Radiology Regional is the worst run organization period. My first appointment was scheduled for February 17. I arrived for my appointment , the receptionist stated they made an error they scheduled me for March 17. I rescheduled , while I was there ,they scheduled me for Feb. 20. I was called in and the tech said they scheduled me for the wrong imaging order and I would have to call their Nuke department. They could not schedule me will I was at the front desk. I would never recommend someone to go here. All the staff is extremely rude, uncaring and unfriendly. The reception staff will make sure you feel stupid for any question you ask. The first time I went here I had to see if my tubes were blocked because I had been trying to get pregnant for 2 years. The doctor that did the test was extremely rude and told me I could not get pregnant naturally because of the blockage. They were very uncaring and cold when I was already going through an extremely sad and stressful time. The second time was for x-rays the other day and the staff was still the same. I was able to come here for an MRI stat for my young son after he developed seizures. I was treated with kindness and understanding by everyone. Yes there were many people there for all sorts of procedures but you are welcome to sit outside to avoid the crowd. I could tell everyone we came across genuinely tried to make us comforted and listen. Honestly, procedures may take time so all the reviews being negative because they had to wait are a little exaggerated to me. read more

To be fair... I believe many businesses are having serious challenges staffing quality administrative staff. These days (Free gov check handouts with political agenda ect) it is hard to find good young people who work, want to be well-trained or have the basic educational acumen and respect to impress. (Millenial Syndrone with communication/respect challenges i.e... sound familiar? ) ... all part of the break-down of the nuclear family unit in concert with the intentionally programmed dumbing-down and amoralization of America. This is not new, was happening in Germany during Weimar Republic. Back to Radiology Regional... Positives first: They have excellent state of the art equipment. They are in several locations. The radiologist who reviewed my PET SCAN "appeared" from a lay person's perspective to be quite seasoned and probably did a pro job. It has been sent to other radiologists for confirmation. They may be expanding too fast to secure stable quality help. I was stuck 4 times to draw blood. The Seiman's BIO 40 technition had no personality, could star in a Boris Karloff flick, felt like they were being bothered, explained nothing and just tossed me in the tube. You can't train people like this to have natural warmth and communication skills, it's congenital. The phone systems, the hold times and some of the admin staff (not all) not the best. Would I go there again, NO. In all due fairness to the customer, this is a $2,200 procedure and I've had better treatment at Burger King. It was not until I reached management "Shawn" that matters were very well-handled. I also feel the industry is spread thin but given the cost and importance they can do better. Shawn stated my complaints mimic those in their company meetings as though I worked there. To be fair as well, I was on a very tight timeline which increased stress. Bottom line too, Florida is slower, schooling not as regimented those from the north east and mid Atlantic are used to so are more sensitive to poor logistics, training and education, hence can be perceived as aggressive. It's the way it is but as more northerners relocate, it may improve as time moves. In conclusion, Radiology Regional has great technology and the radiologist and supervisor Shawn at Winkler were ostensibly all good. The administrative and some technical staff was not the best. Sign of the times, southern lethargy and educational system ect. I think this is a fair and appropriate commentary. Mind you, all operations have their high and low vicissitudes, perhaps my timing was not ideal. Hope this helps whoever reviews and may be going there. Call and ask for Shawn, he was fast, responsive, got things done and cared. $2,200 is a lot of coin for 1.5 hours. But remember, those PET machines cost hundreds of thousands, I think well-over a million. Radiology Regional can do better and do understand a 20 minute PET scan is equal to 8 years of daily radiation (nobody explained). It's a double edged sword but definitely sees your body well isolating concerns that could save your life. Be your own best advocate, learn as much as you can about your affliction. I had an ultrasound done at Radiology Regional four months ago. They over charged me 46.44. I have been calling to try to get this situation rectified and have a check cut back to me. I have contacted the billing department 11 times. Each time being told that they will refund the overage. Still no refund. They are not responsive. Had to wait over an hour after the scheduled appointment time to get called back. What is the point of having an appointment scheduled if your forced to wait ridiculous times? The waiting room is the size of a Dodge Caravan with 10 seats per side. You would think if they force their patients to wait absurd times they'd have the room for people to sit. Basically had to cancel my entire day due to having to wait to be taken back for imaging. I will do everything I possibly can to avoid this place for my next imaging/procedure. Place is horrible. Doc called in order and they called me to set up appt. Gave me the option of 2 locations. Chose the one closest to my house. Get to my appt 15 minutes early as instructed. Wait 30 minutes and then they call me up and say they don't do that type of xray and I have to go to their other location. Drive 20 minutes to other location and they can't find the order and say I canceled my appt. Finally get it straightened out but now have to wait 1.5 hrs bc they didn't direct me to the right facility. read more

