Bought a used Kia Telluride in May 2026. I was satisfied with the terms of the purchase, including the trade-in value of my high-mileage Ford. I never felt there were any shenanigans occurring. Thanks to the finance guy (apologies for not getting your name) for walking me through a question I had. The service around that buying experience was great, particularly with the salesman (Less Morgan). I came in half an hour before closing and the team stayed late to complete the purchase without time pressure. We agreed the dealer would owe body work. The manager (Robert?) provided a loaner vehicle during the duration of that repair, which was appreciated. Less was great at communicating throughout the repair, and got Service to quickly address a concern I had the same day the vehicle was back from the body work despite a packed appointment schedule. read more

Several family members and I have purchased from Beyer in the past. But the place is going down hill now. They'll sell you a car, but service is a disaster. Most recently, I had a warning light and message come on for a particular function. They couldn't get me in for a month. I asked if it was safe to drive for that long. They told me they'd have someone call me back to let me know. Maybe they could get me in sooner. No call back, so I tried again. This time I called sales and the rep walked over to service to check. He told me he'd leave a note for them to call by the end of the day. No call. Pretty standard experience at Beyer now. I never heard back. I went to Dulles Kia - they got me in same day with a covered rental. They told me I shouldn't really wait on the situation and I had my car back in two days. The required part was covered under warranty. Save yourself the trouble. Try somewhere else. read more

We purchased a 2018 Kia Sorento from Don Beyer and immediately noticed afterwards that the electric seats would recline but not return to their upright position. The cost to fix this defect, which should have been caught by them before putting the vehicle up for sale, was more than $1200. They said electronics were not covered under their 3 month/3000 mile and only offered to cover half of the repair costs. BUYERS BEWARE! DECEPTIVE SALES PRACTICE!! I had a very disappointing experience with this dealership today. Earlier in the morning, I was texting with Nikki Aryabi about a vehicle she sent me. I specifically asked if the vehicle was a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicle. She confirmed that it was, even though the Carfax report showed otherwise. Based on that confirmation, I still decided to make the trip to the dealership. When I arrived, we agreed on a price for the vehicle. Her manager, Robert Graves, then came over to finalize the sale and verbally agreed that they would certify the vehicle as CPO. I was told the certification process would take about 1-2 hours. However, when they brought the paperwork for me to sign, it clearly stated that I would be purchasing the car "as-is," which would mean no CPO warranty at all. I refused to sign it because that was not what we agreed to. They then told me that they would get the vehicle ready and that I could come back later just to sign the paperwork once everything was completed. Instead, they essentially wasted my time and attempted to get me to sign paperwork that contradicted what had been promised. This felt like a classic bait-and-switch tactic. I expected better from a dealership of this size and reputation. Fortunately, I have screenshots of the entire text conversation confirming the CPO discussion, as well as photos of the paperwork they attempted to have me sign. I purchased a 2009 Audi R8 from Beyer Kia on 1/31/2026. After only 111 miles--literally just enough to drive it home--I discovered a serious issue: coolant was mixing into the engine oil, which can indicate major engine failure. The car displayed a "low coolant" warning; the coolant tank was empty and the oil milky. GM Melad "Milo" Razaq informed me of repairs Don Beyer Kia had done at Tyson Corner Audi prior to the sale on 1/20/2026. I later found invoices showing the same issue had previously been addressed, which was never disclosed at purchase. Milo also said Audi recommended an oil change after 500 miles, again undisclosed. The service manager at Tyson Corner Audi, Russ, said he advised Milo not to attempt repairs due to a serious potential problem, yet Kia tried to replace the oil cooler and sell it--a temporary fix. Audi also stated that if the engine needed replacement, none were available. When I asked Milo for a solution, he advised me to pay for towing and a new diagnosis over two hours away, despite this being a pre-existing problem. The car was advertised as being in good running condition, and my letter of rescission was denied. I cannot afford these additional costs for a high-end vehicle. Beyer Kia has not provided a satisfactory explanation or resolution. This dealership hides serious problems with their used cars, sells vehicles that cannot pass inspection, and completely ignores customers after payment. I bought a 2020 Nissan Altima from Beyer Kia Falls Church. The salesperson promised a three-month warranty, and I signed related paperwork, but no copy was ever given. When issues appeared, the dealer claimed the car was sold "as is" and refused responsibility. Soon after, I found the trunk missing foam support and tire-changing tools. The car failed Maryland inspection for worn tires, nearly worn-out brake pads, and a front bumper that had been glued on instead of fastened. It detached within a week. I called 14 times with no answer. Three times they said someone would call back but never did. When I asked for a manager, the call was dropped. The only reply was one email saying they were not responsible. I paid $680 for minimal repairs using the cheapest options, including used tires. Proper repairs with new parts would have cost around $1,500. They will likely reply here with "we're sorry, please contact us." If they truly reach out and fix the issue, I will update this review. If not, it proves my point--just another empty promise. read more

