I had a very concerning experience with Harding Radiology's billing practices. At my first appointment (12/15/2025), I was required to pay a $300 deposit and was told it was necessary due to my insurance. After the claim processed, my Explanation of Benefits showed my patient responsibility for that visit was $0. I contacted Harding Radiology multiple times about the discrepancy and was repeatedly told their system had not finished processing the EOB and that I needed to wait. At my next appointment (1/12/2026), I was again required to pay a $300 deposit. During that visit, I was also asked to sign paperwork authorizing the practice to keep a credit card on file for automatic charges. Because the earlier deposit issue was still unresolved, I intentionally declined to provide that authorization. Despite declining that authorization, on 2/23/2026 my credit card was charged $227.46 without any bill, invoice, statement, or prior notice of an outstanding balance. When I raised the issue, I was told there was an "electronic authorization," but I have since had to repeatedly request documentation supporting that claim and have not yet received it. Because of these concerns, I have asked my insurance company to investigate the situation and Harding Radiology's billing practices. Based on my experience, I would recommend that patients go anywhere else. UPDATE 3/12/26: After I requested documentation supporting the charge, their billing department later acknowledged via voicemail that they could not locate any signed credit card authorization form and indicated they would process a refund. I was also asked to modify my Google review. In my case, my credit card was charged without any bill, invoice, or opportunity to review the balance and pay it voluntarily first. Management appeared to be receiving my emails but left it to the billing department to address the issue, even though it is their policies that created the situation. The experience suggests serious problems with oversight and billing practices. Patients should monitor their statements carefully. read more

I went to my primary OBGYN not knowing that this company handles their ultrasounds. Very long story short, they charged me $300 upfront stating that 'incase insurance doesn't cover.' I paid it. A week later I went back and they asked me for another $300. I said no, I paid this last week. They continued to say in case it did not cover. I said I've been working in a medical office for years, that's not how this works. They actually threatened to not do the procedure (which was crucial). I refused and said you need to bill my insurance and I'll happily pay the balance due. A week later I called their billing department, and the gentleman was so nasty I wound up hanging up. Sadly, I will switch my whole practice if this is who I have to deal with. read more

For a number of years I enjoyed the care of the two women who did the mammogram and then the ultrasound. At my last appointment they had both gone and I was treated to a hatchet job of a mammogram. Like a total hatchet job. I complained to the owner at the time. Some weeks after I received a letter in the mail saying that a lump had been found. No phone call. Just a delayed letter. I called and receptionist said that legally they have 30 days to tell you that you have a lump (ie possible cancer). Would anyone out there find this acceptable? No, I didn't think so. In case you are worried, I got a second opinion who said the Harding mammogram was done so badly it was unreadable. I got the tests redone. read more

Most backwards practice! Went for an ultrasound at my OBGYN office and as soon as I stepped in the room, they say they need payment in order to do the procedure. They didn't ask for insurance is anything. After being charged $300, we were given no receipt or anything. I called my insurance and they advised that was very bizarre. I then called Harding who told me that the claim wasn't processed and I needed to be patient (this was from a month ago). Cigna advised me it should be covered 100%. I have a feeling it's going to be a fight to get my refund from Harding. As much as I love my OBGYN, I'll be looking for another as long as they use Harding. Too much of a headache to deal with. read more

Avoid this place like a plague! Had an Ultra sound done in 2025 billed insurance paid the balance so paid in full in 2025. April 2026 I get a new bill for the ultrasound from LAST year that was paid in full... THEY CHANGED THE PROCEDURE CODES AND SUBMITTED ANOTHER BILL TO THE INSURANCE COMPANY, and want almost another $400 hundred dollars from me! They have done this to other people! I got a phone call from them with the guy was yelling and threatening me... He says I gave them my card and they will charge it whenever they want! I gave them my debit card for the initial visit, they are trying to charge it now for this bogus charge... I had to cancel my card... For a number of years I have had my mammograms, ultra sound and bone density testing at Harding. Over the last two years the ownership and staffing of this facility have changed - and not for the better. For two consecutive years I have had to have follow up mammograms because of a finding. A second screening on the first was unremarkable. After my most recent mammogram I was advised that I needed a biopsy. This resulted in the very stressful experience of having the biopsy done. The oncologist at the Morristown Mem Breast Center stated that she would never have recommended a biopsy based on the results of this test. However, she fel obliged to perform the test as is was recommended. The result was negative but it took two weeks out of my life with worry and concern. My primary said that she has had a number of similar experiences with patients going to Harding. I will not be going there again. LKC , Morristown read more

