Bathroom was clean - toilet flushed unusually slow (but did work).

Located near the Airport, the Radisson Hotel was a nice place to stay. The location is convenient, and the room and hotel were clean. Parking was good. The staff was nice. For the price, it was good. The bathroom was clean and in okay condition. The toilet flushes very slowly - not sure if it would work, but it did. The wallpaper in the room was peeling. Otherwise the room was comfortable, and everything else functioned well. Definitely would stay here again when in the area. The staff was nice at the front desk at check in. In the morning there wasn't staff at the desk, but a sign indicated where to drop your room keys. The pool area was nice. The drinks in the vending machines were priced reasonably. All in all it was a good place to stay.

    BED BUGS!!!

Ive book this hotel because its close by the airport but i should of never stayed here. Beds and couches are infested with BED BUGS!! My wife and I were in room 220 where we woke up filled with bites. They moved us to room 722 where it was still infested with BED BUGS. This hotel is so dirty, they do a good job covering it. This is unacceptable and no one should pay for a room filled with bed bugs I recommend the manager to get an exterminator and clean out every single room. I don't want anything in return only for the manager to take action and to not let anyone stay in floor 2 and floor 7, maybe all the floors. Everyone that's looking for a place to stay, Staybridge will be a better option Ive book this hotel because its close by the airport but i should of never stayed here. Bed bugs ! ! ! I checked into two nights stay from March 29 to March 31 into room 514 and was bitten by bed bugs . On the early morning around 5+am I woke up scratching my neck Area cos of itch and fall back to sleep and later in the day my bite turn obvious and swell red and swollen When I called the front desk this morning They make it sound like no big deal as no new guest complained and I should call back again when manager on shift if I need to complain , what kind of attitude is this to treat this so lightly ? Attached are some photos I took the same day I checked out and the day after I check out , the bites has swollen to a wider area

Called an hour before we booked, asked if the wifi was working, front desk man says yes. By the time we arrive, somehow the Cox service went out just in this hotel...my wife required it to finish working. Had to use my phone as a hot spot so she could work...ridiculous. Bed was lumpy and old. Walls had water damage and the wallpaper was falling off. Bar/Cafe closed at 8 pm and the front doors locked at 10 pm just like the dorms as a kid, wth. Staff was nice other then the wifi issue. Walls are paper thin so you can hear your neighbors TV and conversation. The streets around here are filled with drugged out zombies, be careful at the store.

Had a nice stay at this Radisson over a month ago. This location is very convenient to flyers, around 10 minutes or less from the airport. The shuttle goes by the airport every 15 minutes or so and is available as early as 4 AM. Majority of the amenities were closed during my visit due to Covid. The pool was open, but I didn't get a chance to take a look. Social distancing was enforced with floor markers, the staff wore masks, and sanitizer was available. I booked a king bed for one night. My room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Decor was modern and minimalistic throughout. It had a flat screen TV, hardwood floors, and standard amenities. I slept like a baby! The staff was very nice and helpful. Check in and check out went smoothly. Would stay again if in the area.

Maydeline at the Spa was very helpful and very in touch with guest needs. One step ahead everytime. Colin really saved the day with making sure we had everything we needed. Brennan was also really helpful at breakfast and bringing us water all the way to the retreat pool. There was a minor hiccup with requesting ice while we were there but they did take care of it and apologized the next day for it not being done promptly, the acknowledgement was great and it really was such a minor thing. The hotel is inspired by the colorful and folk art influenced works of renowned mid-century modern architect and designer Alexander "Sandro" Girard. The hotel's bio says he was the main source of inspiration for the design of the Andaz Scottsdale. The property is beautiful to walk around, with all the landscaping, flowers and trees; some of them are marked with what kind of plant they are. There are century plants and aloe and various cacti. The fitness center is located at the spa. It has windows which open up onto the pool, which is a more private pool than the main pool. The staff is outstanding. Savannah, who ran the front desk on my most recent visit, is absolutely amazing and really helped with any questions or small issues with my stay. The restaurant is wonderful for the hotel breakfast. I recommend having cocktails there too. You can see a beautiful sunset from the bar. I love the open design of this hotel resort because it makes you feel like you're in the countryside and you can admire the beautiful views of Camelback as you walk around the grounds and hear birds chirping. It's so relaxing. Parking is easy and you can usually find a spot right outside your casita room as the parking circles the hotel. Toiletries in the room smell so good! Lavender with sea salt. It's really like staying in a spa! One of my favorite experiences at this hotel was taking a late afternoon outdoor class at the spa/gym on the large lawn where we did stretching/light resistance training with the the sunset behind Camelback Mountain as the backdrop. It was glorious. I definitely recommend trying one of the classes or "experiences" if you stay here. Some of them you have to pay extra for, but a few of them are included with your room rate. At first glance the hotel interiors and architecture seem extremely simple and minimal, but then you realize it's actually all a piece of mid-century modern inspired art. It's really fun to walk around and admire all the understated design details at this hotel.

