Rico is the owner and my only advice is to RUN AWAY!!!! Rico renovated our kitchen and never completed the work, despite us paying in full. The work he did complete is littered with imperfections - crooked counters, floor boards cut imprecisely, and rush jobs on paint that is left with drips. On top of the shoddy work, he never showed up on time, had tons of excuses for everything and will ignore your calls as soon as he has your $$$. Rico is why you should pay more and go with a contractor that provides an itemized quote and full contract. He's a scammer, please avoid at all costs. read more

He did a kitchen reno for us in August of 2023, there is a list of things to be completed and he CONSISTENTLY makes appts and doesn't show for them and hasn't replied to a single text since he was "supposed" to be here last week. They closed in one of my ac/heat vents with the cabinet!! I have uneven backsplashes, cracks in finishes, flooring is messed up in several areas, doors hitting walls, leaving dings and marks, shoddy finishes all around, new kitchen isn't centered in the sink space. Rigoberto Pizarro is not licensed, bonded, or insured. He is an absolute liar and does not know what he is doing. His "crew" is two undocumented workers that do not have the slightest clue what they are doing with tools or in construction. Rigo and his crew took $7K from us, abandoned our house unfinished, and did laughable work. We hired him in early September and he stopped showing in in November. He lied to us about insurance and withheld the contract from us, and continued to work on our house after we asked him to stop until we saw paperwork. Our siding project was originally remove the aluminum, install a few windows and the front door we had purchased, and install the new fiber cement siding. It was an estimated $15K job. Now we are out $7K he stole from us, and an estimated $22K to fix the house he has ruined with vinyl siding. Every contractor I have had out since literally laughed at what his crew did. They did not frame the windows properly, they put shaker over the fascia board, they face nailed the trim, they installed the wrong colors, they fired nails in randomly rather than finding and hitting the studs (in fact, one nail went through the inside of our house and is sticking through our built in cabinets next to the fire place), they framed out for a smaller window before removing the original larger window, they did not do EPA work for the lead paint on the old wood siding underneath the house, they left a cracked board installed on one side of the house, they did not wrap the house, they did not remove the old siding, multiple pieces of siding weren't cut or installed straight, they caused the fascia boards behind the gutters to rot because they ripped the downspouts off without unscrewing them first, they did not install a drip edge anywhere, on and on and on. It has been an absolute nightmare. Rigo, you owe us for what we paid you and the damage you have caused. You do not deserve to call your scam a business. You are a joke. Please, anyone out there looking to hire this guy, save yourself the migraines, the money, and the time. Rigo is the reason we are in this mess. He is the reason we are going broke trying to fix it. He is the reason people are afraid of contractors. He deserves to pay for what he has done to us. He has been paid but I am yet to have my kitchen completed according to contract. I have delt with his workers wife being in the hospital. the next week he said he had the flue. the following week his cousin was shot. He is a liar and a very unethical Contractor. This is the worst P.O.S. Company I ever tried to hire. I have a baby due in 2 months and they assured me they would be able to come in and knock out the construction of a new bedroom before the end of the year when my baby is due. I had them booked for 2 months with constant communication leading up until the day when construction was supposed to start. I also took a whole week off work just to be here so I could let them in and out for them to work. Then comes the Monday morning when the scheduled construction was supposed to start and they were nowhere to be found and they would not return my phone calls or texts. I wish I could give less than 1 star as previously reported by another reviewer. Our kitchen remodel turned into a nightmare with Rigo and his crew. Thank goodness, we decided to use a local contractor to do the construction that needed to be done. Rigo gave us a quote for new granite counter tops for kitchen and Island. The only time he was on time was our first appointment to meet him and get the quote. We went to Stone Design of Indianapolis and of course he was late bc he had taken pain medicine the night before and overslept. We picked our stone and thought everything was a go. After several cancellations he finally showed up to put in the counter tops ( 4 hours late) he and one other person worked for several hours and Rigo said he cut one piece wrong and would be back on Monday. It took a few weeks but