They walked me through each step of the process and took my consesus for everything, The work is so classy that the new addition is looking part of home. An appointment was scheduled, no one showed. After repeated calling to the business i got a text that the person there was overwhelmed and unable to answer the phone. She told me by text that she'd reschedule for the following week but never responded to texts sent back to her Do NOT use this unprofessional company. What a waste of time and thankfully I scheduled with a more well known company that turned out to be much less expensive. This company was listed on the existing radon mitigation system in our home, so we called them when we needed to have the system serviced for a real estate transaction. We scheduled an appointment (and I arranged to work from home to meet them). They were a no-show for a 1:30pm appointment. Call their office, but no answer. Emailed their office and got a reply (from a gal named Somer) saying they would arrive at 3:30pm instead. Guess what? They never showed up at 3:30 either. After that they wouldn't respond via phone or email. I found another company that was way more professional, and they came out immediately. Don't waste your time with this company. We called business after business, and everyone seemed booked. We sold our house, and part of the agreement was to have a radon system installed. We only had a few weeks, and it didn't look like we would be able to get it done in time. We called this business and they were able to squeeze us in. The system was installed in a few hours. I would definitely give this company 0 stars. In terms of installation - I couldn't tell you about that. The system was installed the month that I bought my home. I am writing a review for follow-up care. Called in November because the system they installed stopped functioning. I spoke to Betsy, she asked for pictures which I sent and said she'd get back to me. I never heard back so a few days, possibly a week went by and I reached out. She said she was waiting for another call to come in around the area since I am so far (Chicago). Okay. I waited and then forgot which was entirely my fault. I had a very very fresh newborn to take care. Months later - I call back in January. Betsy said I must have spoken to someone else. She said she would take care of it. Asked for pictures again. Said she'd call back. Again - she did not call back. I called her, she said she was waiting for another call by me because it's so far. Mind you, she also said there's a $150 fee just for them coming out to me - which was fine, I just needed the issue resolved. She said she didn't forget about me - in fact she was going to make sure they got to me by the end of next week. That brings us today. The end of what was next week and I just called. She said they'd get to me next week. I'm pretty patient and understanding but this is by far - leaps and bounds the WORST company I have ever dealt with. I held out for as long as I could because of the warranty (less than a year since installation!). Extremely unprofessional, absolutely no communication and lack of customer service. I called another company and they scheduled me in 5 minutes and they'll be here tomorrow. They are also 25 miles away. No warranty from them but oh well. read more

Just a few words to let you know how our experience with Radon Rescue went, easy as pie. With our closing less than 2 weeks away, we found out that we had a Radon problem. Radon Rescue was suggested by our realtor. We contacted Betsy and explained the situation. She juggled some assignments and was able to schedule us the next day. The crew arrived on time and explained what they would need to do and went to work. Upon completion they went over the system, the warranty, and how to recognize when the system was working. I happened to mention that we also needed to get a wall crack in the foundation repaired and the crew chief, Alan (or Adam?), told me that Radon Rescue also did that kind of work. He gave us a quote on the spot and said that they could schedule the repair in two days. Again everything went smooth. Crew was on time, courteous, and left the area spotless. Thanks to Radon Rescue, we were able to resolve the buyers issues and closing without any delays. If you need radon remediation or foundation repairs, give them a call. You will be happy you did. This company installed a radon mitigation system on the home I purchased. It was installed in March 2017. The unit is very loud and uses lots of electricity. The company does not respond to emails or phone calls. Do NOT use this company!!! read more

We bought a new home and were stuck with these guys to install a radon mitigation system. They installed it last fall. Early this spring, after the first rain, we had gfi shorts and we couldn't use half of the outlets in our kitchen. Since our radon mitigation system was on the same circuit, and the radon system wasn't working either, we started looking at that. We discovered that they had not sealed the outside switch box when they installed the system. The box then filled with water. We had to replace the switch and the wiring, because it was also ruined by the rain. When we emailed to complain, the owner said we should have called them to fix it. Why would we have someone come back who was so obviously incompetent? He was very rude on the phone. If they install anything, better have a licensed electrician check their work. read more
