The spa was clean, and the massage itself was good. However, I specifically booked a couples massage, and we were told just before the treatment that the AC in the couples room was broken, so we had to be placed in separate rooms. This completely changed the experience we had planned and paid for. What was most disappointing is that there was no apology or offer to make up for the inconvenience. After giving them a glowing review, what a disappointment it has been working with them on a gift certificate I had received from my husband last year for Mother's Day! After booking my appointments, they said they confirmed with my husband, which he had NO record of & despite them having MY contact information! Suffice it to say, they then reduced the value of my gift card by 50%! I had been working on getting this resolved, had sent many messages & never received any satisfaction to my concerns & questions. FINALLY almost a full year later, I asked them to send the money back to my husband. My first visit to rA Organic Spa, I loved it so much. Everyone there was so nice. The place is beautiful and very clean. I spent about 25 min in the sauna which I love the wooden type saunas with the lava rocks that you pour the water over for steam. I feel I detox so much better with those. Thank you so much for the Thai Massage that Nattaya did for me. It was wonderful. I actually have had lower back problems since 2016 with no relief from it. This place is so cute! I came in one tune last week for a 5 layer peel facial so I don't have much experience there but I would like to post a review for them. They are located in a very convenient spot just south of Orange Grove on San Fernando, right next to Granville. I got there early, but had to check in 15 minutes before my appointment. They had me fill out and sign a waiver form and then They offered me sweets and champagne while I waited. How sweet! A lady showed me around in the back since it was my first time there. They have lots of different rooms, a sauna, lockers, showers, etc, and fake candles and sweet smells filled the hallways. The entire entire is just gorgeous and very relaxing! The lady who did my facial was awesome. The room was cute and the facial was relaxing. Since I was getting the peel facial I expected serious results like I have gotten fro other places in the past. The hour flew by and everything was great. When I was getting dressed at the end I noticed there was no mirror in the room and I found this bothersome. I wanted to fix my hair before I left and I thought I did but when I got to my car I realized I looked like a mess. Oh well! As I was paying for the facial the lady had left me 2 products to consider buying. I had wondered why she had questioned me so much about what skin care products I used as she was prepping my face. I admit I really dislike going to get massages and facials and having people try to sell my products when I just wanted to go there to relax. But I decided to give the $58 organic rye serum a try anyway and left after I paid the almost $200 bill. The next day I noticed little difference in my skin. It did appear there was a slight improvement but that dissipated the next day, unfortunately. I ended up doing a glycolic peel at home a couple days later and got the prep results I was looking for. I also tried the eye serum but the next morning I had a humongous, deep pimple appear on my forehead where I had rubbed some extra eye serum. The eye serum pump pumped out more than I needed so I thought that I would not let it go to waste by massaging it on my forehead, but clearly that was a mistake. Since I never get zits I knew it was the oil in the serum that had done it and I was reminded yet again why I buy oil free skincare products. So, overall this place is nice. The people that work here are so nice and sweet and all of them were wonderful to me! I just wish that their peel facial was stronger because I do not think I will be coming back to them for facials again. I might however try out a massage at some point and I will update my review when I do. read more

I have been to this spa many times with my wife but today was not a pleasant experience at all for many reasons. Front desk personnel was not pleasant or inviting. I asked for Q-tips after showering and the response was we don't have it anymore. They did before so not sure what changed and I didn't ask why since check in already seemed annoying and I wasn't in the mood since beginning due to just overall service behaviors from getgo. Then at the end, my wife and I came out and she asked how was it and we responded not that great to be honest. Clerk didn't even flinch. No response, nothing. Clearly she didn't care. If you don't want to know how my experience was, why ask in first place. Normally, they have hot flavored tea in multiple places in the facility as they do at Burke Williams and other Spas, so I asked can I get some tea please and the response was we don't have teem anymore due to COVID. Huh? That's buzzare. What am I going to do stick my hands in a stainless steel teapot? Again, they had it before so not sure what happened. Service was so sour of bounds not good I had to ask if there was change in ownership and I was told no, it's the same owner. So, whatever happened recently internally as far as change was not pleasant and I have lost interest in returning after being a patron for many years. As for the actual message, I was in an irritated mood so I told them I no longer want the 90 min, 60 is more than enough. However, the actual terapists were nice and message was good overall. read more

I had a 60 minute facial with Suzie. It was peaceful and purifying. Sometimes aestheticians may push to sell products after a service. I was pleased to see how honest Suzie was when she said my skin does not major concerns and I can keep using the products I have been at home. I typically enjoy lounging around before/after a treatment. But it doesn't seem that they offer that at rA Organic Spa. Pros: Reasonably priced, professional and friendly staff, relaxing/mostly quiet environment. Cons: No lounge area. Maybe because of COVID protocols. Parking can be inconvenient depending on the day/time. I didn't get a tour of the facility. I do recommend this spa, and I will be back! read more

I had an organic 5 layer peel facial with Esthetician Anit. It was my first time with this Spa and I'm so glad I get to have Anit on my first facial service. She's amazing! Not only she gave a great facial massage but she also gave a great whole upper body lymphatic massage. It was a great experience for me. She never leaves you alone while you have the mask on. She keeps on working/massaging your other areas while waiting for the facial mask to soaked in. Other Estheticians would disappear after putting your mask on, but Anit keeps giving you her magic touch. I'm coming back for sure! read more

