The BEST car experience I've ever had!!! I am writing such a long review because everyone should know, especially girlies who are afraid of car things, that this is the place to go!!! I'm a 24-year-old girl, who knows nothing about cars, so I was really stressed when my 2019 Subaru Forrester broke down out of nowhere a few nights ago. I am a AAA customer so I called them, and ended up waiting 4 hours with no response or ETA. It was getting really late, and I couldn't wait overnight for a tow truck to come, so I went to Yelp to find my own. That's when I found Nagy's place! The reviews truly speak for themselves, and I was elated to find an auto body shop with such great reviews. Especially for a young female, auto body shops can be a really scary and dehumanizing experience. The opposite happened with Nagy, despite it being 11 pm, he answered immediately and first made sure I was safe. He asked a few questions about the car and then let me know he was calling a tow truck for me. I asked the price, which was a very reasonable price, and he told me it would be there in 30 min (which I was already very pleased by!) The tow truck came in under 20 min, and the man was very friendly and efficient. When it came time to pay the tow truck driver, the cost was exactly what Nagy had told me. It was such a nice surprise for me since I have experienced people raising prices just because I am a young girl. Nagy was able to direct me where to drop my keys off and told me he'd call the next day with a diagnosis of what happened. Sure enough! He called and let me know what was going on and explained everything very clearly. He also made sure that I knew everything was an option, and that I didn't have to pay for any service I didn't want. I said yes to everything but new tires and Nagy gave me a quote. The quote was extremely reasonable and he told me the car would be fixed the next day when the new air filter came in! The next day I got a call from Nagy, and he explained something else was wrong, but he had done the research and realized that my Subaru Warranty would cover the part so he suggested fixing it at Subaru instead so it would be free (WHAT A GUY!!). He even offered to drive it to the Subaru shop for me, but I couldn't let him do that after all he has already done for me! Shortly after, I went to pick up the car from Nagy's shop to drive it to Subaru. His shop is so cool, with some really unique art pieces covering the walls. As I guessed, he is such a lovely human! He didn't talk down to me, or make any condescending remarks about me knowing nothing about cars (it has happened at other shops before). Instead, he made sure I understood what I needed to explain once I got to Subaru, and explained the services he had already done. When it came time to pay, the bill was UNDER what he had quoted in the first place. I was shocked and happily paid with a tip! Today, we were looking to replace the battery for our daughter's car (2010 Lexus RX 350). She is a student and she has a limited budget. When Nagi found out we already had the battery purchased, he offered to replace it for free. "It takes 10 minutes", he said. In today's society, you can't find people like Nagi who render services at no charge. Not only he changed the battery quickly, but also he inflated the tires since the pressures were low. I had a front deflector on the hood of my car that I couldn't remove myself, Toyota had quoted me 90$ to take a few screws out. So I called Nagy and he said to bring it over the same day, he fixed it and didn't charge me to remove it or anything! It was a little tricky because it wouldn't come off but he insisted he would do it and he did a wonderful job and was super patient! He even cleaned the front grille where the deflector was. Nagy at A Radius Auto Body is incredible. I really cannot say enough about him. As a woman, it can be very intimidating going to the mechanic. I always feel like they are adding unnecessary services, and I always leave with a very high bill. Working with Nagy is the first time I have not felt that way. He took the time to listen to me, and to explain everything. He sent photos of every area he examined. And he even refused to fix something that I wanted fixed (Im glad, bc I really had no idea what I was talking about lol), because he said it wasn't needed and he wasn't going to take my money for something that worked fine. My car has been running great since his repairs, and I left with a bill about 1/4 of the price I was expecting. I wish I could take him with me when I move back to Texas. I was looking for a place to get a smog check for my nieces car, and while driving the car started smoking. We happened to be driving by the Radius shop and decided to stop and ask if they did smog checks and asked about the smoke coming out of the car. Nagy informed me that they didn't do smog checks and and referred me to a smog test shop and gave me his card to let them know he referred me. He told me to bring the car back so he can check it. We were able to get the smog check done with a referral discount. We went back to Nagy for the smoke issue. He was able to fix the problem, he explained very clearly what the problem was. The owner Nagy is a super guy. Went in on a Saturday afternoon with 2 small dents, a fender missing a clip and a loose mud flaps. Expected a back forth and few hundred dollars. 15 minutes later I'm out with my bumper re-secured the mud flap clips replaced. I'm thinking $50. Nagy does not charge anything for the quick fixes and we agree just bring the car a weekday morning and he'll do the paint less dent removal for $125. This shop is great I brought my boyfriends car for a repair on his brakes after getting a competitive and reasonable quote via Yelp when I arrived I noticed that they had just moved into this location and the shop was really clean they did the whole work while I waited and Nagi kept me updated on the work being done he also recommended that the rear brakes need work but told me that I can wait a little bit more before I had to take care of it but explain that it would eventually needs to be taken care of I would definitely recommend this shop for anyone looking for an alternative to bringing the car to a dealer for repairs or maintenance thank you!! read more
