This place is so LOUD that the meal experience was totally ruined. The food might have been the best in Breckenridge this week. So disappointing that the place is NOISY, even with an early dinner reservation. Anyway this Northern Italian restaurant had killer Focaccia that melted in our mouths --what a great way to start. The salads were fresh, delicious and large. We shared the very expensive Red Snapper, which turned out to be only half a fish with the head. It was perfectly pan seared, beautifully presented and perfectly seasoned and cooked. Wonderful fish. An Exceptional wine list, specializing in Italian varietals. Comfortable seating. Very good friendly service. Overall this was such a disappointing place that will be remembered for the cacophony of loud noise and not the wonderful cooking. Would not go back unless they install some extensive sound or noise suppression.

Everything we ordered was fantastic, probably my favorite meal in Breckenridge. The snapper is shareable and was perfectly prepared. Not bland or overly seasoned, just right. The burrata was also fantastic. It's prepared with strawberries and so well balanced. The carpaccio was melt in your mouth. Great service and great food. Definitely give them a try.

This place was amazing from the moment I walked in the door. The aesthetics and ambience of the place are absolutely amazing classy with a little touch of spice. The staff was so sweet and accommodating some of the best food I've had in Breckenridge by far.

My wife & I came here for her birthday dinner. It was one of our favorite meals we had while visiting Breck. We weren't impressed with the host who greeted us, as he was not welcoming or friendly until I told him we had a reservation. Besides this negative first impression, the food and service otherwise was amazing. We started with the focaccia & the burrata which we highly recommend. We ordered the spaghetti vongole & gnocchi, & we each enjoyed our choice. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate semifreddo & the cheesecake... desserts were good but dinner was better. I wanted to give 5 stars, but the host sets the tone for your dining experience.

Radicato is an excellent Italian restaurant. We celebrated our daughters 21st birthday here and had a extraordinary experience. From the moment you enter this beautiful restaurant, every member of the staff goes above and beyond to rake care of you. The entire staff works well together to make your meal memorable. We had the Chef's 5 course meal and it was delicious! Our server was so friendly and brought everyone at our table a glass of sparkling wine to toast our daughter. Excellent experience!

The food was gourmet delicious, served with a full description of the dish. The service was welcoming to all. The entire team including the hostess, bar tenders, sommelier, chef, and manager were attentive without intruding. The restaurant welcomed guests in jeans and those in fur coats with equal graciousness. A gem in Breckenridge. I will be back.

After a Long week of skiing and cooking at home it was nice to have a bougey night out. This was the perfect spot to celebrate my friends wedding and baby of the way. I've been to the sister Restaraunt and both were good. I liked the food better here but the ambiance / space is better at the other location. Our favorite dish was the boar ragu- we weren't expecting to love it so much! The lobster dish underwhelming and everyone devoured the fresh focaccia.

We went to Radicato for our anniversary. It's a warm modern space that fit right in the mountains. The staff's incredible attention to detail is heart warming. They signed a card for us and greeted us with "happy anniversary". The attention to detail carried to the back of the house where they meticulously prepared every dish. All the food we had were phenomenal. We look forward to returning the next time we're in Breck. Accessibility note: It's on the second floor. We didn't see signs for an elevator at the entrance so you may need to look around.

Had heard so many great things about this restaurant, and was not disappointed! We went in October and enjoyed their seasonal fall menu. The service was great and the atmosphere was quiet but relaxing. Small but welcoming. Highly recommend for a nice dinner in a relaxed mountain town!

We followed the pro tip and arrived right at 4 PM, which was a brilliant move since happy hour only runs until 5 PM. Don't miss out! The food was outstanding. The carpaccio was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the cacio e pepe was pure perfection - creamy, peppery, and utterly satisfying. Drinks were equally impressive. Their Negroni was expertly crafted, the Old Fashioned hit all the right notes, and the red wine was a fantastic pour. Everything was truly delicious. Beyond the fantastic food and drinks, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you're in Breckenridge and looking for a superb happy hour experience with amazing food, drinks, and service, Radicato is an absolute must! We'll definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 25th anniversary dinner at Radicato. Our new friend at the Breckenridge Welcome Center HIGHLY recommended Radicato and we made a reservation immediately. Our server, Tracy, was so sweet and very attentive. My husband and I share the focaccia bread, tortellini and scallops and ended up ordering another round of tortellini . The food and atmosphere were absolutely perfect for a special occasion! We will definitely be back!

Bomb dot com. My millennial ass was pleased! Our Breckenridge girls trip ended with a delightful cherry on top after our visit to Radicato. We had a reservation for seven on a Saturday night. When we arrived, we were seated promptly. Everyone ordered drinks and it seems that everyone enjoyed their drinks! I had a couple dirty martinis that were perfection. For appetizers, I would recommend the Brussels Salad, Burrata, Delicata Squash, and house made Focaccia. So, basically everything we ordered, lol. The Burrata was delicious! The house made Focaccia though. Wowwwweeee. It was the star of the show. So soft, so fluffy, so flavorful. I asked if they sell them by the loaf for takeout...they do not. Pastas! We ordered the Agnolotti and Radiatore. Both were yummy but y'all...do NOT miss out on the Radiatore. It is exquisite. The noodles are perfectly cooked and shaped. I say shaped because it was the perfect shape for carrying the most delicious bite of sauce and cheese and meat my tastebuds have experienced in a while. It's rich from the short rib. The short rib is perfectly cooked. The pecorino brings it all home in a most delicious bite of pasta. So so so good. In fact, so good that my friend asked for an order of the Radiatore to go so she could snack on it later. We shared a few different entrees including the Diver Scallops, Grilled Quail, Heritage Pork Tenderloin and 38 oz. Dry Aged Prime Bone-in Ribeye. Standouts for me were the Grilled Quail and Pork Tenderloin! The ribeye was also very tasty! The Heritage Pork Tenderloin and Grilled Quail were just more unique in their flavors and were cooked perfectly. I honestly don't think I've had a better cooked pork tenderloin in my life. Service was obviously wonderful. They even brought out gelato for a birthday we were celebrating! I one thousand percent recommend making reservations and adding Radicato on your next visit to Breck. You will not be disappointed!