A claustrophobic person I pre medicated for my "45 minute" MRI which was 2+ hours and I had to push the escape button. A week later a "15" minute mri to finish the previous one ended up being another hour. Mislead each time about the time. Six days later the surgeon had no image to review and I drove to their office to pick up a CD OF MY MRI!!!!! When I asked why they don't make the image available online they said to my face, 'to the referring physician?" The physician has to call to get access to our PORTAL!?!?!?!? Are you kidding? Apparently that is not information you provide to referring physicians. I am days out from an MRI I will have PTSD from, and I made 7 calls today to resolve this. I have never dealt with a less professional medical office. Your front desk staff could have said at my first call that the images are available online on your portal but it wasnt mentioned. Waited two weeks for results of mammogram and was told to come back for ultrasound. Waited another two weeks for those results. Do yourself a favor and travel the extra miles to Carol Simon Cancer Center in Morristown. They treat you so well and have a radiologist on site. NO ONE should have to wait two weeks when they're worried about possible breast cancer!! read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS FACILITY. After a routine mammogram, patients are still waiting over a week and a half for results. Apparently the radiologist is off-site (also a red flag, a radiologist should be on-site to address any immediate concerns). After their one and only "remote" radiologist experienced a family matter, they are still 10+ days behind on getting patients results for standard procedures, without making them aware of delays. You can receive better care elsewhere. Front desk staff are also not trained, unfriendly. read more

Worst diagnositic center I have ever been to in my life. And I have been going for CTSCANS and MRIs and mammos in many different places. Unfortunately my husband's insurance l provides the service in this facility only so I have no choice to escape this facility. Every time I make an appointment whether it's for CTSCAN or Mammogram or MRI they cancel and postpone the appointment date and time. They always have an issue with their tech or docs not being available at the time that they're giving us the appointment for their service. They feel it's their right to cancel the appointments for the patients because we are dependent on the facility and as patients, we cannot say anything back to them because we need the service. And unfortunately, they will only cancel the appointment 24 hours before the appointment date so we don't even have the time to make another appointment somewhere else. This is a very frequent practice at this facility and this is how they run the operation. So if you don't mind waiting and hoping and praying that the appointment sticks then please book your appointment at this facility. read more

I went here for 20 years. I believe that the radiologist report was inaccurate. They said they have four years worth of mammograms. I will follow up this report at Morristown memorial. They don't have any history of my fibroid adenoma is and wrote suspicious malignancy. I am really upset and there is no one to talk to. Dr. Ann Moore was a professional. In the early years, she would examine you if she had a question I don't know who is reading the x-rays or what they are doing, but I don't like it. My original appointment was canceled and I was told to come on a Sunday cause they had no technicians. My daughter and my friend had the same experience. I don't like it. I made an appt for a specialized test and had to take time off from work and was a long distance for me from my home to get there. When I arrived they told me the tech had called out sick and they didn't have my phone #. This is bs bc I added my cell to the initial online form for a call back. Duh. My hand specialist requested that I pick up a CD of the hand x-ray I'd had at this facility. When I called to say that I would be coming in to pick up the CD I was informed that it would be a $20 CHARGE FOR THE CD! I'd had imaging done at other radiology facilities and had been given the CDs at NO CHARGE. When I told the hand surgeon that I didn't pick up the CD because of the $20 charge, she was shocked that a radiology facility would charge a fee for the CD. I'm assuming that this facility is struggling financially and that's why they're charging this exorbitant fee for what rightly belongs to the patient. read more