She was so professional and also so incredibly relaxing she didn't talk too much during the service which i appreciated, she told me what she was going to do but other than that chit chat was minimal, the ambiance was so relaxing and her technique almost put me to sleep (in a good way)! I explained to her needing help with my skin and she told me exactly what to buy and what to do but nothing she recommended was outrageously expensive which i appreciated its been 2 weeks since the facial and my skin had never looked better! I received a deep tissue massage and it's only been 3 hours and my neck pain has been completely relieved. My friend took me here to get the 90 minute deep tissue massage. The staff were really nice and the massage was ok. I don't feel like it was quite enough for my deep knots, but that was probably my fault for not speaking up. Looking back, I think the staff must have thought I was frail because there's a lot of steep stairs in there and it was very dark. I made a mistake of not bringing my own sandals. They have a dressing room with lockers and require you to go change into a robe and sandals before the services. I have some balance issues and an issue with my right foot since I had a stroke 4 years ago. I can't wear high heels or flip flops any more because my right foot always feels weird. So I was having a hard time walking in the flip flops they provided and going up and down the stairs in the dark. In retrospect, I really should have mentioned this to the staff, but I just didn't want to at the time. Overall, it was a nice experience and a beautiful environment. I would just like to mention that due to the set-up of the facility, it may not be so good for those with mobility or vision issues because there are lot of steep stairs to walk up and down to get to the rooms and it is very dim and hard to see. They did increase the light for me later upon my friend's request but up to that point, I was visibly struggling and kind of clinging to the walls. I must have looked crazy to them lol. There's also a nice sauna to use after. I didn't try it, but my friend did and liked it. Overall, it was pretty good. I would recommend it to those who don't have a hard time with stairs. And if you happen to be struggling with that or anything like else, don't be like me. Speak up. read more

This review is purely for the quality of the massage and its help in easing muscle pain. rA Organic Spa is a really nice, clean, zen little spa. Everyone there is kind, and the atmosphere is great. My masseuse was sweet and welcoming, but my massage did leave me disappointed. I got in a car accident two years ago that has left me with lingering back pain. A good massage every few months helps keep my pain at bay, but can be costly. I wanted to splurge and try rA as a treat, so I communicated to the receptionist I wanted a really firm, sports medicine style massage. She recommend the firm Swedish because it was both relaxing and firm - sign me up! I reviewed my concerns with my masseuse (right scapula and neck,) but unfortunately, those were only tended to for a short period of time, and the pressure wasn't firm at all. I mentioned this during my massage, but the pressure didn't increase and my problem areas weren't given extra care. I want to clarify, the massage wasn't BAD, it was relaxing, and great for someone just looking for a stress reliever. I am just disappointed because I feel that my communication was ignored, and I took a chance and splurged on a pricier massage here vs. my cheaper spots. Usually, a good massage can lasts me months before I have to go back, but I unfortunately had zero pain relief from this one. I know massages aren't meant to completely fix problems, but I was just disappointed with the quality at a pricier location such as rA. If I hadn't had such good results at cheaper places, I wouldn't really have the frame of reference that I do. Again, my masseuse was sweet, the facility is great, but I am in pain pretty constantly, and it's discouraging to invest more money in what you think would be a higher quality massage, and not get your needs met. I'm not sure if there was an issue with my communication, but I just didn't feel like I was listened to. I've had to wait a few months before I felt comfortable to invest in another massage, and I think I will be going back to my usual spots. Hopefully someday I can give them another chance! read more

I loved this spa. The sauna was excellent and it was nice to take one before the massage and facial I had booked. There is also a quiet lounge room where you can relax before or after treatment. Free Parking is available around the block for three hours so that took that headache away. Staff were knowledgeable and low key- qualities I appreciate. "Time to get up, Valerie. It's over"... is what my masseuse was thinking, I'm sure. The oils and the pressure she used added these warm sensations of complete bliss all over. Mmmmmmm. I just simply can't find the words to describe this. And when the hot stones jumped into the picture, My LORD! My head shot up to look my masseuse directly in the face in pure awe of her capabilities. Was she MAGICAL OR SOMETHING!? The English language sucks, cause there are no words to describe that massage. I went 20 minutes before appointment time, have a chance to use hot sauna which is pretty great. There are multiple rooms that you can hang out and relax. Free water, tea and fruits. You're literally at peace and relaxed the moment you walk in. I arrived 15 min early as instructed when I booked my Brazilian wax appointment. I've had Brazilians done before but this was my first time at this spa. Natalie was kind enough to personally show me where the restrooms were and offered tea or water. They have fruits as well if you want some kind of snack. I then waited till my aesthetician, Maria, was ready for me. When Maria was ready, she greeted me and made my whole experience super comfortable. She's very sweet as well and very easy to talk to. This is by far the most pain-free experience I've ever had! I booked a Swedish massage and Signature facial with Jasmine & Jessica and the were equally amazing! I don't remember which person did which service (forgive me) but I loved the entire experience from start to finish. The Swedish massage was extremely relaxing to the point I fell asleep. Every tense muscle was tended to and I felt like I had a brand new body, seriously! I needed a massage after suffering from back pain for the past few weeks and I felt instant relief after my session. My masseuse J, (because I don't know if it were Jasmine or Jessica), massaged my face! My face! I never had that happened before and it was freeing! My once neglected facial muscles were just as surprised as I were. During my facial, I was asked about my skin care routine and was given tips on how to tweak it for optimal results. I was also recommended products that would help combat issues like hyper-pigmentation and seasonal dryness. My facial was just as calming as my massage and I was impressed with the level of service I received. I also received a paraffin treatment which left my hands feeling brand spanking new. The facility is huge, but not like where the hell is everything. It's huge in regards to depth versus width. I got a very cozy and inviting vibe. Things to note: Parking is easy to find.
