I've been buying cars for 40 years. It's worse than going to the dentist, very long and painful…read more In all my years, I have NEVER had a good experience as I have had recently with Carlos at Freehold Subaru. The first time we went there, I told Carlos exactly what I wanted, with no bullshit. At this point in my life I don't need any bullshit. He got it and delivered. It took 1 hour and I ordered my car. I took delivery of my new car yesterday. It couldn't have gone any smoother. The whole process took 1 hour, that's it. I got the car I wanted, at a reasonable price, I got a big trade-in value on my other car, Carlos was very sweet, knowledgeable, professional...I can't thank him enough for his excellent service. I highly recommend you give Carlos at Freehold Subaru a shot, you won't be disappointed.

STOP CALLING ME RACHEL!…read more I made the mistake of looking up a vehicle price on Kelly Blue Book. I have been bombarded with phone calls, text messages, and email from Rachel at Freehold Subaru. I asked Rachel nicely to stop texting/calling/emailing. She sassed me the first time telling me that "she only called once!". Well now we are at least 5 phone calls in plus multiple texts which have been stopped and emails. I wrote to the GM to ask that they stop contacting me. I promised them that if they continued to contact me that I would flood the internet with bad reviews of Freehold Subaru. Rachel just phoned me again. STOP CONTACTING ME. I will never do business with you pushy, PIAs.

Brandon a sales mgr greeted me and I told him what I was looking for and at what price. That's usually a deal breaker. However he showed me a Impreza hatchback in red and it was the first car in the price category that had any style.Sat with Randy the sales man and after a few minutes of talking Brandon had appraised my trade in and presented me with a deal that was unbelievable Almost to the dollar of what my budget was I am now driving a beautiful brand new car with great features that are unattainable at the deal I got I shopped used and new and a new car with a warranty and all the bells and whistles I wanted are what Brandon and Randy put together Financial department was a breeze unlike most other dealerships. I was highly impressed with how this dealership worked hard to get the best value for my price range This should be the first and last place you should look at when purchasing a car in a particular price range

Dear Mr. Hausnann,…read more This letter is to memorialize and request your written confirmation regarding the ongoing repairs to the infotainment system, navigation system through Apple CarPlay, rear camera viewing on such infotainment system, and the crackling of the speaker system. This vehicle described above was leased and picked up from Ray Catena Audi of Freehold on or about June 12, 2026. From the moment it was picked up we had issues with the phone connecting to the car and once connected disconnecting from Apple CarPlay while driving. This created an unsafe driving situation as when we were relying on the navigation while driving on the highway or New York City, the phone would disconnect and we would have no idea where we were going. Additionally, the screen would suddenly go dark while we were driving and the only way to get the screen back was to reset the system while driving. This also created a dangerous driving condition. Once the system rebooted, the phones would have to be reinstalled on to the system and every time the system would reboot, or we would get in the vehicle it was like "Ground Hog Day" with the system resetting and everything having to be reprogrammed. This also created a dangerous driving condition. Furthermore, the infotainment screen would be prone to just go dark and if we were in reverse, we could not longer use the rear camera while going in reverse. Yet another dangerous driving condition. I called the dealer to complain on several occasions and spoke to Jack Scribellito who walked me through several steps to try and troubleshoot the system. When it could not be corrected an appointment was made for service of the vehicle. On Friday, August 14, 2026, a representative from Ray Catena drove to my house and dropped off a loaner car, a 2026 Audi Q3, for us use and took the above vehicle to Ray Catena service to have the system corrected. On or about August 18, 2026, I spoke to Billy Hausnann, our service representative, who told me that the issue was more complicated than expected and that it required the matter to be upgraded for Audi corporate in Germany as only they could fix the programming which needed to be repaired. I was told that this should be done within a day or two. On Friday, August 21, 2026, I again called Billy Hausnann (twice) and was told that they still had not heard from Audi in Germany and that it could take some time. I must add that in describing their attempts to get in touch with Audi in Germany, I was told that it is not easy as they are "far away". Now last I checked, getting in touch with Europe is not like getting in touch with a remote part of Antarctica. I was told to keep the loaner car through the weekend and that it should be fixed by Monday, August 24, 2026, or Tuesday, August 25, 2026. It is now Tuesday, August 25, 2026, and having not heard from Billy Hausnann, I decided to call him. I was told he was out to lunch, and he would call me later. By copy of this email, I would also request to be provided with the address of Audi Corporate so I can get my certified letter prepared and ready to send to them. To say this vehicle and the response of Ray Catena Audi of Freehold is a disappointment would be a total understatement. Prior to leasing this Audi I had five Infiniti vehicles and the only time they were brought in for service was when it was a regular maintenance service. We are now on day twelve (12) of this vehicle being in for service and there is still no answer on when or how the vehicle will be repaired. I intend to post this letter today and update every day on each website I can warning people about the Audi Q3 and the lack of responsiveness from this dealership. As I previously stated I have leased five Infiniti vehicles from a Ray Catena dealership and this level of service is an embarrassment to his name and legacy.

I also told him that our intention was to come back on Saturday, 7/11, to purchase the car from the place where we could secure the bet deal. First the good- Jace was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable on the car, and was able to answer any question that I had regarding the features of the car. Especially for someone so new, he knew his stuff. The bad- Eventually Brian, the sales manager, joined us. He immediately asked why I was there while my husband was at a different dealer. He then compared me coming there to a Bad Date, and referred to it as "icky". He went on to explain that he was interested in selling cars to people based on building a relationship, and not based on providing the best price. (Which, OK... but kinda counter intuitive on the relationship part after comparing me to an "Icky Bad Date") Even after this, I still stayed, as I then shared with Jace that I was actually interested in purchasing two cars on Saturday. The Sante Fe and an Ioniq 5. Only after Brian became aware of our intent to purchase two vehicles did he agree to discuss numbers with me, but would still not walk me through anything substantial. I left shortly after Brian said to me "When you come back on Saturday, I'll try not to insult your intelligence". I have purchased a car from Freehold Hyundai in the past (which they knew). I left that night feeling gross after being treated the way I was by Brian. I would buy a car any day of the week from Jace, but I will not be returning to Freehold Hyundai due to the way I was treated by Brian.

It started with the super friendly receptionist, Phyllis, who welcomed us and offered us bagels, crumb cake and coffee. Nice start to a good experience. They assigned us to our salesman Jim who was professional and friendly. When I told him what I was looking for in the Rogue, he knew exactly what SUV I was interested in - all black. So he set up a test drive and away we went. There was no set test drive route so I got to drive anywhere I wanted to test out this awesome new vehicle. This Rogue was the Midnight edition and man she was sweet!! Got back to the showroom and decided I wanted it. We then went to speak with Carl, the finance manager. What a character!! We never laughed so much and he was super efficient and professional. They let me take the car home that day and we returned the following day with a bank check for the deposit. Oksana gave us a very informative overview of the Rogue's features and was sweet and professional. Overall an excellent experience with nothing negative to say! I don't get all these bad reviews and I'm thinking they are fake. This is a super clean and professional dealership and I highly recommend it for your car buying needs.
