You get to speak directly with the person who's coming to fix your AC. You already know this is not some giant organization that's modeled on constantly trying to upsell you on something. Phap arrived promptly the same day and was able to diagnose my issue( indoor AC blower fan was constantly running, would never turn off). He was able to resolve the issue quickly (fan relay switch was stuck) and then, (gasp) he didn't charge me anything! This made my day, as I was prepared for the worst. He gave me tips on what to do if the issue returns: I may need to have the control board replaced ultimately if it keeps happening. But he told me I can order the specific control board online from Amazon if I need him to replace it, as that will save me a significant amount of money compared to him getting it through his supply house. Thank you Phap. You have a loyal customer forever. As an aside, I saw in other reviews people wondered why Sooner Air was previously known as Mighty Oak Air as well as Win&Nguyen Heating and Air Conditioning. I asked Phap and he told me that in our Sun City Anthem magazine his services got listed under landscaping because of the name Mighty oak. He kept getting calls for landscaping instead of heating and air, so he changed the name to Win and Nguyen. But then people couldn't pronounce the name. So now he is Sooner Air.

Unfortunately there was a couple weeks delay because the laminate was shipped from Europe. So I wait. So they give me a call and tell me that they are ready to deliver to my house prior to the install. I think to get acclimated. So on Monday they start the work. I was to move all little things and they would move the big things because they didn't want to be liable. So I moved everything myself. I put things in my kitchen or on the existing laminate. As I'm looking through my indoor cameras. I see my cameras go blurry. I thought maybe it was a problem with wi fi. Then I figure it was them throwing plastic over it. So a couple of hours later. I see the camera angles are different. As if they moved them. Then an hour later. It's back in the original again. Again. I'm guessing they moved it back. As I'm at work and I can't watch the camera all the time. Then around 1pm. I try to watch the camera again and now it's off line. Which was strange because all other camera were on line. Fast forward. I get him and my camera is unplugged. This company is not trust worthy. Cameras in my house are set up for a reason. For untrustworthy people. This company is not untrustworthy but unprofessional. I went back through my cameras from earlier in the day prior to them unplugging them. I clearly see the men moving them and standing on a stool to do so. I called Sid. He said he was to call me back. Which I haven't received the call. The tile in my kitchen hasn't been replaced. The project manage said that as long as I had audio things should be good. Do not trust or hire this company. I'm telling any and everyone who listens. Now I have to think every day. I've been calling Bright Lights Electric for all my electrical needs since Duey was the one man of…read morethe operation. Unfortunately, those days are no longer. The other day, I called and thought I scheduled Duey, but, today, I was sent two other technicians for a simple job. A chandelier that Duey installed a little over 2 years ago, might be more cause pandemic plays with your mind timeframe, had a problem with the base hardware in that it fell down. The only time the chandelier gets touched is when it's being cleaned and it's not like it's being screwed around like a top, just tilted back-and-forth a little. Like every other hanging light fixture is. So this should've never happened! And because it did, Duey and his company should have taken on the responsibility/liability for it because, obviously, it wasn't installed properly in the first place. So now, what I thought would be a simple fix to put it back together and affix it back to the ceiling actually was, a simple repair. Undisclosed to me upfront, I was given a invoice for $150 for 15 minutes of work. That's the company scale for two techs, I know because I've been using them for over 20 years now. But, I was told by the technician that it was so much because I WAS being charged for two technicians. When I didn't even order two technicians and wasn't told of such when I booked. Was told they had to send two technicians because they didn't know that they were up against even though I explained it fully to Danielle when I booked the appointment. It only took one technician, Duey, to install it in the first place so this makes zero sense. Then, in texting Duey about this, but I'm thinking it was Danielle, I am told that I was only charged for one technician and, I guess, that was their way of justifying the invoice price. ‍ But that also means that they now charge $300 for two technicians to come out to your property for 15 minutes of work. I just thought that this should be brought to the public's attention! Although I have enjoyed working with Duey and his company throughout the years and I do wish him the best, I think from now on I'm just gonna find a technician off of Thumbtack. Where they compete for your business instead of gouge you in the end. And the prices are still reasonable. KIM or ?-You getting all defensive here and nothing else solves absolutely nothing! You didn't even ask, as I don't think YOU really care. The literal fix was, unscrewing the cross bar mount (or whatever it's called) pulling some of the cord back out because it was bulked up underneath the bronze mounting plate and reattaching everything. It was that bulk of cord that was keeping the entire base from properly attaching to the ceiling. That's installation issues.. As for telling me that I'm malicious when I'm on a public service announcement page doing a PSA, that's laughable. I wouldn't have even brought Bright Lights into the matter, had I not truly believed it was an installation issue! You need to be more people friendly and learn how to correctly run a business. It's not about attacking your clients for their personal experiences nor their business reviews, it's about resolving their issues. Let's also get to whole booking thing with Danielle pretending to schedule Duey to come out when she knows he's not working?! That's stooping low.

I have Fidelity as a Home Warranty - long story short Action Air saved our sanity. We called Action Air and they were able to schedule us within a couple of hours, from our call. The inside of our house was over 100°, we had been in excessive heat warning for days and were still going to be them for another week. Nick came out, diagnosed the problem(s) and let us know how we could proceed. Since we had Fidelity I followed their protocol, but was given the run around / delayed tactics and since this was literally life or death, scheduled an appointment, for Action Air to install a new unit. Our appointment was a few days out and Action Air offered to let us borrow some portable AC units. They worked so we could do some stuff at home, but with the excessive heat warning the units weren't enough for us to stay full time at the house. We ended up getting a motel for the evenings. During all this time Tracy was calling checking on us. When it came installation time, everyone showed up at the arranged time and work started immediately. Everyone knew what part they had and it went together like a puzzle. All the guys were attentive, friendly, they put down sheets in the walkways they used, the had sheets to cover the clothes in the closet, for when they were in the attic, they cleaned up after themselves and knew their business. They install a brand new, bigger and so much more quieter Maytag unit. After a few hours we had air . They removed the old unit and got the required permits. People and dogs were happy again. Unfortunately, later that night cold air stopped blowing. I contacted Tracy and she immediately called back. She got Nick on the phone and started brainstorming what the problem could be. Since it was 9/9:30pm, they said they'd be out 1st thing in the morning. Morning arrived and I get the call they're on their way. Nick does some testing and turns out it was a bad blower - the blower is old. The blower had absolutely nothing to do with the installation. Even though we weren't scheduled for an installation, they stayed and installed a new blower in the attic for us. Without a doubt, or skipping a heart beat, I would recommend Action Air - Tracy, Nick, Andrew and Mark (there was another guy, but I missed his name). They are upfront, honest, have great work ethics, reliable and a get the work done crew.
