I called to see if they could help with my touch screen that controlled everything in my car, my radio, my air conditioner, my back up camera. They had an appointment the next day, I was there maybe 20 min as they removed it. I left it there late on a Thursday so I didn't expect it back until the following week, to my surprise they called Thursday afternoon with the diagnosis and they could fix it! Said it would take a day or two(closed on the weekends, so I can't count those days). The touch screen of the radio & navigation system on my old 2010 Toyota went out. I called the Toyota dealer and they recommended Radio Medics. I set up an appointment with Radio Medics and visited them out near the big car junkyard on south Sunrise Blvd in Rancho Cordova. Radio Medics does an excellent job of fixing issues with current car radio, satellite, and navigation systems! Their focus is not car stereo installs. I arrived to a comfortable, clean, and nicely appointed lobby. I was warmly greeted very quickly by Johnathan who is clearly very adept at handling multiple customers in a very professional way. Johnathan informed me of what he would be checking on my system and why. Johnathan kept me updated along the way during the repair. He took the extra time to do an in-depth debug on my Sirius XM portion of the system that had failed a while ago. He found the issue among four different satellite radio components that could cause the problem. Radio Medics did an excellent professional job of finding and fixing the problems at a reasonable price. The new touch screen works great! I am waiting on a further quote from them to replace the Sirius XM module. I highly recommend Radio Medics for any car radio or navigation system problems. Radio Medics specializes in repairing/replacing OEM radio units. The touchscreen digitizer of my Lexus ES 350 2011 was broken, and they offered to repair it for a few hundred dollars (which would have been probably at least a thousand dollars cheaper than the Lexus dealership, who didn't even seem interested in giving me a quote for repairing such an old unit). My unit was replaced in less than 2 days, which was incredibly fast. I'm glad the Sacramento region has a business that is so efficient and professional in such a niche area of cars. read more

These guys are great! I have an aftermarket head unit, OEM amplifier, and aftermarket speakers and lost all sound. Due to my OEM amp, other shops referred me to Radio Medic and I'm glad they did. I couldn't hold off writing this review! My '03 G35 Coupe had been facing problems with the AC system and radio for many years. Just a few years ago my radio system went dead. And my AC system would be at FULL BLAST every time I started my car. I was either singing to myself or my passengers or loving summer/hating winter. I called around different dealerships to get an estimate on how much this would cost to repair. I was going to have to give up an arm an a leg to temporarily fix the problem. And do it all over again till I was limbless. So I did more research and found Radiomedics through the car forum g35driver.com. I called the office and spoke to Fernando and he answered all my questions over the phone on Monday. Today, I drove up from the East Bay and it took me a little over two hours to get here. I was greeted by Fernando when I arrived and he began to work on my car. Two hours later, the years of no music and uncontrollable AC system went away. Highly recommend. The owner and staff are compotent, responsive, honest, and very professional. In December the radio, and GPS in my 2008 Toyoto Sienna Van stopped working. A fairly common problem for this unit. They diagnosed and replaced with a rebuilt circuit board under a 1 year warranty. Problem happened again with a week, needed another circuit board along with fixing a power circuit. Problem fixed at a reasonable price. P.S. After the repair process, I realized the C Ds in my unit were missing and so informed them. They called back after four weeks saying they had found them. Great customer service. read more

Rob and Fernando were great. I called them up to see if they could help with 2 discs stuck in my car DVD player. Rob said they could get to it that day. I found their shop, Rob helped me right away, Fernando did the work and it was done in 1 hour. I would recommend these guys. The price was great, I was quoted $350 from the Honda dealership, they were far less. I also had coins in my air vents from the kids, they even got those out. Terrible experience here. During a car build, my builder highly recommended this shop to do the work. My car audio system install is as simple as it gets: Deck, amp, 4 speakers. Yet, hey still managed to botch it up. Whenever the engine was turned over, there was an extreme amount of alternator whine that was louder than the stereo itself. In addition, the wiring was extremely sloppy. Obviously an indication that they rushed the job and paid no attention to detail. I tried to work with Fernando to correct the issue for months and months. Because his shop is out of the area... He kept putting me off and obviously had no intention of correcting the sloppy work and making it right. Any professional shop would be embarrassed to let someone leave the shop with this kind of work. All of this... and NOT CHEAP!!! read more

Radio Medics was recommended to me by Mike's Sound Systems (Excellent place!) in Elk Grove. My Subaru CD player had died; a factory replacement was stupid-expensive and I did not want to put an after-market radio in the car. Fernando did a great job explaining what the problem was after he pulled the radio out and actually showed me what needed to be replaced. His charge for removing the radio was minimal and the brand-new CD mechanism (he re-used the PC board from my radio, as it was fine) works even better than the factory one (easier insertion and removal of disk). I now have a great radio again for a fraction of the price of the alternatives. I recommend Radio Medics without hesitation and will pass the word along to my car club. read more
