Brandon had the parts needed for the repair in his van and the price was very fair. Brandon had the fix completed and the system back up and running within 1/2 an hour! I did a lot of research before deciding on Radiant Water to be the company to install my water purifier (Catalytic Carbon to remove chorine and chloramines - which eat away at your pipes if you have the Irvine Ranch Water - I don't want anymore pinhole leaks!) and water softener (I am so excited to have soft water for my hair, skin and also so my faucets don't look awful with all the hard water build up) and I am super happy with my decision! I inherited a water conditioning system with my home purchase that decided to have issues within 7 months of purchasing the home. I did a lot of research on the issue & called a few companies for quotes including the company that had previously worked on the unit with the previous owner. Seemed like the going theme was that companies that work on these machines don't want to come work on them just do to a few hundred dollar repair, they usually want to upsell you into a whole new system or a pricier repair. When I talked to Pat about the issue it was a completely different vibe as he was more than willing to repair the valve which would have been in the $200 to $300 range. He continued to talk to me & answered my questions & in the end confirmed that an upgraded valve & possibly new resin was the best option & would basically give me a whole new system at a fraction of the cost. The day of Ryan came to do the install, called prior to his arrival & was professional, courteous, & did in my opinion, an expert install refreshing my system for the next 10-15 years. He also spent a lot of time with me after going over all of my questions & showing me the system & confirmed that I should be good for the next decade & more. He made the install a breeze, cleaned up after & overall did a very clean install. Needed a new under sink water filtration system and based on the other outstanding reviews, I reached out to Pat and his crew at Radiant Water. They were able to come out the day after I called and do a very clean installation of a reverse osmosis filtration system. Our pipes were jerry rigged in a strange way by the previous owner so the first installer who came did what work he could do given the weird configuration. The water filter worked fine but Pat had another tech come out later that same day to reconfigure the piping and he only charged for the parts to do so. This is a long overdue review. If you are searching for a full house water filitration system call Pat and Ryan at Radiant Water in Orange Ca. I interviewed 5-6 different companies before I met Pat and Ryan at Radiant Water. I knew right away after having conversations with them they thoroughly understood water systems and I knew they were not out to scam me like so many of the companies I interviewed. Pat was extremely fair and we came to an agreement and the work was performed by Ryan, Pats technician. I have been in the trades for many years and have seen it all. There are so many scam contractors that don't care and just want to get it done as fast as they can and get out of there. Not Ryan, he is a perfectionist that takes a lot of pride in his work. He takes his time to do it right the first time and is a high level craftsman when it comes to plumbing and his trade of water filtration systems. He is extremely knowledgeable about product and installation and highly skilled in mechanical systems and he enjoys his work. He installed two whole house Catalytic Carbon filter systems and two whole house water softener systems and two reverse osmosis systems and additional copper piping, and he did it perfectly with no flaws, I am not exaggerating, Ryan's work is literally a work of art. All the solder joints were prepped with care and were all soldered perfectly. All of the copper pipes were cut perfectly to length and all level and straight and mounted securely. Even his wiring work is extremely detailed and done with perfection. I forgot to mention I was so frustrated after interviewing so many companies prior to meeting Pat and Ryan that I called the manufacturer that makes the water equipment systems and asked for a recommendation of who he would recommend to sell me the equipment and install it properly. That person I talked to was the owner of the manufacturing company and he told me he had his house system installed by Radiant Water because he knew they were the best water filtration contractors in California. Trust the reviews! I am getting ready to have my garage remodeled, and part of the remodel was putting my water softener in a cabinet so to keep the garage all uniform. I was waiting to have water softener and home filtration installed after the floors were done,...sadly my old softener took a dump and had to be replaced immediately. I did all kinds of research and contacted about 10 different companies and yes, the quotes were all over the place. Most were pretty well within a few hundred dollars. After speaking to so many it was time to call on Radiant Water. I called, left a message and Pat called me back in a short time. In talking with Pat, something was very different with him than with the other companies and or their owners. Pat was just very honest, personable and wasn't pushy and didn't try and sell me the world like a used car salesman. Radiant Water has been around for quite a while, and to me that was impressive. While talking to Pat he just simply explained everything in an easy to understand way. We talked about all the different "stuff" that goes inside a water softener filter combo. He quoted me a super competitive price, but what nailed it for me was their warranty, 10 years parts and labor. Absolutely nobody I called even came close to that. They would give like a year on labor then utilize the manufacture warranty of 5 or 10 years but not for their labor. I was sold. Pat was able to squeeze me in (called on Tuesday) on Friday morning. Fast forward to Friday, Ryan and Dave showed up on time and ready to go. They removed the old unit out and installed the new unit in a better place for us for now, they installed a the unit in no time. The best part is they have a bypass that I'll be able to close valve remove and take unit out next week while our floors are being done, and they also installed a flex hose so when our cabinets are ready we will be able to lift the unit some and install inside cabinet with ease. A hose bib was also installed on discharge line of unit so our cars can be washed with softened filtered water. Honestly you can't ask for anything more. Pat, Ryan and Mike were absolutely outstanding. There is a reason Radiant Water has been around for so long, they just provide the kind of service you just rarely find nowadays.