I ordered 2 food items and pre paid for 3 beers the bill came out to $52.18 I didn't think much of it and even tipped 25% After I finished my third beer. Again I tipped 25% My phone has text alert and I noticed the bill was $42.62 for what should have been $22.00 max I bought it to my bar tenders attention and she was working things out on the registry and came back with a receipt that didn't have prices just my order but she had added 1 extra beer. I told her it was wrong and she said it wasn't that the first time she had only charged me for 2 beers and this was my third beer. I did not want to argue so I left it at that but I couldn't sleep thinking about it. I mean dang I even tipped her good. The next day I reached out. To management I don't mind taking care of my servers and I'm always a good tipper. But I don't like being taken advantage of because they think I had a few drinks. Or they think I won't notice extra things. This is not okay. The hotel you check into is supposed to be a safe place like home to enjoy a drink or two. The management offered to refund the first bill of 52.18. But I told him I just wanted what I was over charged refunded plus my tips. At this point I feel she had the chance to correct my bill and make things right but she chose to make me feel like I was in the wrong. After the manager added my first bill up after I told him what I had ordered it turns out she charged 4 beers the first time and not just my 3 and way over charged me the second time. This is a great place to stay but keep an eye on what you order. More so late at night. Also my hot wings were cold in the center but I didn't even mention it to her at the time. I arrived at noon on a Friday after driving in from Las Vegas, and Dylan at the front desk set the tone immediately. As a solo traveler who had just made that drive, being able to walk straight to a room and crash was everything. He took a few minutes to catch me up on what had changed since my last stay; the breakfast situation being the highlight of that conversation, which turned out to be... relevant. The next morning, after a rough experience at breakfast, I mentioned something at the front desk and Donna, the front-end manager, stepped in immediately, not defensively, but genuinely wanting to understand what happened and make it right. That kind of accountability is rare. Saturday night brought a similar hiccup at the bar, and Sayan handled it the same way: professionally, without hesitation. The room was exactly what I've come to expect from Kimpton, clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. But the real story here is the staff outside the restaurant. Dylan, Donna, Sayan, these are hospitality professionals who actually care, and it shows. The hotel itself earns every star.

Dining: TAQUERIA CENTRO -- 10 out of 10. The food and service were both exceptional. Manager Carlos did an outstanding job and was a true highlight of our stay. Prado -- 4 out of 10. We visited Prado twice during our stay. Our first visit was for breakfast -- the food was okay but noticeably overpriced for what was offered. Our second visit was a far worse experience. We were seated and waited 15 minutes without our server ever acknowledging us, so we got up and left. The service at this restaurant was consistently poor and the pricing did not reflect the quality or experience provided. Dining Options -- Room for Improvement. For a resort of this size and reputation, the dining options felt limited. We would strongly recommend adding at least one additional restaurant to give guests more variety. The snack and coffee shop, which could help fill that gap, closed far too early in the evening. Extending those hours would go a long way in improving the overall guest experience, particularly for those who want a light bite or a cup of coffee later in the day. The Room -- 6 out of 10. The room itself was nice, but there were several issues that fell well below the standard I would expect from a resort of this caliber. The bed was old and noticeably worn down, making for an uncomfortable night's sleep. To make matters worse, the comforter on the bed was torn and had visible holes in it -- something that should never make it into a guest room. We also struggled with the room temperature throughout the night and were unable to get it to cool down comfortably. A Bright Spot at Checkout: I spoke with Avery Williams, Director of Front Office, at checkout and she was genuinely outstanding. She was sincerely concerned about the issues we experienced and did everything she could to address them. She even followed up with an email after our departure, which was a very nice touch. Overall, I left feeling somewhat disappointed given the reputation of this resort. With a few improvements -- additional dining options, extended snack shop hours, updated room bedding and linens, and better temperature control -- along with a serious look at the service standards at Prado, this could easily be a 9 or 10 out of 10 experience.
