I received vintage car service from this auto shop back in August 2024 after receiving poor unacceptable work from a previous shop who claim to be "experts" but clearly fell very short. If you buy a car here make sure you check the tires and that the tools to change the tire are when you get a flat because they sold you car with bad tire. Of course it happens at the worse time, got called into work for a emergency and when I came out to leave I had a flat tire due to tires having 60% life left on them and one being really bad when I bought the truck and then find out there is no tool to lower the tire, a jack or a lug wrench to change the tire. I was planning to change the rims and tires out so I didn't say anything at the time of purchase but now I'm really wishing i had. Thx r&r for leaving me stranded, I hope you got the look you wanted by cutting corners to make a extra buck. Makes me wonder what repairs you micky mouse before selling. I definitely won't be bringing it to you to fix the item we discussed when sold. Now I'm worried there is a bigger issue there that you tried to fix . We bought a truck from these guys, drove it 60 miles and it literally blew up, there was 2 quarts of burned oil in the engine, it threw some parts all over the engine, destroyed everything inside including camshafts, pistons, everything. They charged us 15,000.00 for a truck that was blown, our mechanic told us they had to know it was junk, and still put themselves in a position to profit big off poor people. Purchased a 2011 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel 4x4 on 08/23/18. The price was not haggled I purchased the went home thought about the truck and came back to purchase after some questions. They handed me a car fax and of course did there sales thing telling me how meticulous the truck had been maintained and that they personally went threw and did a (something like 142 point inspection) along with they did the maintenance on the truck so it was ready to go they also threw in that they have a few option for extended warranty I believe it was 1yr,12k / 2yr,24k / or 3yr,36k extended warranty. So I purchased the best warranty he offered the 3yr 36k mike extended warranty with road side assistance and any repairs done by any dealer or certified shop for 100.00 deductible and it would also include car rental and trip reimbursement for breakdowns over 150 miles from home. So I spent the extra 2,500.00. Out the door I paid just under 28,000 for the truck with warranty the truck had 165,969 miles giving me coverage for just under 202,000 miles. So I have had the truck and drove it just 6,582 miles not even do for its first oil change by me for the time period I owned the truck "they said they serviced it and did there big inspection" so my drive shaft comes apart and cracks my transfer case on 9/1/19 and only having driven 6k meaning i haven't had to service yet at all. The warranty they sold me got denied because of improper maintenance. Now remember when I bought the truck they told me they serviced it and also did there inspections to make sure it is good to go. So I call R&R since they sold me a truck with a 3yr 36 k extended warranty and it broke in a year with only 6,500 miles being driven. And i hadn't even put enough miles to need an oil change yet per owners manual (7,500miles) Brian tells me I bought the car as is and says at what point do I take responsibility for the truck. My response was if I do the regular maintenance I have an extended warranty that you guys sold me with the truck that you last did the services and did all your inspections on so I shouldn't be responsible for mechanical breakdowns that I have not caused. He tells me I can tow it down to there dealership and he can give me an estimate on how much to repair it. Than he makes a killer offer (that was a joke) and says we will work with you to help you out we normally charge 115 an hour we will only charge you 85 an hour plus parts. Even though I paid them for a warrant So after a 6 weeks ben went extremely out of his way to fight with me to get the warranty company to cover. We had our words and at the end of the day we could both be men and shake hands he did evertything he could to make things right. Hopefully they use a diffrent warranty company. I'm happy with looks of the repair. I can tell as an industrial mechanic that things appear to be done right. I like that the technician paint marked bots and parts. Thank you ben. I stopped by today to test a 05 Excursion they had advertised. I the advertisement photos vehicle looked super clean, but after test driving and giving it a actually physical look over it wasn't what it appeared to be. The interior was a 9 very few stains and no rips in any of the seats. Which is awesome for a 20 year old SUV. But the rest of the vehicle had obvious signs of wear . The sales person told me the mechanic was fixing a leak in the power steering. But what he wasn't telling me is the steering box was bad and going out. This is a common problem on these suvs . The rear windows wouldn't open ( another common issue). The suspension was worn causing bad handling .Aside from the almost exalent look interior the vehicle suffered from many if not all of the common issues these Excursion suffered from which was the