Rad Rides has been my go to shop for everything. If I can't do something they have been the shop I solely rely on. My first big job with them was my air suspension job for my Tesla Model Y. They are known to be one of the best in socal and I am glad I went with them. They also did other work like my control arms, studs, and electrical work. They have also been great with post service work. I had an issue with the air suspension ECU and they walked me through everything to check while I was stuck in SD. They have also helped me do a track prep on my mini race car. They welded in my roll bar, did some control arms, bushings, ABS brake bleed, gauges, and electrical work. The can do everything really. I brought my model 3 to Rad Rides to get some mountain pass performance items installed and looked at. Getting an appointment was easy. I spoke with Steven, told him my situation, and was able to get a spot the same week. The shop location is inside a whole complex of other auto part shops. They have a two garage setup where work can get done. I felt out of place seeing as there was a modified NSX being worked on, another custom model 3, and then a GT-R and mustang all decked out. I'm there with my stock looking model 3, just lowered haha. Anyways, I had them lower the coilovers which were installed at another place and also installed front upper control arms. I provided them how much of a drop I wanted with measurements and they seemed keen to following what I wanted. While doing all of this they also delivered my car to get an alignment done at a lower cost which was a nice gesture. Steven kept me in the loop the whole time which was great. With my G37, there's a dime a dozen of mechanics that you can go to. With the model 3, not so much, so I'm very skeptical. Car parts should all fit the same, but still, it's a risk. With that said, I feel Rad Rides was competent enough and they do quality custom work for other cars. Anything can happen, but it's a lower risk here. My only gripe would be the lack of invoicing and records. Coming from other shops, I would get an invoice showing what was done, pay with credit card or cash and sign something. This place would prefer Venmo, not really setup for cash, didn't get an invoice the first time around. Just weird. Also lack of mask wearing while we're in this pandemic. Other than that, the entrance to the place has an upward climb, so if your car is lowered definitely take your time and angle it or you will regret it. read more

I brought my 2018 Ford F-150 Limited 4wd into them with an appointment to install shocks and struts, new springs in the front and shackles in the back. After I got there, I dropped a bomb on them and asked if they could install an auto leveling air ride kit and sway bar on the rear and then some bolt on modifications like an intercooler, throttle body spacer, new blow off valve, CAI, new downpipe with cats, exhaust and turbo flanges. Because they are very busy they were not excited about it but they accommodated me and helped me out. I am very grateful. They are professional and the work turned out excellent. After about a week, there was a problem with the air ride system. This was not a fault of their installation but a manufacturer problem. While towing 12,000 pounds, the vehicle left me stranded because the suspension was on the ground. I brought the truck back to them without notice and they fit me in immediately and provided a temporary repair so I could be on my way in 30 minutes while I scheduled an appointment to get it fixed properly a week later. To say that they are accommodating is an understatement. The shop obviously has a reputation for doing quality work among their peers in the industry. I did not find the shop. I reached out to Extensive Metalworks in Texas from the show Texas Metal to have some work done. Because of their schedule they recommended a shop closer to me in Phoenix Arizona and in turn, they recommended Rad Rides. Even in an industry as large as the automotive industry, if you do good work you will be recognized. read more

Great experience with the crew over at Rad Rides. I brought my car in for a trunk setup and a new compressor, and all work was done thoroughly and professionally. The staff was responsive, friendly, helpful, and they kept me in the loop while my car was getting worked on. They even went the extra mile and cleaned up some botched wiring from a prior owner. Though this place is a bit a ways away from me, it's definitely worth the drive, and I'll definitely be bringing my other cars here FIRST for any air suspension work. read more

Lets start off by saying this has to be one of the most professional shops in the industry... yes I said THE INDUSTRY. From custom air ride installations with 1 of a kind kits to basic service maintenance done, I DO NOT TRUST ANY OTHER SHOP THEN RAD RIDES. Roy & his team are very keen eye for perfection and will not do a half a$$ job on your vehicle like other shops in the area have done. I have had my car aligned at a "alignment shop" in the area and after a while I heard some clunks and scrapes, Patrick and Roy pulled me in on an emergency appointment and figured the "alignment shop" had put too much camber on the vehicle causing the strut to make contact with the wheel. Roy and Pat helped addressed this issue and fixed it and all I can say is they are the pro's in this industry. Yes I have read "Jerrid B" BS statement he posted and I can tell you just from reading his review, he is by far VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and doesn't understand proper business policies. Great people are hard to come by. Roy and Pat are the best in what they do. Will attend to your needs whether it be a spring install, coilover install, suspension component install, and airbag/airsuspension install. They've worked on my Lexus IS F and Toyota Supra. Lexus ISF needed recalibration for my Airlift suspension since it came from Hawaii. Also had Figs Eng. rear control arms, adjust toe arms, camber arms, and rca bushing installed by them. Then on my Toyota Supra, Pat installed my RSR down sus springs. There's nothing else I can say but to TAKE YOUR CAR THERE PERIOD. read more

Was referred to this shop by a friend in the car community. They were just starting up but they seem to do a little bit of everything and take your customization needs as far as you can dream to. I got coilovers brakes and lines turbo back exhaust short throw shifter and some lower control arms installed. While my mods were relatively modest in comparison to some of the awesome work I've seen pass through the shop what i really valued and appreciated was that Steven and the guys all treated me very well as a customer.