Harding Radiology is a very nice very proficient radiology center. Their billing department is a nightmare. Somehow 5 weeks after my appointment my insurance company has informed them that I was not covered at the time of service (which obviously was incorrect). I have called all the necessary people working on getting the issue straightened out. I did have insurance at the time of service. The "gentleman" I am dealing with in billing refuses to listen to what happened. So far has accused me of insurance fraud and threatened me with collections. I asked for his supervisor he refused. I have never encountered such rude bullying individuals in healthcare. Shame on you Harding Radiology for employing such people. read more

Their billing department is a nightmare. They call you to pay a bill before they even send it out. They call you every few days until you pay. It's a $50 co-pay and I have probably received six calls already before they even sent me the invoice to pay. Then I got it in the mail on Friday and I'm getting calls already on Monday that it's past due. Stay away!! read more

IF I COULD GIVE NO STARS I WOULD!!This place is awful. My daughter was sent for a STAT CT scan to rule out a potential surgical emergency. She had contrast involved so final scan done at 3:30. I said it was a STAT order which was acknowledged by staff. I was told it could take an hour or so to read. I was also told there were NO docs on-site and read remotely. Unfortunately my daughter was in so much pain we went straight to the ER. After 3 hours I called our doctor and they had still not received the STAT report. I called the center but they had closed for the weekend. At the hospital they did not want to re-scan as she is in her 20's. Our doctor reached out a total of 3 times during the evening including by text to the radiologist and center manager and at almost 10pm we got our STAT reading. That is far from STAT. Also, the report is so basic and undetailed and looks like a 5 year old used a typewriter that they commented at the hospital that it was poorly done. BTW: The name on the report wasn't even hers!! I WOULD STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM HERE AS POSSIBLE. Notice all bad reviews! read more

I went to this office yesterday. Making the appointment over the phone was super easy, my information was added to a sheet so I only had to verity it and sign a few forms when I got there. All the staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I was in and out very quickly. I highly recommend this office for Xrays. read more

I went out of urgency and after being told that my ultrasound results would be sent to my doc within 24 hours ... now being told they will be sent OVER A WEEK after I received the ultrasound. I've been in pain for two weeks now just bc the radiologist cannot review their work in a timely matter. hire more staff if the work is too much to handle or find radiologists that can handle the pace. I am so disappointed in this center. They have fantastic technicians and equipment and everything usually goes smoothly at my appointment. The issue is with their billing department. Two years in a row I have had issues with my bill, two years in a row I deal with the same man who could not be ruder. This year, I received a bill in August for something that was paid by my health plan in June. When I read him the confirmation number he told me just because it says so on their website doesn't mean it was actually paid. He is so rude, cuts you off when you are talking, and in this case was 100% wrong. I will not be going back to this radiology center strictly because I never want to deal with their billing department ever again. read more

I used Radiology Center at Harding for imaging at the recommendation of my doctor. The level of incompetence at every step of the process was staggering. First, they searched the wrong insurance company. When corrected, they still could not identify a company they had an active contract with. They even asked me for all contact information because they are apparently unable to use google. Next because they took so long to realize their mistake they were not able to receive authorization, so I had to pay out of pocket. To add icing to the cake, they were unable to properly administer contrast so the scan is useless. I am out hundreds of dollars for an unintelligible scan. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Please use any other facility in NJ. read more

I called this center before I can explaining I was a slip and fall and needed 3 MRI! I have no insurance so they told me it would be $415 each one. Now 6 months later they send my lawyer a bill for $7900! They are saying it's that much cause I had a latter of protection. Which they never disclosed to me it would be now $2800 each with the letter! I never would have came here if I knew they were gonna charge that!!!! This is robbery! read more

The radiologists and technicians at Harding are always nice and reassuring, but unfortunately, the office staff have been so rigid, difficult, and condescending to me that I've decided never to go back. Over the last 8 years I have tried them, gotten mad, gone elsewhere, and then tried them again but no - it never improves. Today I told off one of their accounting people for interrupting and mansplaining to me, then my insurance rep. said she got the same attitude from the same guy when SHE called. Harding Radiology is the only imaging and diagnostic center I use. In the past year I have had mammogram, ultrasound and bone density tests. All staff professional, short waiting times, thorough review by doctors and technicians and reasonable prices (for tests that may not be covered by insurance). Dr. Moore has high standards for her team and is thorough in her review of images. read more
