Highly recommended, Tim did a great job selling/installing a water softener for me at a fair price. I did my research and was set on buying a clack softener. We already have a whole house filter sold to us by someone else under the guise of being a salt-free softener...which is not a thing nor does it do that. When I told Tim, he asked how long ago it was bought, what the warranty was and specifically said "well we should keep it there, you should absolutely get your money's worth on it" and he installed in series after the filter. I spoke with multiple other dealers and two of them tried to get me to remove a perfectly functional water filter to sell me a new one in addition to the softener. So basically, he was honest, did the job, gave me a fair price, answered his phone when I had questions, followed up and was a legit good person to chat with and have in my home. Complete let down. Bought his product one year ago. He told me it had to be serviced annually. I called and called and called leaving message, I texted, and texted and texted (to the owner, who would say things like, let me get to my office and I'll call you right away) I explained due to construction on our home, we were under a very tight schedule. No call back, no text. We ended up call So Cal Water who immediately came out, replaced the filters and were excellent. Water guy-- you really dropped the call on this one. Wanted to charge me $150 to come look at my water softener. Everyone else came out to give me a free quote. This is how terrible this guy is. He says he cannot believe someone would come to give me a free estimate when I had 3 different plumbers come out for free. Your policy is terrible and so is your service. I would put the name of the plumbing company that I used but I do not want this review to be removed by mentioning a competitor. Hate to leave a bad review but Tim installed our water heater and completely ghosted me afterward. He said if I ever needed anything after install to call him.... well I have patiently tried to get in touch with him for three months now and he doesn't return my calls or texts. So I would say if you get an install from and he promises you a warranty or to change filters afterward, I wouldn't rely on that happening unfortunately. read more

We appreciated that he took the time to come look at our water softener system, assess our needs and provide pricing for repair or a new system, based on the route we wanted to take. He was very communicative - even called to let us know he was running a little late and if that was ok. He really took his time going around our home to see where the system was funneling and where the issue was, and proving suggestions in such a caring fashion rather than just saying "here's a quote for a new system, yours is old" like all the other technicians we reached out to did. I found Tim here on Yelp. I requested a quote and he responded quickly, with an actual amount based on the number of people in my household and the square footage of my house. The other companies I contacted wouldn't even give me a ballpark number without coming to the house. I have 2 small children at home, so it can be difficult to talk on the phone at times - this was not a problem for Tim. We did some communication via text and via messages on Yelp. His pricing was incredibly fair based on what I had heard my family paid for their systems. He was running a little late, but he did great communicating with me what was going on. When he arrived he was super personable and easy to talk to. His philosophy was, I'm not here to take advantage of people. Can't say enough great things about Tim and the level of service and professionalism he provided. Tim doesn't just show up and get the job done, you can tell that he really cares about his craft and people's health when it comes to the water that families use. We had a great discussion about how California barely has legally acceptable tap water, but I didn't even know that now they put additional chemicals into the water which I do not want my family or my dogs drinking. Tim is a great guy and very knowledgable about all types of water purification and filtration systems. And a complete package of annual replacement filters for about $55. These guys charge a minimum of $229 for annual service. And if something they didn't fix during their "complete service package" goes wrong they charge you additional fees to come out and fix what they failed to fix. read more

Full disclosure I didn't end up needing Tim's services but I felt compelled to leave this review because he was so incredibly responsive and communicative. BEWARE, BEWARE! I contacted Tim, the owner, regarding a low water stream from a highly rated reverse osmosis(RO)system I purchased from Costco that supplies water to my refrigerator water dispenser. Tim recommended a dedicated additional water tank which he installed at a price equal to what I paid for the whole RO system. He installed the water tank and I noticed obvious standing water on the bottom of the sink cabinet within 2 days where he installed the tank. He had mentioned to my wife he saw signs of a leak from a dishwasher hose and he had tightened the clamp to the dishwasher hose and he saw no visible leaks. It wasn't until I told him he would be responsible for any water damage incurred that he responded to me. He had me turn the water off and he came out the next day and fixed the leak which I was grateful for. I also contacted him to let him know that the water stream from the refrigerator was still low. He then suggested 3-4 options including purchasing a whole new RO system that was 2 times what I paid for the Costco RO system. I told him that I felt like I was having to pay for his experimentation as he did not give me confidence that he knew how to fix my problem with the system. I asked him if he was going to deduct what I already paid him for the additional tank since I wouldn't be needing now if I purchased the new RO system from him. He has never responded. I expected much more from him especially with the many stellar reviews I had read on Yelp. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM AND WON'T BE USING HIM AGAIN. BEWARE, BEWARE!!! After writing the above review I was contacted by Tim. He is now offering to install his RO system deducting what I've already paid him and to return to him the tank I purchased. After consideration I felt most comfortable to NOT take him up on his offer. I don't believe you have to write a unfavorable review or remind him he would be responsible for water damage in order for him to act. read more

I had a good experience with Tim. He's probably not the cheapest out there but he was the only guy who was willing to call me back and service an RO filter system that he didn't install. It looks like most shops out there only want to do new installations and not bother with filter replacements. Wow! Tim is awesome! We have been dealing with a slow leak under our sink for a while now and it finally got so bad we needed to get help. Tim was kind enough to squeeze us in last minute. He helped determine the root of the problem (there were a few but the biggest concern was the spigot for our RO water filter).
