    Oolong milk tea
    Noelle P.

Easy in and out service today. I asked the worker what her recommendation was and she suggested the oolong milk tea. My only criticism is that I wish it had some extra pearls. Loved the little sign inside so had to grab a cute snap!

Can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet. Literally one of my go to spots. Quick service, not overly friendly. Love the fruit teas, even 0% sweetness is pretty sweet so I add water at home. Cute inside with tables and a restroom. If you don't feel like talking to a human you can order on a kiosk. Rainbow jellies are the best, and fun!

Easy to find at Marketplace. Quick service. Cafe ambiance. Less than five minutes from order to pick up.

Quick service and easy ordering system. The milk teas have fun flavors and I enjoyed their biscoff milk tea most recently. The place itself is usually quiet and has some seating inside.

Pumpkin Spice Milk Tea with Pearls & Milk Foam

Love coming to this places, quick service you're in and out without any hassle. I also like it because of their seasonal drinks like their pumpkin pearl milk tea with milk foam. If you're a pumpkin lover this is the drink for you! The inside is small, but as I mentioned before service is quick.

I went out for dinner at a nearby place. When pulling into the parking lot I was pleasantly surprised to see a Gong Cha was there too. Gong Cha was my favorite place to get boba when there was a location in Newark. It didn't last long tho. After dinner, we went here for boba. We got the brown sugar milk tea with pearl and crème brûlée topping and Marble Mango with strawberry white pearl and strawberry syrup. Both were fantastic!!!

Great service at this location! Patient, helpful employees. You can either order at the register, on a kiosk, or online. I had a gift card but apparently this location hasn't received the card reader. They tried to manually input the card number and when that didn't work, they said I could try scanning it on the kiosk. No luck. I tried downloading the app but did you know there are over three different Gong Cha Apps?? Have to download the California one specifically. It didn't accept gift card payment but I found enough points for a free drink. So it was basically BOGO since I treated a friend to boba. As soon as my order went through to the kitchen with a "ding", the employee presented us with our drinks already made! He had anticipated that we'd order no matter what. Gingerbread bottles + special milk teas are only $7! If the drink doesn't already come with boba, it's 70 cents extra. *Gingergread Boba Milk Tea + Milk Foam (substituted grass jelly instead, less sweet available) *Taro Milk Tea (no caffeine) + Milk Foam, added boba Creamy sweet and they don't add ice to these drinks. The bottles are so cute and have a little bitty scarf. The milk foam is like crema, a little sweet n savory from sea salt. Gingerbread wasn't too pronounced but it did have a few holiday spices. I do like having ice in my drinks but the whole novelty of these holiday beverages surpassed that need, plus it was cold out. Stop by before they run out!

Wintermelon with fresh milk. Too much milk, color is off.
    Ang V.

I've tried a few of their drinks but my go-to is their wintermelon with fresh milk. I've consumed a good amount to know what it's supposed to taste like. I always get 50% ice and 100% sweet (which is usually fixed). But this location has a different ratio. I could already tell just by the color that they added way more milk than they're supposed to. No tea flavor, just straight up milk. Which is disappointing. And for about $6 for a large size, I was hoping it would taste better. The place is small. Has like 2 tables and a bench. You can order via kiosk (they have two) or sometimes they'll take your order. There's parking in the front but if you go during lunch hour this plaza is packed from all the employees from nearby companies so it's best to park at the parking lot behind. Overall, other locations know how to make my favorite drink. This just didn't satisfy. Pretty disappointed.

    Peach oolong tea

Eeeeyuuuckk. The boba is incredibly cheap tasting. The tea itself is decent. Please fix your boba or buy new ones. These are the cheap ones. Ugh.

Came in tonight as my daughter really wanted to get boba to have while we went grocery shopping. So happy we decided to go to this location! Minh was very nice and friendly and seemed happy to answer any questions we had as I don't like my drinks too sweet.

Their drinks are on the very sweet side. At 30% sweetness their qq tea was super sweet. The boba was hard... Everyone else said their drinks were super sweet too.

I highly recommend…read moreit for people who don't want to deal with the line that understandably goes out the door. The food is worth the wait. Don't sleep on the black pepper sausage danish: the croissant dough is crisp and flaky, and doesn't get soggy when baked around the sausage. It's comparable in execution to the Croissant Hot Dog served at Dominique Ansel Las Vegas (in Caesar's Palace), but at a way more accessible price point. Which isn't to say this place is cheap; like many artisanal bakeries in California, it comes with a premium price tag, but at least it's not Dominique Ansel pricy. Croissante's croissant dough baked goods (viennoiserie) is pun-intended "proof" that you get what you pay for. The dining space is limited and lively. Conversing is a little tough, but if you just need a place to sit while eating, it's just right. Extra special shout out this time to Dill who had informed me the fried chicken dishes today would be an hour and a half wait. After deciding there wasn't anything I wanted more than the Fried Chicken and Spiced Croffle (croissant dough baked in a waffle iron) and was happy to wait, they were nice enough to check in with the kitchen and see if it could be made sooner than that. I didn't expect to be accommodated, so I was happy they were able to do that. You get two chicken thighs and croffles per order. It's enough for two light eaters to share.

Since then they have settled down and got things together. This should have been a five-star review, but . . . I am impressed by their unique pastry offerings. Today we ordered a Matcha Chocolat, a Pastrami Suisse (sorry, no photo - my wife devoured it before I could get a picture of it ...), a Burrata Avocado Toast, French Onion Soup (again, no photo), and an Americano. First of all, the coffee was superb! Great espresso flavor and aroma, but not astringently bitter. It really complimented the Matcha Chocolat's sweetness, even though, in my opinion, matcha tea and chocolate really do not go well together - this combination worked! The French Onion Soup was fabulous! Great aroma, and the sweet onion flavor was so delightful. This alone would be satisfying. And it is one of these rare instances where one would not want to have anything else that would ruin the state of bliss. That being stated, it did pair with the Pastrami Suisse, and together they complimented each other so well. What did not work well was the Burrata Avocado Toast. I have to say that this did not impress me at all, except for presentation (it looked nice!). The toast was soggy and the crust ultra hard. There was more mozzarella cheese than avocado (could not even taste the avocado . . .). What shined, however, was not the actually avocado toast, but the accompanying salad. Tasty! Unusual, however, in that I could taste the greens, the tomatoes, and the radishes - the dressing was not overpowering as I find to often with many restaurants. I found this salad to be quite refreshing! Now, if they can work on that toast . . . I am pleased that they have found their footing here. I highly recommend their pastries and coffee. However, they will need to reevaluate and work on their avocado toast.

The matcha on its own was slightly grassy for my taste, but mixed with the guava cream was really delicious. The flavor came through really well and was perfectly sweet.
