The facility was clean. Procedure went smoothly. The staff prepped our son and had a shusher sound machine to play during the procedure. My husband and I were there to sooth our son during the process. I have a beautiful, healthy 5 year old boy, who met Dr. Kogen when he was just 10 days old. I was referred to him by Nicole Foster of Birthfit Southbay for my son's circumcision. She used his services for her son and gave me some peace of mind regarding the process, and at that time, came to our home (not sure if he does that anymore). We called him, went over the process and immediately felt at ease. When he showed up, he went over the process again, and could tell we were a little nervous...what parent isn't! He assured us that it would be over quickly, and that it's just a matter of comfort and good aftercare to make our little guy feel better. Rabbi Shalom was the 2nd review of clients I read through, I liked what I seen in reviews so I called him. He returned my call and we talked about the procedure and what it entails. As a mom I was like a cut?! What?! Rabbi assured me of his instructions and how his ceremonial procedures are safe, clean, and effective . I agreed for services and the Rabbi asked what city I lived in, and it just so happened that he had business in my city the next day, and another day the following week. I chose the next day since my son was on the cusp of his cut off. My son's Paw-paw was their to assist with the procedure and he did not see anything wrong with what was done, and that says ALOT for my father. The 3 rd day of healing is tomorrow and the healing process is coming along great! I picked Dr. Greenberger because he was very calm and explained his process well while we were shopping around. He also held a spot on his calendar for us during that time. When we called to confirm with him, he sent a very detailed list of things we needed to prepare in advance and was quick to respond to emails. The day of the bris, he was punctual, polite, and did a great job with the circumcision and ceremony. We got many compliments from attendees on our mohel selection.