reason ford discontinued them. This is to be expected when buying a excursion. But the sales people really worked hard at shining it up to pass off as a great buy. This was my first and last business ill be doing with R&R. I understand people need to make a profit in business, but not being trustworthy when selling a vehicle just isn't right and is just disgusting. My husband and I bought a 2013 Ford F-150 from here on 1/4/2020. I asked for the carfax, which revealed the car has previously reported rear end damage. This fact was never disclosed to my husband during their negotiations. The sales rep assured us "it was a minor rear end with no frame damage." Regardless, my husband liked the truck so we decided to purchase it. We dealt with Billy, who was the finance manager. Everything went smoothly and we drove off in the car. The car had tags that expired November 2019, but we paid for another year when the car was financed. They gave us a temporary registration for the front windshield which was good for 90 days. Billy said we should expect to receive the new stickers in the mail in a week or two. Six weeks passes by. Still no tags. So, I call the DMV and they indicated to me that a transaction had been started to transfer the vehicle into my name, but it was incomplete as fees were due. I called the dealership and spoke to a gentlemen who was extremely rude and said that it wasn't a big deal because we still had the temporary registration sticker. I gave it one more week. Still nothing. At this point I was calling the dealership once a week and every time I spoke with someone, they gave me the runaround as to where the tags were. They would say "we will call you tomorrow" "they should be here next week" "we are having our 'DMV' guy look into it." I'm fed up at this point. Apparently these guys are my husbands friends so I'm trying to be compassionate and understanding to an extent. But, it's the end of March and we are driving around a car with tags that expired in November with no indication of when we would receive the current tags. Yesterday, my husband called them as soon as they opened at 8am. I finally received a call back around 2pm from Ben, the "owner." In addition to being EXTREMELY RUDE, he gave me some runaround about how his finance manager, Billy, had submitted a payoff to the previous lender for the wrong vehicle and that they had not received the title from the previous owner, then continued to blame Billy for what had happened and said that he had been fired. He went on to explain that they use a "flooring" company to hold the money for vehicle payoffs and that the flooring company was closed due to the coronavirus so there was nothing that he could do. He explained that all he could do was issue a new temporary registration and that he was closing his dealership that day at 5pm indefinitely due to the coronavirus. At this point it's almost 3pm. My husband was working in San Bernardino. Ben then suggested that my husband come to the dealership by 5pm so that a new temporary registration could be issued. I told him that would be impossible as he was working until 5pm in San Bernardino. He then said there was no reason that he couldn't pick it up because he would pass the dealership on his way home. I explained that even if my husband was going home after work, he wouldn't be able to make it by 5pm, but that he wasn't going straight home after he got off (not his business in the first place). I suggested that the professional thing to do was to drop the registration off at my home (we only live a few miles from the dealership, and I have a newborn I can't just take out at the drop of a hat). I suggested he could leave it under my doormat or tape it to the front door. He said that he was not comfortable doing that because of the coronavirus. And then proceeded to tell me that he needed the vehicle there in order to process the new temporary registration. No other alternative was suggested. He then proceeded to say that we shouldn't judge his company because he are in unprecedented times. I can be understanding of that, but, we purchased the car on January 4. So, what happened and how many different people dropped the ball in all of January and all of February and most of March? At this point, I told him how frustrated I was that we just wanted to give the car back and cancel the loan. He proceeded to laugh and said, "it doesn't work like that, but if you want to hire legal counsel, it will just go to arbitration and you will lose." Well, jokes on him. I don't need to hire legal counsel because I am an attorney. After that, he said "this conversation is over" and hung up the phone. So now, Ben has closed his dealership indefinitely. We have temporary registration that expires on April 4. No current tags. And presumably no way to contact anyone at the dealership as they are closed indefinitely. No promise of a new temporary registration. So now after April 4, the car will not be operable as the temporary registration will have expired. Ben offered no alternate solutions, had horrible customer service and was extremely rude. This will not be the end of this. Would NOT recommend. read more