This place is an absolute abomination.Employees are rude and disorganized. i arrived 1/2 hour before appointment as requested You check in by computer entry and wait to be called. Crowded waiting rooms and people at counter call out by first name. Frequently two people ( same first name) get up and that creates confusion. When finally called escorted to a tiny closet sized room you are asked the same questions on a form you just answered in writing. Tech attempted unsuccessfully to insert needle for blood draw. She provides small gauze patch for puncture wound but no band aid or tape. instead she wraps heavy stretch tape around both elbows. Another tech called into finish the job. Sit and wait again. Finally get MRI which took 25 minutes but my visit lasted 3 hours. No info on . getting resullts . They dont even tell you how to find your way out. read more

OMG! If you have another choice for your x-ray or MRI, take it! My first experience with them was being rudely commanded to keep my mask up to cover my nose in the waiting room when going for an MRI. The second time was an attempt to get an x-ray. My orthopedist gave me an order so I called them to find out if I needed an appointment for an x-ray. "Oh no, just come, we take walk-ins". So I drive half an hour to learn there are about fifteen people there waiting, and the young guy behind the counter says it's about an hour and a half wait. I turned around and drove half an hour back home. Never got the x-ray. Then I had an order for an MRI, so I arrived half an hour early as they requested, only to be told just prior to my appointment time that it would be an hour wait. So I decided to take my wife home because she is dealing with her own health issues, and neither of us wanted her to sit in their uncomfortable chairs for an hour and a half to two hours. I was back in less than 45 minutes, but they not only took another patient ahead of me, they took more people! With no explanation, other than to say, after the fact, that "You're not allowed to leave the premises." No one told me that before hand. So an hour and ten minutes after my scheduled appointment I'm told, "It will be another hour to an hour and half." I tossed my paperwork over the counter, told them it was BS and walked out. If I decide to get the MRI, I'll go elsewhere. I gave them one star only so I could complete the review. read more

I was referred to this place for an ultrasound by my cardiologist. When I called to schedule an appointment, I was told I had to wear a mask while in the facility. I just left my cardiologist's office where they didn't have a mask requirement. There are no standing orders in Collier County, City of Naples, or the Florida Health Dept. to support the mask requirement, so I politely informed the scheduler that I prefer to remain "maskless." She said I couldn't enter the facility without a mask, so I cancelled my appointment. When I called my Cardiologist's office, the person who answered the call tried to justify the mask requirement and asked whether I had the vaccine. Remarkable. A stranger on the other end of the call has the gall to ask me a personal question about my health. It is frightening the lengths that so-called professionals have gone to usurp privacy laws and covet power in the name of "safety." The "pandemic" is over. "Masks are largely ineffective" according to the CDC and Dr. Fauci, so why do administrators at facilities like Radiology Regional Center continue to promote a myth, spread fear and uncertainty, and discriminate against those who are informed by scientific facts. I recommend others find a different facility to perform medical services. read more

I will start out by saying I went to the Naples (Goodlette Location). I had a mammogram and they suggested I needed a biopsy. if they tell you this RUN. do not let these people touch you!!!! Dr Groat mutilated my breast during a biopsy. I was left with a golf ball sized hematoma and a black and purple breast that was sore for over 2 weeks. I went back to show what they did to Dr Pagliara ( part owner) all he said, in a very callous way, was sorry at least we found your cancer. Never got an apology from Dr Groat. WOMEN DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DONT USE THIS FACILITY. Go to the Breast Center of Naples where you're treated with dignity. I wish I did. read more

Customer Service #FAIL My physician wrote a specific order for Radiology Regional to share the results of an X-RAY with me. It is now five days later and they still have not shared results with me or my physician. I called and spoke with their medical records department representatives 'Katherine' and then her supervisor 'Bill'. Both individuals were highly uncooperative and condescending and refused to share the results with me for 5 'business' days and their justification was that "the state law allows them to withhold results / medical records from patients for 20 business days" and they can't grant an exception to their 5-day policy even with a doctor's written order. Radiology Regional should inform consumers of this ridiculous policy prior to performing the procedure. How can patients have an informed discussion with their physician if they cannot review the report / results within a reasonable time-frame and in advance of an appointment? In an age where patient / consumers are empowered with information about their health and diagnostics are routinely shared digitally and immediately with consumers via apps - it is apparent that Radiology Regional is stuck in the past and unwilling to move into the age of EMR and serve their customers needs. The doctor and I were their customer and needed that information in order to have an informed discussion. Radiology Regional failed to deliver the results to me and to my physician in a timely manner. According to their website Radiology Regional Center's mission is to "... serve the health care needs of the community with a constant striving for the highest quality care". Radiology Regional Center failed to deliver on this promise. I will say that the staff at the Naples facility were warm and friendly, especially the technician Jenny and the receptionist who's name I cannot remember. They both were excellent. Unfortunately their medical records policies are stiff and antiquated and the representatives of that department are miserable bureaucrats. I am very disappointed with Radiology Regional and will not recommend this provider to any of my family, friends and colleagues. read more

