This location of 7 Leaves Cafe is located in a quieter plaza and is a bit hidden. I never even knew there was a location here, as I have been to all their other locations before. I like how this one is quiet and it was nice to study here. I ordered my usual here, which is their Sea Cream Jasmine Tea with boba. I like the saltiness that their sea cream adds to the tea, which is pretty refreshing. A more upscale decorated interior than most I have seen. There were two lounge chairs that were very comfy, made for a great area for two to catch up. The remaining areas of the seating were configured to accommodate larger groups in standard tables and chairs. All comfy and clean. The workers were attentive and helpful. We had ordered drinks came out quickly. We sat down and enjoyed our drinks. It was almost closing time, so we took our drinks outside (no outdoor seating areas). The parking lot has several electric charging stations as well as plenty of parking around the entire building. The Order: Taro Milk Tea -Creamy and smooth. No chunks of taro. It is like drinking a slightly thinner taro ice cream. Green Thai Tea: -Made with oolong tea, this one definitely matches their description: floral flavor. Definitely worth a try. I have stopped by this location a few times now, usually when I am at Central Computers nearby. My go-to drink is usually the mung bean! I get it less sweet, which is still plenty sweet to me. I've gotten it no sweet before and that's not sweet enough, go figure. I usually order through the app which is super convenient. Drink is usually ready pretty quickly. I remember the location was announced during covid, then they had a soft opening and didn't actually fully open for at least 1-2 years. But, glad they're open now! We usually do online orders and pick up since it's quicker and more convenient for us. There were a couple times that we ordered at the register and the people who took our order was really nice. We would even ask about the seasonal drinks or new drinks that were being advertised, and the workers would give us their best description of the flavor and their honest opinions. I've been curious to try this place for maybe about 4 years now. The one in San Jose always had a long line so the hype was building for me. I finally came and I thought their house coffee was delicious. It had this salty cream which stuck out to me. The coffee wasn't too strong but it had such a nice vibrant taste. I'm a fan of it! I'd definitely come back to try another drink and maybe even a few macarons. I will say though, their service was poor and the guy ringing me up had little motivation. My colleagues and I have been waiting what-- 3-4 years for this location to open up? Then I get a random text on a Wednesday morning stating 7Leaves would open in 3 days?? Say wha?! And it wasn't advertised on their social media either which makes me think it's a franchise. Just did a web search and it is! I heard grand opening weekend on 12/7-12/8/24 was crazy. Folks really lined up 2 hours beforehand for the tote bag, tumbler, and free house coffee voucher. We all thought it would be any drink. A friend got a voucher just for downloading the app. Not sure if that's an everyday promotion though. My go to: Assam milk tea + grass jelly, easy sweet. So creamy but oh so sweet! I learned they pre-sweeten their leaves base so there's not much you can do about that. In the summer, I get extra ice so the sweetness will dilute. I knew about their secret menu and there's actually a freshly brewed drink with sugar level option! I tried the Silver Jasmine, light brew, no sweet, topped with sea cream. First time I got it was great! The second time was a miss because it might've had two servings of sea cream and was too strong of a brew. I tried the pudding with it but the other two flavors completely overpowered it. I'll order this drink on the app next time. I had the chocolate macaron and it was soft and not too sweet considering it had more of a dark chocolate cream filling, kind of like ganache. Customer service from the three employees I spoke with all on separate occasions was helpful, patient, and pretty nice overall. The space itself is warm and inviting. It had passionfruit and orange and overall, it was very refreshing and not too tea forward. Such a cute cafe! I finally decided to try their boba after passing by so many times whenever I'm in the area. It's a bit hidden, with the entrance and parking located on the other side of a busy street, but there's plenty of parking available, and they even offer EV charging. What I love about this cafe is the display of their signature tea drinks, complete with pictures and listed ingredients. It made it so much easier to decide on my drink--Strawberry Hibiscus Tea. It was sweet and refreshing, although I felt the flavor could've been a bit stronger. The boba, however, was perfectly chewy, which I appreciated. The service was great! The barista was welcoming, answered my questions about the drinks, and prepared my order quickly. While I'd rate it 3.5 stars based on the drink, the cozy decor and spacious ambiance make up for it. A new 7 Leaves location off Lawrence Exp that now makes this the closest boba chain to our place! Parking is easy with plenty of space and EV charging. Interior is very clean and spacious with coffee cafe vibes, a good spot to catch up with friends or a moderately noisy self study place. Service was fantastic, we went on a calm Friday afternoon with only a few other customers and our drinks came out super quick. I couldn't decide on a Sea Cream Jasmine or a regular Jasmine tea and wanted something not too sweet and the cashier offered me a free sample of the Sea Cream tea to help, which was very kind. Sea Cream is very very salty, which I thought was more unique to have such a strong standout taste and cut through the jasmine tea. Unfortunately this drink couldn't be customized to a specific sweetness level so we went with the regular Jasmine Milk Tea at easy sweet with boba. Excited to have this new spot! The location is slightly closer to me in Mountain View compared to their Cupertino location, and the layout is more spacious and modern looking... and it's next to a Costco, perfect for post shopping refreshment! I originally came out for Sunday's grand opening, where the first 250 in line were given a ticket for free grand opening merch. I ended up being one of the last ticket holders in line. After a 3 hour wait, I got to the front to learn they ran out of merch! While it could have been an easy thing to dismiss, the general manager got my contact information and reached out about a week later to remedy the situation. Obtaining actual merch was impossible because they only had a fixed amount, but she did provide me with the equivalent gift value amount in drink vouchers. Really appreciate the service and support by the GM in this unfortunate situation! Their drinks are just like any other 7 Leaves location, which is pretty good! This is a lovely location for picking up a drink while I'm driving along Lawrence on the way to my destination. It is so easy to order ahead, so that my drink is ready by the time I arrive, making it easy to get in and out of here. Plenty of parking in the lot outside (plus EV charging if you need to top off). The overall vibe is more relaxed than trying to get in and out of the other location at Cupertino Village. There is a good amount of seating inside if you just want to enjoy your drink there, or even if you want to get a little work or study done.