While visiting from SC, my 2017 KIA Sorento rear door gate latch broke. Beyer Kia worked me into their busy daily schedule to not only replace the latch but cleared two recall items for me. Oliver (Service Department Advisor) was courteous and kept me informed of the cost and availability for pickup so I could safely return back to my home in SC on time. Seat was covered in plastic, floor mat put down, exterior car wash and vacuumed interior. They also provided a courtesy ride to and from the dealership as I was close by. What shocked me the most was being told -- by a KIA service employee, no less -- that there's no real benefit to going to a KIA service department over your local auto shop. The service department is hit or miss. I have had great service but also not so great service. Like trying to tell me my wipers needed changed and wanting to take me to the bank to do it in order to pass a safety inspection. My wipers were new and I used them for 2 more years before replacing. What is most concerning is the KIA parts department. I ordered a second key for my daughter. I gave the man my daughter's vin and he placed the order. It took over a month to get the key to come in. When they keyed in the machine they used the wrong VIN (mine). I realized this when I went to use the key. When I called I got nothing but the run around, told the key could possibly still start her engine, then told her key has to be a key with key fob. None of this was mentioned my first phone call and I had a key without a key fob to my daughter's car already, so how is it not possible . When I brought this up, I was then told he would order another key and it would be in on Monday. Again it's been weeks like last time and still no call. I am done with them. Even though I am out $40 because they couldn't do a simple task, I refuse to deal with these idiots again. Do yourself a favor and save the headache, go somewhere else. It's been 3 months and I still do not have a second key--imagine if I was down to no keys and needed to drive my vehicle. Absolutely pathetic and incompetent. read more

Well, I just had my fifth service visit in five years, so I guess a report is in order. I bought a very nice, as new, less than 8k mile Cadenza from a different dealership in April of '19. I needed a Kia dealer to service it, and Beyer was one of the closer ones, and seemed easier get into and out of than others. I just yesterday had yet another annual service visit; one a year works for me, as I drive very few miles. My service advisor for this visit was Michael Torres, but my experience this time was similar to others. I typically look at recommended services for the mileage and time periods that are about where my car sits, and pick from them which to do. The dealership does exactly what I ask. There have been occasional visits in which they recommend a service that I have not specified, but in every case, it has been one that it would be quite reasonable to suggest, given the information that they have. More often than not, I may have good reason to say that I think the car can do without that for this round. (I have a little background in tires and auto service) Not a single time have they ever pushed harder to get me to do that service, after I said no to it. And never once did they suggest any service that was totally uncalled for, trying to run up a bill, as I have experienced at more than one other place. Always polite, and I do not recall a single time the estimate for time in shop was exceeded. The waiting area is very comfortable. Prices have always been reasonable, and I have been very happy with both the car, and the service I have received at Beyer. read more

