A hidden gem in Sisters! Found this little place on a yelp search and read the outstanding reviews, so we decided to stop by on our way through Sisters as we were heading out of town. Called ahead and ordered a meatball sandwich to go and all I can say is, "Oh My GOODNESS!". Honestly the best meatball sandwich I've ever had. I split it with my husband and he was amazed. The bread was the perfect amount of crispy and soft (no mushy sandwich here). The meatballs are superb and just the right amount of sauce. I absolutely can not wait to go back to this place. Stop in. I don't even know where to start. I found R Spot on Yelp and based off of the ratings, my husband and I decided to eat dinner there (so we thought). Well, we entered R Spot, and there were only a few other customers in the restaurant. After sitting at a table for 40 minutes with zero service, we decided to leave. The blonde waitress wouldn't even look in our direction, let alone approach our table to ask what we wanted to order. I do NOT recommend this "hole in the wall" restaurant. read more

Norm makes the best soups, sandwiches and pasta. The Italian sandwich is the best in town.

Saw the great reviews and decided to try it. Not disappointed. We had the caprese panini and chicken Alfredo. Delicious!

Really good marinara sauce - obviously fresh. Friendly atmosphere. Bahn mi panini was outstanding- especially the pickled jalapeños. Good service. Only improvement would be to have more tables. Only four beers on draft but all different so got to try something new in a red/amber. Really happy with the experience. read more

Wow!, Fantastic locally owned and operated restaurant. We each had the pasta carbonara. It was fresh, flavorful and very generous in its portions. You could tell the owner/chef takes pride in serving his best. read more

I'm a local and this is my favorite place to eat. My top choices are (hard since there are so many): Tomato Stack, Smoked Turkey Panini, and Cheese Lasagna with Bolognese Sauce! Oh yeah and garlic bread or cheese bread is a must! All of it's amazing so you can't go wrong! read more

I had the Bahn Mi sandwich and it was delicious and fresh! The service was excellent and very friendly. Staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome and to make sure I was enjoying my meal. We walked into R Spot 10 minutes before closing and we were welcomed and shown to an outside table. The service was exceptional and the food was amazing. The cubano panini was the best I have had. The chef and owner visited with us and his passion was evident. If you are looking for excellent Italian food, prepare with a distinct flair, you will not find a better locale than R Spot. read more

Stopped by on our way through Sisters. Yummy! Small relaxed atmosphere. I had the grilled cheese and it was delicious! Makes me feel more like an adult when it has all the other goodies. I would give a higher rating if it was possible. This restaurant deserves every 5 star rating it has gotten. Friendly service and incredible food. I love the carbonara and my husband is hooked on the linguini with clams. The salads are fresh and made with a great selection of ingredients. If you are in Sisters I highly recommend you stop by and try either the food prepared for you or something from the fridge. So easy to have a lunch or dinner ready for take out or eat in. Ok...I'm writing this stuffed full....not wanting to stop cause there's more on my plate in Moab, Utah. We packed our RV in Sisters, Oregon and didn't want to mess up my kitchen before we took off on our trip. So we ordered take out from R Spot...one of our favorite places in town. As per usual, we could only eat half of what we ordered...one plate of lasagna and one capellini with shrimp . We took off and drove 906.5 miles to Moab, Ut. Tonight we heated up our leftovers and still had leftovers. It is seriously sooo good and so well portioned. You cannot go wrong eating here. read more

The barely wine was great. The food? Uh. Disappointing. Back home there was a fast food Italian restaurant I would hit up in high school. It tastes just like that. Very generic bland sauce and store bought noodles. For the cost I was expecting something extra. Something home made. We got carbonara, chicken Alfredo, and spaghetti and meatball. My husband's Alfredo was so bland that he asked if he could mix it into my carbonara to add some flavor. Didn't help and he didn't finish it which says a lot if you knew him. My son ended up eating my mixed up carbonara since his meatball was to spicy (wasn't at all but he's picking) the meatball was very dry. The tomato sauce was flavorful but again cheap noodles. The bread everyone said was so good? Hot dog buns that have fake butter and parsley and pressed with a panini press! That's it! Idk. I'm used to being disappointed but for 38.00 for family of three with no drinks... That's an expensive disappointment. read more

All of the food is great, but I highly recommend the Banh Mi and the Turkey sandwiches. Great place to grab a beer and have a casual meal.

The best spot for lunch and dinner in Sisters! This is hands down my go to place after a long day at work when I'm hungry and craving some amazing vegan pasta and garlic bread. Norm is awesome! Every time I visit I have the best customer service, delicious food in hearty portions and an overall great experience. The hard cider selection is also great. I have been meaning to write a review for a while now because R Spot is definitely a 5 star establishment and everyone needs to know about this place! If you reside near/in Sisters and have yet to visit, you're missing out! If you reside in Bend, the experience is worth the drive! As someone who lived in Portland for a while and is use to having late night dining options, I'm really glad R Spot is open until midnight since I work in Bend and don't get home (past Sisters) until at least 10pm. Why cook dinner after an exhausting day at work when you can drive over to R Spot and end the day on a positive (and delicious) note? read more

I REALLY wish this review was better, but perhaps I should have chosen something different. I picked up the capellini to go and I have to admit it was bland and flavorless. :( Angel hair with with very little tomatoes/basil and it just tasted like oil. I tasted nothing else. I was hoping for a garlic "punch" but didn't get it. Sigh. However, the bread was GREAT! With all of the wonderful reviews I was so disappointed!! I will try again, but not get the capellini....everybody deserves a second chance! Next time lasagna. read more

This is a great addition to Sisters. It is casual and the food is good and you can do take out or eat in the small restaurant. There is a small wine selection and a larger beer selection. We have had their pasta and lasagna and it has all been good. If you are looking for an upscale restaurant then this is not it but if you want good food in a casual setting or prefer take out then give this a try for sure. It is also open later in the evening than most Sisters restaurants. read more

Wow! Happy surprise- this little "spot" right off the main street is unpretentious and nummy. The R Bahn Mi is amazing.
