Honestly I love Brandon's, maybe I'm biased because I've been coming here for years. The food is always solid, service is always friendly, and it's always clean. This visit I was craving chilaquiles! So I got that and added carne asada, extra potatoes instead of beans, and a side of cottage cheese. My hubby got meat lover scramble with a side of pancakes. The chilaquiles were excellent. I give this place 4 out of 5 stars, cant believe i never posted. This place was good from what I can remember lol service was nice or I wouldn't of gave a 4 it was saved in my drafts. Been going here for 10+ and have never had a bad experience. Today our server Erika, took our order, dropped off the food and never checked on us. There was random bread in between my tray and food paper, couldn't tell her because she wouldn't stop for us, AND SHE CHARGED OUR CARD FOR NOT ONLY OUR CHECK, BUT ANOTHER TABLES CHECK TOO. The service is very inviting and a wide range of menu items to choose from. The food portion size are huge so come hungry. However if you have to reduce salted foods I would recommend not having the pastrami sandwich which we had as take out to bring home. As for the French fries they are amazing! I just recently moved to Moreno Valley and tried out this restaurant for the first time last Sunday 4-12-26. It was really busy and wait took 45 mins. There are worse places to eat in Moreno Valley. Of course, there are better - but the inventory of restaurants in MoVal is still pretty grim. So you may end up at Brandon's. The neighborhood leaves a lot to be desired. It shares a parking lot with a motel that has hopefully seen better days because in the present day it's pretty sketch. But if you can get past that, you can find a decent breakfast at Brandon's. I had the Breakfast Quesadilla with Grilled Flour Tortilla With Scrambled Eggs, Potatoes, Cheese, Guacamole & Sour Cream. It was enormous and not bad. My friend had one of the "skillets" (not served in a skillet by the way). It was also enormous and OK. The coffee was decent and the service fast and efficient. It does appear they have a liquor license so if you are a little stressed by anything you saw in the parking lot, you can get a Mimosa. And prices are very reasonable for the huge portions. I would do this location of this small chain again, but it wouldn't be a top choice. read more

My wife went to a late breakfast at Brandon's while we wait for my truck to worked on. We so impressed with meal we had. My wife was curious about the Menudo so our waitress Jamie Lynn asked if we would like to try a little sample and we thought that was really cool. What a wonderful flavor it was so we ordered a bowl and shared it along with our breakfast that we both ordered, the chili-chilies and skillet meal. Atmosphere was great but for the breakfast, it was too bland, had no flavor, the steak skillet was horrible, it was more like taco meat and meat taste like it was boiled, how do you get a country skillet wrong. The waitress apologized and said they would fix it. And this is what she returned with... the taste was horrible. Went for breakfast, with 3 others. No wait to be seated, server was really sweet and friendly and helped with menu options. Deducting one star because it didn't look very clean, there was a gnat pestering us the whole time, and we were seated in a booth where the paint was peeling. We have been eating here for years but never again. Ordered tacos for takeout that were so over cooked they were not eatable. Called to speak to a manager was put on hold for 30 minutes and no manager picking up to see what the complaint was. Drove back to the diner to speak to a manager and show her what her diner was serving. Had to wait another 20 minutes and the had to go into the bar where the manager ( Lorena) was making a drink and was able to get her attention. I showed Lorena the food her diner was putting out and her response was, oh they cooked it to much. The meat in the tacos looked like jerky and the only reason I got an apology from her is because I told her an apology would be nice instead of just shrugging it off to the cooks over cooking the food. Brandon's is a neighborhood standard for a while for casual dining and drinks in the area. The staff has always been welcoming and friendly. We usually prefer to sit in the bar area. There are plenty of tables rather than booths and the room is well lit, open with music usually playing and big screen TVs of the latest games that are on. We happen to go on a later dinner last night. We were greeted very warmly by our server Jennifer. She remembered us right away and offered us our favorite drinks! She immediately made our drinks, including my favorite cocktail. Jennifer seemed a little nervous about how I would like the way she made my drink and checked on me. I told her that it was the best I've had at Brandon's yet. The drink was perfectly balanced with all the ingredients. I can tell she made it with care and it showed. We proceeded to order our food. We appreciate the great selection. I ordered the corned beef hash with eggs, while my wife wanted freshly made taquitos and my Mom has a taco and a bowl of soup. All were very tasty and made fresh. The hubby and I came here for breakfast on Wednesday, for the first time. I'm not really sure why it took us so long! The food was pretty good!! The parking, not so great! I really thought that the fact that they're in the same parking lot as a hotel there wouldn't be a problem finding a spot, but there was. Either way, we got in and seated quickly.
