Looking for a late night snack at The Row. Menu is simple...a slice, soda, beer, water...homemade dill ranch dressing is optional for a small fee. Pizza looks fantastic, but ok at best. This place is only open on Friday and Saturday. It used to be my lady's favorite pizza in town hands down. The pizza came out quick, the cook used to chat with you and if you talked long enough he'd even surprised you with crispy little garlic pieces that were awesome to put on your pie. However it seems ownership/management has changed hands and it's no longer the divine diamond it used to be. The atmosphere is as stale as the dough they use to cook their new deep dish style slop. My family and I came here during labor weekend for a quick bite. The term "hidden pizza" made me have vibes like the secret pizza in vegas. They only offer full pizza at the moment, but we were a big group and we were hungry. We ordered the chicken artichoke pizza. Came out pretty quick and the pizza itself was tasty. Is it hip to be square? Not for pizza. These guys forgot how to make pizza. We were excited to see this place re-opening in the Silver Legacy. We planned to grab a slice after the Aces game. Unfortunately the re-opened version was nothing like we remembered from previous visits. To start, the pizza is no longer round nor New York style. They are now serving square slices with moderately thick dough. They had cheese, pepperoni, veggie and meat lover. We got meat lover which had sausage, salami and pepperoni. It was priced around $9-10 per slice. Each square was about 6" x 6". Cheese was priced at $6.99. The dough was chewy and the cheese scant. Personally I think it's the best grab-and-go food place at The Row. The slices are large and the crust is thin and chewy. While I'm a fan on endless toppings on my pizza I actually really like just getting the regular pepperoni here. It's exactly what you'd imagine when you think of a good slice of pizza. Just simple and delicious! You can definitely add toppings to any pizza if you're so inclined. They generally always have pepperoni, cheese, and meat lovers. They also have a rotating specialty pizza like Hawaiian and veggie. Both of these are also good if you're in the mood for pineapple on your pizza or a white sauce based one respectively. After you've chosen your pizza they'll heat it up in the firebrick oven and have it out in a few minutes. Now my favorite part: the shakers. They have several herbs/spices you can add like Parmesan and red pepper flakes, but I like to add the crushed garlic. So good! Keep in mind that they don't open until 5pm, but they are open late. A great place for a late night snack when you're enjoying a night out. I know it is a restuarant in a casino, but some are so good. Not this one! The pizza sauce had a good tomatoey taste. The crust was crisp on the bottom, but the crust around the edges was rock hard! They are located within the Eldorado Casino, in the skybridge over 4th Street, and right across the hallway from Brew Brothers. They used to be concealed behind a row of slot machines, but those have been moved, and now you can easily spot them. Step right in, and it certainly feels like a pizza joint you'd find in New York City or Long Island. There are a few bench spaces to sit at, but really, this is a to-go sort of establishment. All the pies are made in house, with you getting a front row view at the hard-working staff crafting them while you stand in line. Service here is very quick and courteous, and they do a great job keeping the fresh pies rolling out of the oven. You primarily order by-the-slice here, from the row of different pies laid out on the counter, each with different styles of toppings. There is nothing too exotic here that I've found, cheese, pepperoni, meat lovers, vegetarian, Hawaiian, and a couple others. Let me tell you, these slices here are HUGE! They are some of the only legit-sized NY-Style slices I've seen in this town. As far as taste goes, it is very yummy, indeed. I will say the crust is pretty great, except maybe just a bit too crispy to do the proper "fold" which I think is required by New York State when consuming their pizza. However, I think for the price you pay, this makes it a really good value. Prices here start at about $3.75 for a slice of cheese. Ones with toppings go up from there. Combo with a soda is about $5, and combo with beer or wine is maybe $7-$8. You can also order whole pizzas, and call ahead of time for pickup, with those prices starting in the low $20's range, and increasing depending on what toppings you choose. In addition to pizza, there are also meatball sliders on the menu, which I hope to try sometime. As far as downsides go, there are only a few, mostly tied in with it being in the casino. The air can be a little smokey at times. And on weekend nights or after a show, the lines can be a bit backed up. Also, parking is pretty much the casino garages, which can be really full at times, and is not adjacent to the storefront. All in all, I think Hidden Pizza gets a lot of things right with their products. I think they are delicious, and a nice spot to stop by for a bite. Definitely a solid recommendation. read more

I have been excited to try Hidden Pizza ever since my boyfriend told me that it was in the works. I love the simplicity of the menu. Sometimes there are too many options, and I end up getting frustrated with myself for being indecisive. When I walked in there were 2 pizzas ready to go for slices, a white pizza with tomato and olive and a cheese pizza, but by the time I got up to the front to order another pie had just been taken out of the oven. I chose a slice of the fresh one which was sausage and mini pepperoni. This is a thin crust pizza, so be ready to fold! The toppings and sauce were so tasty, but the crust was a bit too floury for my liking. Additionally, there was no ranch available, but they've only been open for a couple of days so I'm positive there will be ranch in the future. For only $5 you get a slice and a soda or for $6 a slice and a PBR. There really isn't a better deal in the downtown area.