he finally came back in Mid November, I had to run an errand and wasn't here when he finally arrived so he put in the new piece, my husband paid him and he left. I got home and immediately saw what they did, he glued about a 4" piece to the back of the granite and installed it. I was livid. While cleaning off the rest of the counter, found a large crack, pieces didn't match color wise, needless to say the counter top was a mess. Our cabinet maker advised us to call him right away and guess what, no answer. Luckily we were able to stop payment on the check so he didn't get paid. I proceeded to take pictures of the counter and sent them to Rigo with all our complaints. He finally responded and came back with the excuse he didn't see the piece glued to the back of the piece he cut wrong until he was installing it, yet he failed to mention it to us. Our cabinet contractor was our spokes person and gave Rigo a what the hell talking to and basically told him to fix it or take it out. We tried to get some help from the Stone Design people but they wouldn't budge. Yet we felt we were in the drivers seat because Rigo had not been paid. He promised he had another slab of the same stone and he would have it delivered to his shop for us to come and look at and he would call us as soon as he got it. We never received a call or text although Rigo says he tried several times to reach us yet we don't have any record on our phones that he called or text. We decided to go with another distributor and picked out another stone from them, the only problem was I really liked the one I originally picked out from Rigo. I finally text Rigo to give him one more chance to replace the stone and he came through. (not on time though) We told him when he came to put in the new counter in to be sure to bring an itemized statement showing the cost of the stone, labor and etc or we would not pay him, guess what, no statement so, he still didn't get paid. That was a week ago, said he would be back the next day with a statement, no show until today. called to see if he could come by and get paid, his statement consists of a receipt book that said, granite and plumbing and the price. Not really a statement at all but my husband just wanted to be done with him at this point and paid him. Of course he said if we have any problems to be sure to call and he will come right back to repair it. We know that won't happen. Just sorry we didn't do more to check him out, but he was recommended by Home Adviser and now he is not a member of that group. I recommend you don't use him. Jean B read more

I wish I could give less than 1 star. I would never use this painter again! They said they job would take 5 days. I had to call them EVERY single day to see if they were going to show up. One day they were working on their van instead of painting my house. Then when they did paint, they got paint on the carpet and didn't clean it up. You can see the old paint at the bottom of the walls where it they didn't paint all the way to the baseboards. We have found several places they didn't paint at all (ie., under the vanity in the bathroom, they didn't take fire alarms off the walls - just painted around them). They absolutely wouldn't have been done in 5 days if I hadn't called them to make them show up each day. Rigo actually replaced all of the outlet covers in our house. He got the smallest ones he could find and put them on. You can clearly see they don't look right. A couple of them were cracked and he put them on anyway. He said he was an electrician and replaced some of the outlets. None of the ones he replaced in the kitchen worked when he left. He said he would come back and fix them and never did. he stopped replying to any messages I left him. I had to pay $150 to have a real electrician come out and fix his mistakes. We hired R&P Construction to screen and recoat the wood floors in our entire house AND remove wallpaper,paint all of the walls and ceilings in an older home we were about to move into. Rigo gave us a good quote and did the job quickly, and when we did a final walk through, he assured us if we found something wrong or needs to be fixed he would come back and fix them. After AT LEAST 10 PHONE CALLS AND 5 CANCELLED APPOINTMENTS, MONTHS LATER, THEY STILL HAVE NOT FIXED THEIR MISTAKES IN OUR HOUSE: 1. A ring of paint on our newly screened and recoated wood floors ( right in the entry way to our living room). There was carpet in this room and I have photos that prove the floors were in perfect condition with no paint on the floors. I would clean it up if I could, BUT THEY PUT THE POLYURETHANE FINISH OVER THE PAINT (THEY SPILLED) ON MY FLOOR! 2.Drips of paint down original 1930's wood paneling. 3. Did not remove all of the wallpaper glue from walls before painting. Now most of the room has rough patches of glue covered with paint. IT LOOKS TERRIBLE! 4. Some of the floors (especially the hallway upstairs) has large drops of polyurethate finsh all over them. (something very hard to tell on a quick walkthrough) 5. Terrible painting!
