My #1 brisket I have ever had was Kreuz BBQ in Lockhart, TX. The next on my list is JW Hayes n Newport Beach, CA.- very similar to Kreuz and told me he fashioned his after Kreuz. Now I have a #3- which ranks right up there with Kreuz and the JW Hayes. The brisket was so tender and fell apart when you pick it up. Just the right amount of smoke flavor. So good. My wife ordered the pulled chicken sandwich and said it was the best she ever had. And she is VERY picky, so I was surprised. I tried hers and it was very tender as well.
