In May-June 2025, I took my 2020 Silverado in for a tire rotation prior to a cross country trip…read morefrom Ohio to California. I have had several previous appointments to change oil, fix a fan, etc. and was well satisfied with their service. While in California, I took my truck to a Firestone dealer I had service my vehicles when I lived there, to balance my tires because I felt a "thump, thump". They informed me that they were unable to find the lock key for my aftermarket rims to start the order, and we searched the truck everywhere and was unable to find them. Upon returning to Ohio, I took my truck back to Lima Auto Mall and explained that my lock key was missing. They were unable to find the lock key as well, even though I explained my truck was already searched by myself and the Firestone staff. I might mention that they inferred that I "overlooked" the location of my lock key, but they finally provided me with a similar key that would work. Having my oil changed in October, 2025, I was told that my aftermarket hub caps were noted to be damaged when they lifted my truck to change the oil. When I removed one center hub cap, I could see that the bottom of the outer hub cap was dented in. Firestone in California was unable to begin the tire balancing I asked for because they did not find the lock key. So when was this damage done? I say, when the tires were rotated, confirmed by the fact that they did not even return my lock key. I feel it was a "rush job" that was not completed with professionalism. I will be going to another Chevrolet dealer for my truck servicing and will need to buy my replacement aftermarket inner and outer hub caps. I normally am very understanding because my husband was an auto mechanic for decades, just FYI.

Went back in warmer temps to be told they couldn't do anything, but make an appointment to get it in. Took it in at 3pm, called around 4p and told the issue. Paid $314 for the repair. We almost didn't drive over to Ohio due to reviews…read more However-- The team went above and beyond by staying late to help us complete the purchase and get our vehicle home the same day. Ben was especially enjoyable to work with--friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to throughout the entire process. He made everything smooth and stress-free. We truly appreciated the excellent customer service and would highly recommend Findlay Chrysler Jeep Dodge to anyone looking for a vehicle.

My wife and I spent five days negotiating a deal on a Yukon. We secured financing, underwent hard credit pulls, and reached a final agreement around 3:00 PM on a Tuesday. We were told the deal was settled and were instructed to arrange transportation for my trade-in vehicle and send a deposit once shipping was confirmed. Within an hour, I had secured vehicle transport and informed the salesperson that my vehicle would be picked up the following day. I received no response until 9:00 AM the next morning, when I was informed that the Yukon had been sold the previous afternoon because my deposit had not been received in time. Technically, they may be within their rights. However, the reality is that my deposit would not have been seen or processed until the next business day anyway--around the same time I received their response. After five days of negotiations and being told we had a deal, it felt like our commitment meant very little. What made the situation even more frustrating was that they immediately attempted to sell me a different vehicle from their inventory rather than address what had happened. In the end, we were left with a hard credit inquiry, time and money spent arranging transportation, and no vehicle. Nothing illegal occurred, but the experience left us feeling like just another number rather than a valued customer. If all things are equal, I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. A deal should mean something, and customers deserve better communication and follow-through than what we experienced.
