All I can say is wow! I was in a desperate situation late last Saturday evening and was googling mechanics in the area trying to find one open and willing to help. I ended up speaking with Nagy for 20 min about a situation with my car. I was freaked out that I'd accidentally done damage to my rear differential. I told him what happened and he kindly and patiently listened and then proceeded to tell me how he'd handle the situation and gave me confidence that everything was going to be fine. I've never met the man and it was Saturday night. He took time away from his weekend to help a total stranger with no expectations. Radius Auto Body is an excellent place to get your car body repaired. I triple bid a job for my 2008 Yukon, one at GM's body shop, Caliber, by an independent body shop and by Radius. Caliber was the high bid at $1400, followed by the body shop at $1200 and Radius at $800. The job that Nagy did was excellent. He is a perfectionist. I sideswiped a new pole in a parking lot which caused damage to the passenger running board and the door molding on the doors. Nagy got an excellent running board from a yard, repainted it, and it looks like new and functions perfectly. He painted the moldings to exactly match the silver Yukon color. Seriously, his side looks far better than the driver's side. A few month's later I was opening the passenger door at the same time my friend was unlocking it which damaged the actuator. I wasn't sure what the issue was but knew he'd know how to take the door apart to find the problem. Nagy was able to replace the actuator for under $300. That's a killer deal. And it has operated perfectly ever since. Then (ok, I'm experiencing some bad Karma car trouble), I damaged the front bumper (looked like a man punched the bumper). So I immediately came back to Nagy. You won't believe it. The total job would've been $1400 and I said I'd do the paint job later. He said that he'd see what he could do to suction the dent out. He heated it up, suctioned it out while I waited some 30 minutes. And then refused payment! I tried to give him $100 as mechanic hourly rates are running above $125 in SM. So as he dropped everything to help and was so kind, I figured I'd pay him $100. But he said no. I really tried. But I ask you, what car repair shop says no to money? Nagy is excellent at repair work, can do more than body work, is fair, and honest. You can't go wrong going to his shop. I highly recommend him. Plus, he's just a very nice guy. Fast ,great quality work for beyond reasonable prices. Weeks later I took my car in again to repair my curb-scratched rim and again VERY pleased with the results. Not only did they fix the rim but Nagy basically did a full inspection of the car and pointed out things that could use servicing. I recently bought my first new car in over a decade, and almost immediately ran it into a concrete pillar in my parking garage. I dented and scraped the rear door and quarter-panel pretty badly, and I was beside myself. It happened late in the day on a Saturday and I frantically tried to find a body shop that would take it off my hands that day because I simply couldn't deal. Nagy answered my call, stayed late so accommodate me, and proceeded to talk me down from my panic.
