I've been an R&R Bbq fan for several years. Infact I started going when there was only a couple locations. I like to think I'm pretty good at bbq myself. I've always judged my bbq to R&R. This was our first time at the SF location and will be making it a more regularly for dinning out. I had the ribs and the were spot on 5 stars with no sauces. Taste, tenderness, perfect bite through. I got the 3 meat plate with chopped brisket, turkey , and pulled pork. First, they brought me sliced brisket instead of pulled pork without telling me. Second, the turkey was so dry and tough it tasted like rubber, the corn looked gray like it was spoiled. My wife got the fried chicken sandwich and she thought it looked like a breaded and fried lobster. The outside of the fried chicken was too tough to eat and her sweet potato fries were limp and mushy. Finally, the dine in experience was just sad. Dirty tables, walls, and floors. Staff of young kids just standing around. I feel like we are late to the party on this one and others have already realized not to come back. First time here. Heard it was good but after giving it a try, I have to say "good" is an understatement. R&R is "the place" to go for smoked meat BBQ. Loved the vibe of this location and the service was outstanding. I tried a kid's meal of pork sliders and sweet potato fries. Oh my gosh, these sweet potato fries are crazy delicious. Not too salty, perfectly crisp outside and tender sweet potato inside. I ate them without the dipping sauce - they would that good. The pork was so tender and perfectly smoked. I tried the sweet barbecue sauce with it and it was a perfect compliment. Slider bun was a bit more dense than I care for but it was good. Friends ordered the smoked pork with pineapple sandwich and sides of fries and beans. Friend who ordered the beans said they reminded her of her mother's; nicely sweet not too spicy. Average price for each meal was around $10 very reasonable considering the quality and generous portions given. Can't wait to come back again read more

First time trying it. Between price, quantity, and quality I'd give it 3 stars. The main reason is regarding the quality mainly and secondary quantity. The meat itself was a bit on the dry side. The sauces here are pretty watery instead of a thicker sauce making it harder to apply better. The sauces didn't have much variety of difference between them with none really standing out as excellent. The pull pork sandwich bread itself was generic in quality and the veggies used seemed to be on the cheaper end. The Mac and cheese was pretty generic with a lack of flavor and slightly over cooked noodles. They were putting chairs up and the exits were blocked. Probably to ensure customers didn't enter the dining room upon entry. Strange when you still have 45 minutes until closing. I have been going to R&R since they opened in Spanish Fork but the last 2 times have been disappointing. A few months ago I was quite sick after eating at R&R. Last week I got the pulled pork nachos they should have called them pork fat nachos. I had very little pork but was served big hunks of fat. There were mainly chips in my nachos so even after pulling out the globs of fat the chips were either drenched in cheese so much they were limp or had no cheese. You had to get out a magnifying glass to find the little specks of tomato. It was a waste of time and money I doubt I'll ever return. I ended up throwing most of it out. read more

I was super disappointed because the ribs were not tender but dry. The mac and cheese was dry with barely any cheese sauce. And there was a black 1/2 inch hair in my coleslaw. Ok, I am a huge fan of R&R BBQ and have been for years. But the past few times I went to this location (Spanish Fork) with my family, we have had very poor service/quality of food. The baked potatoes are ALWAYS sold out in the evening when we go (just buy more potatoes!). And last night, half our family didn't get their meal until the first half was finished. Then when the food finally came, it was undercooked and cold. I ordered the brisket nachos and there were 5 small pieces of brisket that were essentially just fat. Not worth the upsell. We took them back asking for a different meat and the staff was just standing behind the counter and on their cell phones (the other half of our food order still hadn't arrived). I was very excited to try this place an immediately was disappointed. I ordered the cheeseburger and fries and was given a practically raw patty with little to no flavor and cold French fries. At first I thought that maybe it was medium rare but as I ate the burger it got less and less cooked. I then stoped eating it because I perder not to get salmonell. 5 minutes later my stomach start to hurt and I immediately new that I should have never eaten that burger. First time here and it think R&R is the McDonald's of BBQ restaurants. It's not that great but people keep eating there. We ordered the Friday special Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf. Sounds great, right? It hits the table and the first thing that I say is, "That looks like something out of an MRE!" Everybody laughed but I was not joking. It looked just like some processed meat substance that we would eat in the military. It was barely edible and had to be drowned in BBQ sauce to eat. It was the worst meatloaf I have ever had and was easily one of the worst things I've had in a restaurant in a very, very long time. The other dish we ordered was the half rack rib plate. BBQ ribs are always a favorite but these are mediocre at best. Dry and flavorless would explain them pretty well. Twenty bucks down the drain there with that plate. There were four of us eating together and two of the four had sides that didn't come out. I had to go back TWICE to the counter to ask for our fried pickles and we finally got them 20 minutes after our other food came out. If you're in the area and want BBQ do yourself a favor and run across the parking lot to the Maverik gas station and get a BBQ rib bundle. It's honestly better than this. On the plus side the staff was very friendly, even when they kept forgetting my fried pickles they had a smile. My wife also said the sweet potato fries were the best she has had anywhere. read more

I'm from St. George but my husband and I come to Spanish Fork once a week on business. Consequently, we have to eat out often. I was lucky enough to find this place. They accomodated our low-carb needs and were so friendly. We had the Turkey Cob Salad and an order of wings. We were not disappointed. The salad was very fresh. None of that bagged salad crap that so many restaurants are using now. Their sauces and salad dressings were all yummy. Their wings were so good that they didn't need any sauce, but they do have several sauce options. We will definitely be coming back to try their other amazing looking plates. But my review wouldn't be complete, if I didn't mention one of the best and most hard working gentleman they are blessed to have on their team. I believe his is Waymen. That awesome guy came to our table more than once, making sure we had everything we needed, and was so pleasant. Then he would go back to working hard, in every area of the restaurant.