We stopped in on a whim to see what was on the lot and Tom came out to help us. Great conversation, no high pressure sales, we ended up testing driving and making an offer on one of their vehicles but the math didn't work for both parties; it happens. We parted ways with a smile and handshake and left our number in case anything else came up and continued our search. A few hours later we got a call that they'd work with us to make it happen as an early Christmas present to our family. When we arrived the paperwork ready at the price we agreed to. No hassles, no hidden fees and Tom even went outside himself and washed the windows to make sure everything sparkled and was ready to go. The entire staff was super friendly, and I had to look twice that I was actually sitting in a dealership. As a added bonus the first oil change is on them! No idea how this place got their ratings so high. 1 star because it wasn't really the sales ladies fault. I wasn't even going to write a review but since they called an asked for one. Here it is. Oh and yea, I waited to write this review just because I was worried I would never get my tags. 1. 2.5 months to get my tags. DMV confirmed they didn't get the paperwork til over 45 days after I purchased the car. 2. They were supposed to fix the front bumper which took 2 weeks to get done and all they did was run more screws in and broke the clips. Still look shotty. The excuse for taking a long time, waiting for a part. Yea okay, I took that thing apart when I got home before and after they so called fixed it and nothing was replaced. How I know, I marked each piece j took off with my initials. 3. Will not make a deal, not even for veterans and no, not even if you put half down. Yes I bought the car, money is not the main concern, it's the service. A service I would find out later that was crap. 4. Who's the owner? One guy says he is, the finance guy says he is. Bought a Mini Cooper from them in March for my daughter who is staring college. Drove it 1000 miles engine light came on took it to my mechanic and did a diagnostic. We did buy the extended warranty on the car. After two weeks and changes the oil pump and vacuum pump and $1700 out of pocket my mechanic found metal shavings on the oil pan. Did compression and leak test determines that the engine was no good and it need it a new one. Warranty company one of the worst ever according to my mechanic which has dealt with a bunch of them he is AAA certified. Called the dealership and all they said is that the car was sold as is and that it has been 4 months since we bought it. When I bought the car they assured me that they had inspected the car and did a service on it, My mechanic disagrees with that. Now I have to take it to a mini dealership so they can do a tear down on the engine and with luck the warranty company will pay for it. So over all I wouldn't trust them on how they inspect the cars they sell and definitely DO NOT buy the extended warranty. I know I have very little recourse because like they say. " the car was sold as is" and I got suckered into believing that they inspect the cars and sell you a reliable car. I would advise people to buy from a reputable dealership and don't risk buying from a dealership like this one. My daughter drove the car 2 time a week and just around town. After a 1000 miles you would think this dealership would like to help the customers but what people say is true, never trust shady used car salesman. I wanna first off saying these people are nice.... that's about it lol. I bought a 01 excursion with the 7.3 turbo diesel. Truck looks great has a little more rust than I thought it had (especially for a California only truck even thou it had lived in Huntington beach I feel like this was to much) I know why they wouldn't clean the top before I got it (their reason was they don't do that they have it detailed when they get it then have an wiped down) by someone maybe weekly I don't know. There's a part of me that feels like something happen to this truck before that's not on paper. Maybe a previous owner took it mudding n got mud inside, like sank it I really don't know. Rust on top of the car... in the rack area. I'm also pretty sure this had an air intake on it yes when I picked it up it has the stock box hmmmm anyways if u buy from here just look at what u are buying over n over again. Also they didn't budge on the price at all even if they say they did no u guys just didn't pay for my registration that's due in a couple weeks and I don't even have a pink slip... Wow anyways yea look your truck up n down before u buy here is how I feel. Heater box is out as well which is 600 to replace n that's a deal since u have to take the dash out. Check everything on what u look at here!! I feel like I've been screwed personally... and I paid cash!! 2 months ago 24k with tax and license included is what I said when I purchased it n they agreed to it finally since theyy wouldn't t ake 21k cash.... Disappointed. Called ahead to see, drive, and, if all checked out, purchase a truck they have advertised. First truck was "in their shop" when I arrived. Employee advised me that on a previous test drive. A week or 2 prior, a dash light came on, and they were trying to determine the issue, and get it cleared to pass smog. None of which was mentioned to me the day before when I set up the appointment. After the test drive, i realized the options