Well this was an A+ experience!! I've had a company car for over 25 years and now I'm leasing a car. A Kia Soul. Very cute. It had a recall and I reached out to Beyer Kia in Falls Church. They were able to give me a very early appointment which I wanted and I was there at 7 AM this morning. Fantastic customer service and very helpful. Very clean waiting room and I was out by 8:00AM! They even let me know there was a second recall so they fixed that as well. To make it even better, I couldn't believe that they actually washed my car and vacuumed it. That was a wonderful surprise. First off I want to say this was the best experience I've had by far, purchasing a car. My salesperson Omar Pinto was so kind and understanding to what I was looking for in getting a new car. Omar was very down to earth and relatable. I was extremely comfortable with expressing exactly what I wanted and Omar was definitely taking notes and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. The next step was getting set up with the Finance Manager, Ari Rahman.... When I tell you this man has gone above and beyond to get me what I wanted, words just can't express how amazed I was with his customer service. Ari was able to get me such a great APR with a not so good credit score and this man answered about a million questions I had and he has never disappointed me. when it was time to come in and sign paperwork, everything was laid out so professionally and all I had to do was sign. I recently bought a 2023 Kia and was told that the maintenance package I purchased with the car was good for use at ANY Kia dealer. So, I showed up to my appointment at Beyer only to be told that they do not take my maintenance package. I called the maintenance package company and they said that they do indeed work with ANY Kia dealer who is willing to work with them. So, Beyer Kia service is choosing not to honor my contract. I meant to leave a review on the 29th because my experience was beyond exceptional. Side note: I wasn't prompted or paid to leave this review. I haven't had the best experiences as a woman at car service centers and have been tried to be taken advantage of by my lack of knowledge so I was initially dreading taking my car in. Let the story begin: Back story we bought a Kia Niro in July/August and last week my husband had to patch my tire. He called the dealer and was told I should bring it in to get inspected. I brought it in and was introduced to do Chris who took my car back and Rick was the mechanic who looked at my car. I was told that they could patch it but I was hesitant due to the patch my husband just placed. A short time later, Rick, came and explained exactly how they place a patch, etc. so I felt comfortable with his decision to patch it. This is where it took the over and above customer service turn. He came BACK to the lobby I was waiting in and admitted he found the patch that my husband placed and asked if I would rather get a new tire which I agreed given that I drive close to 75 miles a day round trip for work. Fast forward to check-out Chris gave me an invoice for $0 for the tire as it was covered under warranty AND he explained they fixed the open recall while I was there so I didn't have to make the 45 min commute back another day. They brought my car back rinsed and vacuumed. A completely unrelated event happened while I was at the dealer so my day wasn't feeling all that great. I hope Chris and Rick get a chance to read this and know what a difference they made in my day and turning it around for the better and restoring my faith that there are still honest car service centers around. This business exudes horrible customer service. Do not expect them to do anything after you sign your paperwork and take your car home. You will not be able to contact them / get ahold of the people you need to, and do not bother leaving a message. When you do get ahold of someone, they will act unprofessionally. It is abundant and widespread throughout their business, from the sales people, to the management team. To me it, it speaks of their culture. The worst experience I have ever had getting a car in my life. The accountability is not existent. When I ask about property taxes the sales manager says don't worry we'll take care of it. The lease rental fee is over $8000 for 3 years. I could have gotten a leased Audi for less than the price I am paying for in the same term. The biggest of scams! I am paying the nearly same sticker price for a small Kia Niro hybrid as a closer to medium size Hyundai Hybrid SUV. I have the biggest case of buyers remorse with this place. The main manager was basically like you signed the contract we aren't going to do anything to help you. He didn't care. He also gave me incorrect information about my lease payments. He said the money you pay each does not go to paying the car. When we called Kia finance they said we pay around $300 of the $510 of our monthly payment towards the car. The sales manager also ran my credit when we were trying to get a quote this week hurting my credit and didn't give me a price. He told me days later when I called that he would have to run my credit again if I want the numbers to finance the car we are leasing. Almost any random other dealership you go to outside of Kia is better. Even Hyundai has better offers, prices, and service discounts/freebies. read more

I don't understand what has happened to the service department at Beyer Kia, which is about 1 mile from my residence. A few years ago, they were very responsive and handled a significant warranty issue (twice) with my Kia vehicle very well and in a timely manner. Around November 2024, I was told it would be 5-6 weeks before they could schedule an appointment to diagnose a windshield wiper problem (inoperative), this time on a different Kia. More recently, a month ago, I was told it would be two weeks before they could service my car that had a check engine light for a cylinder misfiring (bad coil). Maybe it's because of availability of service technicians combined with the long Kia warranties but other Kia dealerships in the area and other brands have been able to schedule appointments with less delay. What's the use of a great warranty if your local dealership can't fix your car very quickly? read more

Having previously owned a Kia Forte, I find the brand dependable, reliable and responsive. Great experience throughout; I was never pressured, my questions were promptly answered, and I felt I was being dealt with honestly. Highly recommend Kia and, if you live in the metro-D.C. area, any of Don Beyer's dealerships. After visiting many other dealerships in the area, I found a different atmosphere here that made me feel comfortable and relaxed rather than pressured and conned.
