine Milk Tea, since jasmine is my favorite flavor of tea, and it was so fragrant and delicious. My brother ordered the Icded Strawberry Matcha Latte and told me it was delicious as well. We will be back again surely! read more

We were visiting a friend nearby and decided to get boba before heading back to Orange County and R&B was the closest place and it did not disappoint! I got the taro milk tea with boba and my kid got the strawberry stormy. Both were equally yummy. The boba was soft and chewy and the tarp tea not too sweet. The strawberry stormy is like a cross between a slushy and a creamy smoothie. They did have banh bao that I will be trying the next time I go. The staff was super friendly and the place itself was cute and clean with plenty of seating. Will definitely be back to try the other drinks! read more

I try to stay and avoid the ones that serve artificial flavored AKA powdered etc because I can almost taste the difference between artificial and natural ones. this place in Norwalk is by far my go to at the moment. I enjoy few of their top 10 drinks but I usually frequent their fresh and fruit tea which you can never go wrong if your health conscious like me. I've tried 5 different drink and so far I like their roasted oolong, kumquat lemon iced and jasmine green tea. I'll try all of them until I get the best one but so far I love their menu and it does taste fresh specially the cheese foam. read more

Just tried this place out for the first time. Drinks: 1) brown sugar boba milk - really good but super sweet. The boba was too sweet for my liking so I would get this again but without the boba. 2) taro stormy - my favorite out of the two, but again boba was too sweet Service: This is the reason why I dropped down the stars. I went to the place and there was no one in the store but the staff was not friendly and my friends and I felt rush with our order. Wasn't welcoming for a new place, i thought they would be more engaging and welcoming to guests... but NOPE. I was so happy that I found an R&B location near to my house but was so disappointed by the lack quality of the boba. I ordered the brown sugar boba milk. The brown sugar milk tasted good but not the boba. They didn't cook the boba properly. I couldn't drink it with straw because the bobas stick together like a big chunk. And it made me more disappointed is that the employee still sold me the drink although the boba was like that. Other than that, The Hawaiian fruit tea was yummy and the staffs were friendly. I went again for the last day of their BOGO deal so I can try more drinks. Today I chose new drinks to try which were the Taro Stormy, Mango Yakult, Dragon Fruit Mango Green Tea, and Passionfruit Milk Tea. Taro Stormy and Mango Yakult were my favorites for today. I love trying any drinks with Taro flavor and wow this one did not disappoint. The consistency is a mix between a milkshake and smoothie. It tastes rich and creamy which I really enjoyed. I'm determined to try all of the flavors of the Yakult series because I love those mini yogurt drinks. This time I got the Mango Yakult and I got a nice surprise of rainbow jelly at the bottom. I loved the texture and mixed with the flavors of the drink, it was so good. The Dragon Fruit Mango Green Tea was so good and refreshing. The Passionfruit Milk Tea was my least favorite of the day. I don't like that tea as a milk tea, had a disappointing flavor. I had the Passion Fruit Tea last night and I would recommend that one more than the milk tea one.