advertised were inaccurate, and knowing I wouldn't be able to make the same day purchase I intended to, I asked to drive the second choice truck. I was advised the battery was dead, and they had one on order. I expressed my disappointment. I called the day before to purchase one of two advertised trucks. Trucks were not ready for sale, and not as advertised. I was then told, by the employee I made the appointment with, that I was offending him by being upset they didn't disclose any of this prior to my hour drive to their lot. He advised me of a completely different story re the first choice truck.. He stated "they were human", and continued to speak to me inappropriately, and unprofessional. I walked out. He later called to "apologize", and offer a fuel voucher, claiming "that's not what they were about". His apology turned into another unprofessional discussion. I thanked him for his "apology", stated all I wanted was to potentially purchase the truck as advertised, and nothing else. read more

There is no way I would ever purchase from Ben, John, Morgan or Bob. Be aware that they are all very nice when you are there but the second you purchase something you get the run around for weeks to months. No one is ever available to take your call and each person is at lunch everytime I go through the list of names to get someone to speak to. Wonderful and best car buying experience ever! Called Thursday evening and spoke with Rachel about a Mini Cooper I saw online. She answered all my questions and went above and beyond with info about the car during our phone conversation. Came the next day (Friday) to see the vehicle and Rachel had the car washed and ready for a test drive. She was super friendly and laid back, she didn't hassle us like most sales people. I told her during our phone conversation that we were just "looking" and still considering buying a 3rd/extra fun vehicle. Most sales people would not want to waste their time with someone just "looking". She was very attentive and not "pushy" at all! Well, car was immaculate, in excellent condition and so fun to drive! So of course we had to get it! We did notice they had a lot of very nice vehicles on their lot. I'm seriously considering going back and upgrading to one of their trucks they had on their lot! After we took the test drive (and fell in love with the Mini) we went in and talked over the financials (which went super fast and easy)! Then shortly after we were driving off the lot! Being Active Duty Military, I am used to auto dealers knowing I get paid on the 1st and the 15th of every month and really trying to take advantage of me. R&R Auto Group is right down the street from me and I saw a truck they had one day. I was not even really in the market for a truck but it caught my eye. I called them the next day and spoke with Ben. He explained to me that the truck was in excellent condition and once he found out I was active duty, instead of trying to hard sell me, he immediately told me thank you for your service and that he had the upmost respect for me. He also dropped the price on the truck. I didn't feel like I was buying from a used car salesman but felt like I was buying from one of my friends I have known my whole life. Ben's brother Jon was exactly the same. They are both down to earth guys who know A TON about autos. Both Ben and Jon went into detail about structural integrity of vehicles and what to look for. The final price on the truck was more than fair and about 7 grand under what others were asking, plus the truck came with a ton of extra aftermarket options that I would have spent thousands on myself. The truck had a few spots that needed to be touched up and before he would sell me the truck, Ben had the truck painted without an adjustment to the price. Despite getting a ridiculous price on the truck (one owner truck), Jon did the estimate on my car that I traded in and gave me more than I was expecting for it. Let me be clear that the vehicles on the lot are all exceptional. All of the vehicles are trade in vehicles that are purchased from dealers. This says a lot because Ben and Jon have to make sure the trade in vehicles at dealerships are just like a vehicle they would buy for their own use. The only mention of auction is when a vehicle does not sell on their lot and they need to move it. They do not buy junkers, reconstructed titles, or structural/frame damaged vehicles that would pose a safety hazard to the operator. They do not hide anything either. Whenever I am in the market for another vehicle, regardless of what state I am in, I will be contacting Ben and Jon to get me the best price on exactly what I want. They will go out of their way to try and find the vehicle you are looking for. It's also pretty cool when you go into a dealership and there are repeat customers there with the same stories. I recommend R&R Auto Group to everyone I talk to that is looking for a dependable vehicle at a more than fair price. I challenge you to look up KBB and NADA prices on vehicles you might be interested in and see what a fair asking price they post them at. They also are very cool with you making an offer on a vehicle and not taking offense to it. They will simply let you know why they are asking the price and probably still give you a great deal.
