Sometimes you need the big box…read morestores but so often you need a few things or real help with a project, that they can not give you. Parking is ample and the lot is well lit. Propane gas is available for refill or tank swap. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Every time I go there I am greeted with a smile on entry and asked if I need assistance. The staff is very knowledgeable and I can always get help with whatever project I am doing. They offer a military discount and a rewards program that are very helpful. Whether you need to get your lawn back in shape or tools for a job Ace is the Place!!! And the staff really is helpful!! My next project is getting the yard ready for Spring so seeds are mulch are on the list for this week.

Neither man could speak clear English. The had a HEAVY Dominican accent. And when we said we couldn't understand what they were saying they just spoke louder!! They proceeded to come in to the kitchen, go under the sink cabinet and literally throw her items across the kitchen floor. Then unscrewed the old dishwasher, pulled it out and said something about the electrical outlet. We have no way idea what was being said. The pushed it back in. Screwed it in place and left. Her grandmother had to call and reschedule someone to come back out 3 days later to either explain or install. We will see. Awful service. Horrible energy from the 2 workers! She has that I am a "BIG SHOT" attitude that I saw when she first walked up to me. This job has her so far up from everyone else it literally STINKS like her. I knew at that point I was going to get no satisfaction. The DEI hire [don't know her name so we will just call her DEI] has a job that she has no business being there. I have a BRAND NEW mower with 9 hours that has been sitting there for 31 days and no parts have yet been ordered for it. The technician does not know that much about mowers I can tell being a Journeyman mechanic for 34 years as he tried to shoot some bull at me about the problem and I told him I am not you normal uneducated person. He is trying to tell me the forward and reverse arms are worn out from using them to get on & off the tractor. REALLY !!!! worn out with 9 hours on it? I asked him DO YOU BELIEVE THAT STORY and he stated that is what he is told. Talked to 5 other facilities that repair these mowers and one technician started LAUGHING. I ask him so the mower has been sitting in your store for months or days and the fault could have occured right in your store but you are blaming me. The technician has NO IDEA or even HOW to fix this MADE UP bull%$#@ problem he invented because he does not really know what is wrong. The first time it was explained to me it was rubbing on the frame then it got moved to being my fault for using the arms to pull up on the tractor [which I never did] it was something he made up because he does not know why the right side of the mower moves slower on the right than left side. When DEI [manager] took me to the back to talk about it and this technician came up with the fairy tale pulling on the arm bull%$#@ I told him I have been working on cars for over 55 years he will have to do better than that. It was at this point DEI jumped in and started acting like a 3rd grader swinging her POSITION around. I stated to her if I was the owner I would FIRE you at that point she told me to get out of the store. There was a big hulk like thing in the back and her came up to me got in my face like he was going to throw me out. I told him you lay one hand on me and I will own every mower in this store. So I left 15 minutes later I get a call from a police officer wanting to get my approval to repair the mower. REALLY what does a police office have to do with getting my mower fixed that has been there for almost 40 days. They had the approval or I would have never called them to come and get it to fix it. IF IT IS UNDER WARRANTY WHY DO I HAVE TO GIVE AN APPROVAL?? and why does a police officer have to get involve? THIS IS HOW STUPID THIS SOUNDS YOU BUY A BRAND NEW CAR FROM A DEALER TAKE IN FOR WARRANTY WORK BUT THEY HAVE A COP CALL YOU TO GET YOUR APPROVAL FOR A REPAIR THEY NEED NO APPROVAL FOR THE OWNER FOR AS LONG AS IT IS UNDER WARRANTY Taking the mower to another shop so they can PROPERLY DIAGNOSE the problem and where there will be a technician who knows about mowers and can repair them

I had a list of things to grab and sometimes, it can still be a scavenger hunt to find some items even with the hanging signs. Today, staff was on point with their customer service! Eric was able to assist me with with choosing a weed killer. He personally likes to go natural when it comes to landscape upkeep, so I definitely appreciated him staying strong near these chemicals (inside joke). When it came to cashing out, Lowe's staff seemed to not notice the heavy traffic of people entering the store. That would potentially mean more cashiers being available to avert a long checkout line...or at least open self-checkout. Jennifer was the only cashier on the floor managing at least 20 customers. Thankfully, she served us with a smile despite being alone with us impatient customers! This is the Lowe's to come to. That's a whole 'nother issue..... I contacted Lowe's online customer disservice to get a replacement gift card. The unhelpful person handling my problem acted like I was bothering him and told me to visit the store where I made the purchase. Went to the store where I made the purchase and both ladies at customer disservice counter told me I was basically S.O.L. (mind you I purchased physical gift cards at three other retailers that promptly assisted me, investigated and determined the card had not been used and reissued replacement cards without hesitation). Lowe's there was no way to trace my purchase. Really??? Also, my husband didn't have his Lowe's credit card and the customer disservice staff gave him the run around to locate his card info. So, Home Depot, Ace and the local hardware store will be getting our business in the future.