Your basic radiology factory......dozens of patients waiting in a fluorescent lighted waiting room with no reading material, a TV with the sound off. Forget HIPPA....patients are called to the desk by first and last names, their personal data discussed loud enough to be heard by anyone nearby.....patients with crutches and walkers left standing while staff sits to take their information. My appointment was for 1:50 and I wasn't called in until 2:50 to another fluorescent lighted area. Not out until almost 3:30 for a mammogram that up until now had always taken 15 minutes.....I brought all my records on discs which I was told had to be sent to Fort Myers to be entered into the system. Apparently the Naples office is a stepchild and my reading won't be done until the records are transferred. Go elsewhere for respectful and professional service. read more

I arrived 30 minutes before my appt time as instructed. The waiting room was SRO. Stood there for 25 minutes before called to do the paper work and told it would be at least a 45 minute further wait for the MRI. I am always on time and expect it from others, especially professional offices. This is just classic over booking to the max, by people that have no respect for others time. read more

Strange that people have had such different experiences at radiology regional. My experience yesterday for a CT scan was seamless and easy as it could be. Was called to my 10 AM appointment within a handful of minutes of the scheduled time. My tech was Ed who was thorough, totally caring, pleasant, and very forthcoming with information and answers to my questions. He prepped me on what to expect going forward and was spot on, no surprises. Tony and Ben, who administered the scan, were very professional. When the scan was completed Ed made sure I was ready to be released and then walked me to the door. First class service from the moment I entered. read more

If Radiology Regional Center allows their employees to treat new or current patients with disrespect/rudeness when trying to make a simple appointment that is not the company I want to spend my $ or time with. I wish there was a minus star. A single star is just too much for the poor service received. First the Mri tech punched thru two vains and injected saline into my tissue versus the intended vain. I finally suggested another tech and she agreed. My hand and arm are very brused. The doctors ordered were for Mri with contrast. It was administered and upon completion I was lead to the door with no explanation concerning the contrast. Seven hours later I was considering going to the emergency room as a result of the contrast. The tech failed to advise me of the side effects or that I should drink plenty of water. Thankfully after having to go to bed from the terrible feeling I called a radiologist I knew who explained the side effects and that I should drink plenty of water to flush the contrast away. Not only did I call to verify Radiology Regional Center did the type of procedure my doctor prescribed but so did my insurance service (Health Advocate). When I called I repeatedly asked to ensure this was something they did, in fact, do before booking my appointment. I scheduled the appointment, verified the prescription was received the week prior to my appointment, and after 45 minutes of waiting in their lobby was notified they do not offer that service! The technician's 'excuse' was that "no one asked her". How about letting your staff and scheduling know what type of services you offer and DON'T offer before people waste their time! read more

This facility continues to disappoint but this time was so egregious, it's time to alert the public. This is a step by step on how the appointment went: the reason we made an appointment there is because I was told a specific radiologist (whom we have known for years) would be there on that day and would be reading our results. Wrong, the radiologist no longer reads CTs. Next, the tech that called us in to prep my husband for contrast was less than friendly. The tech that called my husband in for the CT, continued to call for 'Walter', my husband's name is William. During the procedure, at least five techs were involved and there was a flurry of activity in the CT room. I found out later that the infusion exploded and got all over his clothes since a robe was not offered. The excuse was faulty equipment...I say no diligence in performing their jobs. I was sitting in the hallway and no one bothered to inform me of what was going on considering my husband has a host of serious health issues. On this note, the 'manager' offered a patient shirt that my husband wore the rest of the day during errand running since we were an hour and a half from home. A new infusion site was put in his opposite arm to continue the test...no one bothered to wipe down the bloody arm. We brought discs and reports for comparison as this was a pivotal test for my husband. They could not be downloaded because their equipment was down. The manager downloaded it in her office after my insistence with the tech. How can an accurate comparison be done without previous results? My advice to the owners of this facility is to be more diligent in training, to stress empathy and kindness and push for nothing but professionalism. These techs were more concerned about lunch time and personal matters. Walmart offers better customer service except this is about your health and well being not retail purchases.