It's easy to see why Radicato won a James Beard Award for best Mountain restaurant. The attention to detail from the plating to service was impeccable. Our table of four each ordered the chef's menu, which consisted of four courses with an optional mocktail or wine pairing. The mocktail pairing requires a shout-out, as the server spent as much time explaining it as they would a wine. Attention was spent perfectly pairing the mocktail, and it was so nice to have that kind of drink explained, as it seems detailed explanations are typically reserved for alcoholic beverages. It's hard to identify which course was the best, as they were all truly incredible. First course, the hamachi crudo, was a simple yet complex dish. The pistachios provided an awesome crunch and winter flavor to the fresh hamachi. My favorite was the second course, the seared duck. WOW. The fat was perfectly crispy, the meat was tender, and the flavor so tasty! Honestly, this was one of the best duck dishes I've had, and definitely the best in Breckenridge. Radicato chefs really know how to cook duck to perfection. The spinach-stuffed pasta with hazelnuts was the talk of the night. As foodies we were all curious how chef's were able to stuff this pasta with a runny spinach puree that perfectly paired with the sweet sage and brown butter sauce below! Was it frozen before? Set out to thaw? Injected? Quite the conversation starter! My complaint was there weren't more! The scallops were perfectly cooked and I really enjoyed the sauce below. We added the filet mignon to share as a table and WOW, this was probably the table's favorite of the night. Super tasty, and perfectly seared, and the red wine sauce was incredible. My standout favorite was dessert, which was a surprise for me. The butterscotch budino wasn't too sweet and the chocolate pearls added a nice crunchy texture. Literally, everything was delicious! We will be back, and I can't wait until we come back and can try an updated chef's menu!

I've had plenty of bad service in my life. I've also had plenty of bad food in my life. But the…read morechaotic experience of dining at Sauce on the Maggie was truly a first. It began with check-in... the host appeared distressed and mumbled something about making sure her large party gets seated (not us) without properly acknowledging us. She left to go check on something and we kept waiting. When she came back, she was exasperated, but friendly and had us sat promptly. I wondered to my family if perhaps they were understaffed that night. Maybe? But there did seem to be plenty of staff running around and it seemed to be at 65% capacity. But when I say they were running, I mean RUNNING. It was almost comical and out of an SNL skit -- I kept asking my family facetiously what they were running FROM? But ironically, the service was glacial as many reviewers have pointed out. Appetizers and drinks went smoothly enough. The food was disappointing from the start... fried ravioli was chewy, bruschetta was soggy, and the caprese salad was nothing special. The standout of the entire night was the fried brussel sprouts, surprisingly tasty. Credit where credit is due!!! The main course is where things went further south. Penne a la vodka lacked the distinctive tangy flavor, rigatoni had a really one noted and heavy peppery kick, and the bolognese was unremarkable. The bus boy then only partially cleared our tables, took the plates but left the sauce covered silverware (never to be cleared, which was gross). We waited probably 15 minutes for server to return to get the check.. during which the food runner serving the table next to us dropped a family sized bowl of pasta onto the floor and my cream colored sneakers. It happens, no shade to the bus boy, but can't help but draw parallels to how fast the servers seemed to be rushing to and from the tables as if they were being chased...My family was in good spirits and laughing about all of this, by the way. Finally, our server returns, and insisted that we have an "on the house" dessert for the birthday girl (my sister was celebrating her 30th and engagement). We agreed, but decided we needed a second to look. She was gone for probably another 10 minutes, we ordered, and asked for the check. Another 10 or so minutes go by. The desserts arrive without any silverware. The food runner brings some, they're dirty. So the waitress ultimately bring some over that were clean enough. My fudge cake was yummy (again, being fair here), but all the others were not. We were most disappointed that the tiramisu, advertised as being made daily in house, lacked coffee flavor and coloring, and much too heavy on the cream. After finishing dessert we waited and waited. I decided to flag down the host as she weaved through the other servers like a 6 lane highway in Atlanta . "Excuse me, miss," I said, to which she responded by holding up a finger at me and saying something about her other table. "Oh," I exclaimed in surprise. She later looped back eventually and apologized, taking the check from us. Our initial server returns for the check a few minutes later, and I informed her that I'd given the check to the host/manager (?). \ Once she returned with the check, she said she "heard" about what happened and was so sorry. I jokingly said, "which part?" Which in hindsight I feel bad about. Sorry to that waitress. The restaurant ultimately comped 3 of the desserts, which was nice. Overall, the ambiance was frenetic, the food bad/mediocre, and the service slow. That said, my family got a great laugh out of the whole thing, and thus I give 2 stars instead of 1.
