Came for their 2 year anniversary over the weekend. They were offering BOGO on about 5 of their most popular drinks. I was able to get their Hawaiian green tea and the strawberry tea w/aloe vera. You order one and they gave you the same drink for free. I was able to order on the kiosk with minimal help from the staff member. Drinks came out quickly. For the Hawaiian tea, I was even able to add boba to it and both drinks came out with boba. You can customize the ice and sugar levels on most drinks. The Hawaiian tea also came in the large cup. I don't even think it fill in my cupholder. I really liked it - it was fruity and tasty and some real fruit pieces in it. The strawberry tea was very fruit forward as well. Came here for their BOGO free for their 1 year anniversary and it did not disappoint. The green Thai tea is excellent and not too sweet even at full sweetness; it's got that distinct tea aftertaste which kind of balances it. The boba here is fresh being soft, chewy, and sweet. The other fruit teas like the Mango Tea and Peach Yakut are nice and refreshing. At least sweet, the Mango snowy is still pretty sweet. Inside is fairly small but decent sized, about 15 seats. Decor is bright and neat. Ordering is easy with the kiosks. Staff is friendly. Plenty of parking in the plaza. Never heard of this place before, but their Facebook ad celebrating their 1 year anniversary this weekend (Feb 22-23) with a BOGO on all drinks was effective and grabbed my attention! Congrats on the 1 year, R&B Tea! Brought my son here to take advantage of the BOGO promo. The line was pretty long but moved pretty efficiently. There was a kiosk that was easy to use with good photos, and it automatically took the discount BOGO off without needing any promo code. Yay for technology! My son said "Wow, you don't even have to talk to a human!" and so added bonus, this place would be great for introverts! Placed our order for a strawberry milk tea and a brown sugar milk tea. Note that we were going to add boba to the brown sugar milk tea but the fine print showed that boba is already included in the price - lucky we saw that! The ordering kiosk gives you the option of selecting sweetness level (extra, regular, less, or none) and ice amount (same options). You pay right at the kiosk with a credit card - don't forget to tip! You can also order online but we didn't try that option. Once our drinks were ready, they called out both our order number and my first name (which we entered on the ordering kiosk). My strawberry milk tea with less sugar was perfect for me - gotta watch that A1C! My son's brown sugar milk tea with regular sugar was perfect for him - ahhh, to be young again! I came here over the weekend with some friends. While the shop is small, there's enough space for the automatic counters to order boba and some seating. I ordered their Horchata Milk Tea with boba at half sweetness and less ice. The staff was friendly, and although we ordered a few drinks, our drinks came out in a promptly manner. Their boba served tastes more sweeter than most places I am used to, which is something to take note for next time! Because the Horchata Milk Tea was already sweet, adding the boba to it made it more sweet than I wouldve have liked, but I will fault myself for that. This is a great milk tea spot! I know there's lots around and most of the time, they all taste the same while serving the same drinks BUT this one, is great! They have mixes and blends that I've never heard of yet such as a Hawaiian slush, Honeydew Slush, Blended Thai Tea, and even Yakult mixed drinks! This is a huge plus. I tried their Taro milk tea with boba and the drink itself was great tasting. It was creamy with textures of slush. The taro tasted natural and I loved the balance of sweetness. Visited on Saturday of their Grand Opening weekend and didn't have to wait too long to order using their kiosk. It's a decently sized store, well-lit, clean with a Mario theme. Drinks took about 10-15 minutes to be prepared, which is pretty fast for a grand opening and new establishment. TARO STORMY: Less sweet was perfect. The description says it's made with fresh taro, but it's very purple so I think they should update their description to add a blend of fresh taro and whatever else they are using. At first sip, it was very taro forward (which I loved), but there was an after taste of something I can't quite put my finger on. It was like an interesting vanilla similar that kind of tickled my throat a bit so I wouldn't get any of the Stormy drinks again if they are all made with that particular ingredient. JASMINE MILK TEA: Great Jasmine flavor and less sweet with zero ice was very good. The milk tea had the right amount of tea and creaminess, but didn't leave that weird film I sometimes get when I order milk tea at other shops. Overall their prices are decent and their milk tea is good so I'd like to come back and try some of their other milk tea items. I'd probably avoid getting another stormy drink unless they offered a new flavor that I'm really interested in like .. durian! I don't typically go to R&B Tea for my boba, but when the holiday season comes around, it's been my go-to. They have the cutest snowman bottles with actually good-decent quality accessories. My partner and I got 2 Snowman Jasmine Milk Tea bottles for $15 (we also ordered pick up online, not sure if that affects the pricing). The drinks are good, but on the sweeter side (100% - you can't change the sweetness nor ice level for the snowman drinks, so something to keep in mind). Our order was ready within 10 min of ordering. Didn't realize this location changed ownership! Decided to give it a try. I visited on 2/24, but sadly missed their grand opening promotion by a week. I came on a Saturday around 1pm, and surprisingly there was no line at all. If they did have a crowd during the grand opening, it's already died down now (not a bad thing). The server was very friendly, and I ordered my usual lychee yakult (less sweet, less ice). The drink came out pretty quickly. Even with less sweet, it was a bit on the sweet side. Not to the point of overwhelmingly so, just more than my usual level from other places. Overall a pleasant experience. It didn't stand out from other boba joints for me, but is a solid option. Updating our review as the owner reached out TWICE to offer not just a drink to try again but a real explanation and context to our feedback from the previous review. We really appreciated having our feedback heard and directly addressed instead of the standard approach to remake the drink. Context from the owner was that they found their machines were dispensing the incorrect amount of sugar and have since re-calibrated their machines. They offered us a free drink to retry (even after we initially politely declined) and the second drink was incredibly tasty. We got the standard Oolong milk tea + Horchata milk tea. Drinks were way too sweet and boba was mushy and literally fell apart in my mouth. We even selected the less sweet option, so I can't imagine how sweet they typically are. Looks like they use a lot of pumps for their milk teas, as the flavoring tasted very artificial. The crème brûlée coffee was sweater than a Vietnamese coffee. We didn't get to try the fruit teas so can't comment on those but as far as milk tea and boba goes, this place just can't compete with all of the boba places that already exist in the Bay Area. I've been really impressed with this new place! My husband and I used to come here often when it was sharetea, and I recently stopped by to see the new space. Very similar set up as the last iteration, but the wall decor was nice and they have a decent amount of seating. The service has been solid every time I've come in so far. Always greeting everyone who comes in, asking if they have any questions. I've actually really liked the selection of drinks. They have different fruit with more unique combinations, and I've seen other places. They also have some snacks that I haven't tried yet, but would be interested in at some point . There was no one inside when we went (around 8 PM on Friday). Dragon Mango Green Tea with boba was a 9.5/10! Very refreshing and not overly sweet. Boba was soft, but needed more honey. Lychee Tea with Aloe Vera was so yum, also 9.5/10! I didn't order additional toppings, but I would like to try this drink with boba. The drink itself is sweet and refreshing, I loved it!
