I have eaten here several times over the past few years and the food is consistently good. The selections on the weekend lunch buffet are exceptional especially the lamb and the shrimp dishes. RaaSa is among our favorite Indian restaurants. We've eaten here many times and always love it. Tonight, my wife and I shared a Lasuni Gobi appetizer, which is perfectly crisp-fried with an awesome sweet and spicy sauce. I enjoyed a Lamb Gassi main and my wife loved her okra dish. The paratha was a great addition. RaaSa has been unusually empty during these strange COVID times (about 10% of capacity), although I noticed a handful of take-out orders heading out the door. They kept the blower on low and we felt very safe while indoors now that it has gotten cold. The waitstaff were all with masks and gloves, and they spaced guests out around the restaurant as far apart as they could. Bottom line ... delicious Indian with what feels like a safe dining out environment. We come often and will continue to do so. read more

The buffet used to be good but today's experience was quite disappointing. Biryani was all bones with almost no meat. The chicken tikka masala had 10 very dry stale pieces of chicken. Other dishes seemed like they had been sitting out there for a while and were crusting over. Not appetizing you say the least. When we asked the staff said they were bringing our fresh food. The second time we were told they were unable to bring out fresh food as it gets dry on the buffet table. By the time we left nothing had been refreshed. Disappointing experience. read more

Fantastic restaurant! Have always had a good experience here and all the food is always delicious. The staff is attentive and on top of everything-always making sure your water glass is full. I eat mostly vegetarian and the Aloo Gobi and Sag Paneer are both excellent and their Naan bread is perfect. The inside of the restaurant is nicely decorated and very clean-it has bright and welcoming colors with nice Indian art on the wall. The prices are very fair too compared to other Indian restaurants and they have an ample parking lot as well. The best items are : plain Nan ( so good they are good on their own ) , milk tea ( smooth , so good without sugar ) , fish paneer ( everyone going for it ) and the rice pudding ( not sweet at all ). I order the Mango Lassi: It is made from yogurt, water and mango pulp. It may be made with or without additional sugar. Mango lassi is a cold drink consisting of sweetened kesar mango pulp mixed with yogurt, cream, or ice cream. Kind of pricey but good. I also order the Biryani is a mixed rice dish from the Indian Subcontinent. It is made with spices, rice and meat or vegetables in this opportunity a choose chicken. This also come with a good salad, I also order some naan that is a leavened, oven-baked flatbread nothing special about this disk, i only like the taste. They were kind to give us a free a Kheer: is a South Asian rice pudding made by boiling rice, broken wheat, tapioca, or vermicelli with milk and sugar; it is flavoured with cardamom, raisins, saffron, cashew nuts, pistachios or almonds. The experience here was so amazing I don't know where to start. We came here for a Sunday buffet brunch and everything was fresh and tasted just really great. Buffet food was all fresh, despite it was well after 2PM. Immediately upon seating a freshly baked basket of naan is brought to our table. Buffet is $17 for Sunday and $15 for Saturday. We came on Sunday and was worth every penny. This is the Indian place that we've been searching for all these years, we will definitely come back for more. So happy you are in the neighborhood! We went yesterday to celebrate our family event and came to RAASA where we go periodically for indian food. It is THE BEST indian restaurant in the area and maybe in Tri-State area. We had Abiya Tikki, Samsa Chat and many other appetizers. All taste differently, with different set of spices and texture. The rest was a heaven of lamb with multiple spices, spinach dish, etc. What is even better in this place is an absence of loud music. Sometimes they have nice indian quiet music, sometimes no music. My wife and I decided to go for Indian while the boys were at hockey last night. This area doesn't have a lot of good Indian, and we'd never tried RaaSa plus it was near the arena - perfect! Quiet for a Thursday, though it was relatively early. The decor is simple and classy, the service - attentive and prompt. We were both in a lamb kinda mood, and opened with their Keema samosa. The pastry was flaky, and the filling tasty and not dry (key for a good samosa!). I had their signature lamb shank, which was fall off the bone tender in a spicy, aromatic sauce. My wife opted for the tandoori lamb chops which came out perfectly cooked. She couldn't finish them (5 in the serving!), so I had to 'help'! Everything was very well prepared and delivered. I decided to checkout this spot for lunch and was very impressed! They have an appealing lunch menu that runs $11 for chicken dishes and I ordered my staple favorite - chicken tikka masala. The lunch box came in 4 compartments with fresh hot naan bread and dessert on the side. The chicken was very juicy and tender and the sauce was so delicious - very rich, flavorful and spiced just right. The lentils were aromatic and smooth. The side of basmati rice was cooked just right and a good accompaniment to the tikka masala sauce. The naan bread was fresh, soft and doughy and perfect for dipping in the sauce. The dessert was some type of rice pudding (I am unsure of the name unfortunately) it came in a small round container and was very tasty - not too sweet. It was creamy, had some plump raisins and nuts and a nice ending ending to a delicious lunch. I will definitely be back! read more

Had dinner on 10/28/2019 Ordered Garlic naan, Chicken Tikka Masala Aloo Gobi, Chocolate Soufflé Garlic naan - good but not extraordinary Tikka Masala - one of the best I've had! delicious! The chicken tandoori was tender and a little smoky. Not enough chicken though! Aloo gobi - stingy on the portion, too many potatoes (cheaper ingredient) and not enough of the cauliflower! The flavors were on point though. Would order again minus the potatoes. Chocolate soufflé - the core was not molten and the chocolate didn't have the deep flavors you would find in Valhrona chocolate. Could not help compare with Whole Foods chocolate cake because they use that chocolate. The rose cream was wonderful though. Overall, satisfied but the portions were too small compared to the price. Had tried a few other Indian restaurants in the area and would say this is one of the best in the area. Everything we got was great, especially the chicken korma and garlic naan. Service and speed were excellent, but we had an early dinner so the restaurant was not very crowded when we walked in (it was when we walked out). The prices seem a few dollars too high for chicken entrees but the restaurant had a nice ambiance and the workers/owner were friendly, so we found it worth the money. Hideous experience. Went to celebrate a birthday with my family, and I'll always regret it. The food is fine, but the staff went beyond unfriendly to actively hostile. Without exception, everyone working in the restaurant seemed to be angry that we were there. The lunch buffet is amazing. Loved the Rogan Josh. Also the dessert were not overly sweet. Generally Indian restaurants make unhealthy food which won't be spicy but still ruin your stomach. The food has always been delicious so we tried the delivery service today. Delivery is TERRIBLE and when you call they hang up on you. I ordered the food at 4:30 for 5:45 delivery. Received a text saying they received the order. Received subsequent texts that the food was coming and it was going to arrive at 5:35. It is now 6:15 and when I call they say the food "has left" but cannot/will not contact the driver to find out what happened between 5:35 and 6:15. And they have hung up three times. They should not give you the option of choosing a delivery time if it has no meaning. read more
