Paneer Paratha
Sreenidhi V.

Methi Malai Paneer was really good and creamy, it went well with the rotis which were themselves very soft. Paneer Paratha was very filling and nicely stuffed. Crispy at the edges and made it taste really good (bonus, their vegetable pickle is also really good) Undiyu Poori was a treat to see on the menu, not a lot of places serve it around here and it definitely took us back to the undhiyu we would each growing up. Definitely recommend

I was craving thali one evening and decided to stop by Radhe Chat in Sunnyvale since it was close by. Located on one end of El Camino, which doesn't have a lot of parking, so be prepared to wait for a spot if it's busy. I ordered the Gujarati thali with chaas but was a bit disappointed. The dish was bland, and they forgot to serve the chaas. The restaurant was very loud and crowded, and the service felt slow. They could probably benefit from quicker table turnovers. The menu is in English but doesn't include pictures, which could make it challenging for non-Indian customers who might not be familiar with some of the dishes. However, they do offer free chai, and the chaat dishes looked amazing! I'm planning to give it another try and explore more of the menu since I think they have a lot of potential but are just falling a bit short right now.

Great undhiyu - lots of veggies and tasty! Cabbage chili was bland, and only received 12oz - expected better for $13. Karela was incredible - but again 12oz only. Order was easy to find and pickup.

I have been here before Covid and found their food very good. I decided to try their chats. Their service is quick and the place has plenty of seating with complimentary masala chai. The dishes were tasty though I felt it could do with a slight spice. Overall it was a bit sweet for my taste but I liked it. The cutlets are really aloo tikkies and I wouldn't order again. But the rest I would definitely recommend.

Got to be the place to try out for Methi Roti, Paneer Parathas. They keep the consistency so good on their rotis. Lot of other items need to try, but highly recommend Methi Roti for sure. They are one of the few places who keep their restaurant clean and neat all the time. Not a very divey place, but we always grab to-go orders.

Bhel Thali

I used to frequent this place at their previous location before the fire accident and would always order the dal baati. It was my first time visiting at their new location and I eagerly looked for the dal baati but was told they don't serve it anymore. So we decided on the Bhel thali and a few orders of chana batura along with samosa chaat. Across the board the dishes were delicious. Not the best I ever had category but very decent. I personally got the Bhel thali, the Bhel was a tantalizing flavor mix and the seasonal pomegranates they put on top lent a nice tart kick. The thali also came with dal, two curries, two roties, rice and pappad. The dal was light and tasty. The curries were also not overpowered by excessive spices. I can definitely see myself coming back again.

We have recently been their regular customers. Softest rotis, amazing curries. Their Sabudhana Vada is the best!! Their chai is sooo good

Masala Chaat

Great homestyle North Indian food & Chaat. Loved our Masala chaat & Thali. The Chai needs a special mention cause we went in on a cold evening and it was amazing from the first sip. Maybe complimentary (?) but they let us take another cup on our way out. Yay

We picked paneer parantha and hara bhara parantha. They were very tasty - good stuffing, not oily, well cooked.

After our failed attempt going to T&T market ( the line was almost Disneyland rope drop-esque) we…read morestill wanted to try that purple rice burrito and through Yelp we found sogo which wasn't too far. It's located in a small strip mall and is a small little mom and pop shop full of vegetarian buns and soups. They didn't have anymore of the purple rice burritos but they had a white rice one so we got one along with a huge chive bun. The rice burrito was absolutely delicious, I wasn't sure what to except but it was packed with flavor and i especially liked the egg they had rolled around it. We plan to go again sometime to try other of the items. Definitely a place to check out

I think the fan tuan ratio could have a little less rice but that's an easy fix. I also often get their bean curd strips salad 涼拌乾絲. The pastries are okay, I do think those can be slightly too much bread/dough ratio too. Still, pretty cool that it's a vegetarian spot with lots of options. Plus, this is one of the few places that serves fan tuan even during weekdays. Service is straightforward, you order and pay at the counter. It's a pick up place but they have a small table for a quick bite.

The quantities are large and can be easily shared. Now soy chaap is one of the most unhealthy foods one can consume. It's made of processed oils, all purpose flour and bit of soy. But, it's widely consumed by vegetarians these days as an alternative to meat due to its meat like texture. I had some really outstanding soy chaap from a place in Fremont and haven't been able to find anything else that comes close to it. The version here though decent fell short on the flavor. The smoky aftertaste was kind of missing. The chow mein on the other hand was beautifully done. I can see why this place is rated so high.

Portions are 5/5, big enough to share. Fresh factor is 4/5, you can tell the bhalle have been batch frozen and then used, something I completely understand and agree with, because it wouldn't make sense to make fresh bhalle everyday. Taste 10/5 , flavors are big and engage your taste buds that really get you that satisfaction of eating a chaat item. Location: right on El Camino Real in a parking lot, but I imagine you park in the lots on either side is it get busy here on weekends. There are two large tables set up but one could always eat by your car too. Guy taking orders and making them is polite and soft spoken. And it's definitely a fun experience to pull up here late at night. Gonna go back and try the momos and burgers next.
