Ryan, the brave soul, showed up at our door ready to battle a very moody washing machine. Ryan diagnosed the problem almost immediately and repaired and ordered the parts we needed. Ryan was on time and very professional- likable. I can tell you the reason I use Radtke Appliance is for this very service. Costco and Best Buy would not be able to measure up. Do NOT use them if you are chemically sensitive!! We asked them multiple times before the delivery to not wear fragrance. My entire home smells like fragrance with them being here for 30 minutes. My throat is burning and I feel sick. "Oh, we don't wear fragrance"... laundry detergent, deodorant, cologne, lotion, shampoo, on and on. read more

I have always been proud to support this local business over the years. I've made several purchases, and while there were glitches, I've stood resolute to support local entrepreneurs. My position on Radke has unfortunately changed. After being convinced to buy a top of the line Bosch dishwasher, they have failed to stand by a flawed product or deliver timely customer service. After waiting a week for a repairman, a service call was scheduled and a time window given. I missed work to accommodate their schedule to only be given a call 30 minutes before the time table expired to say "something came up." I've been without my "top of the line" dishwasher for over two weeks and no resolution in sight. I'm sad I put my faith and hard earned dollars into this company that does not care about repeat customers. I will never be a customer at Radke again. Buyers beware. read more

I live in Brookfield, but I go to Oconomowoc to buy appliances from Radtke. I really like the family style customer service. My daughter lives in Oconomowoc and recommended them to me. Also, they are full service when you need a repair. When they can, they will help you fix it over the phone--like the red light that appeared out of nowhere on the GE microwave. I called ahead to verify they had stove hoods and that they could install them. I walked around the showroom for 20 minutes before someone became available to help me. The salesman, then proceeded to tell me that they don't install stove hoods, one star for abysmal lack of internal communication. And I'll never buy something from them now. read more

We just moved into a new house only to find out that most of the appliances needed to be replaced, despite the seller claiming they were new. All the folks at Radtke Appliance have been amazing through the whole process. They started by answering questions and trying to help us fix appliances so we didn't have to replace them. This worked for the refrigerator and the dish washer but not the wash machine. With 2 kids and a dog, we do a ton of laundry so we don't survive long without a washer/dryer. Team Radtke was willing to fix it with a part (that was available in a day) but we decided to treat ourselves to a new washer/dryer pair. They delivered it in 2 days. Their prices were unbeatable (I know because I searched extensively), delivery was flawless, and their follow up has been incredible. I was shocked to see bad reviews listed because I can't fathom a bad experience. After so many great experiences with customer service, I'd question the type of person who wrote the bad review. I'm the second generation trying to support local business by buying from Radtke. I bought all of my appliances from them 20 years ago and have been happy with everything, but recently went in to look at replacing a few items and found staff to be rude and unprofessional. I left without buying for this reason and because I had concern about whether those we were interacting with were vaccinated (there were no COVID protocols being implemented). Unfortunately, I'll be taking my business elsewhere for my new round of appliances. read more

Beware of the items sold here. We were sold a refrigerator that we were later told is problematic after it completely failed a year and half after purchase. Then the dishwasher we bought had the pump damaged from broken glass and after four visit from the repair person because he twice order the wrong parts (he admitted) and $350 later we received an email detailing excuses from the sales person after we emailed the company our displeasure. They pride themselves on customer service, but with each appliance it took four or more attempts to get them repaired (well, the fridge only last another year and half after it was repaired). $1000 fridge done in three and a half years. read more

My clothes dryer needed a service appointment and so did the rest of the appliance world. My service call date was open ended with a promise to get here as soon as possible. True to their promise, "soon" happened yesterday and Radtke Appliance sent a technician to make my dryer whole again. Gary was great! I have bought several appliances at Radtke since I moved to the area two years ago, and I honestly would not want to go anywhere else. Their staff is incredibly professional and knowledgable about their products, and they don't work on commission so you really feel like they are giving you their honest advice. They really take time with you to talk over what your needs are, answer all your questions, and help you find the right appliance. As a first time home owner, I had never purchased an appliance before I first went in a year ago to buy a washer and dryer, and they really helped me through the whole process. I would say it is worth it to go for the staff alone, they are awesome. Don't waste time googling questions about appliance buying, just go to Radtke. Also, their prices are really competitive with the big box store prices, and they have been able to give me some really excellent deals. Today my second purchase from Radtke (a fridge) was delivered and installed, and I couldn't be happier (shoutout to Andrew and Ian who delivered it, they were professional, fast, and friendly - thank you!). They called yesterday to tell me what window they would be arriving in, and called today 20 minutes before they arrived so I was prepared. Best part of the delivery is that they take away your old machines for you! We are hoping to replace our oven and stove in the next few years, and I already can't wait to go back. I stopped in on a Thursday at about 11 AM. My dishwasher had quit, I hate doing dishes. I told them at Radke's what was wrong and a very pleasant lady said that it could be a couple of days to get a repair man out. To my pleasure, I got a call at about 230 that afternoon. The repair man wanted to come out and take a look at it. It needed a new control system which had to be ordered from Michigan. The next day by 1:00 PM the repair man had my part and came to fix my dishwasher, I had just started washing the dishes from the dishwasher. Needed repair on GE refrigerator. Did not buy from them but purchased a washer and dryer and another refrigerator from them. Called on a Tuesday and was told service man would call me back within two days. No call. So called again on Thursday and was told he was very busy and sometimes takes 4 to 5 days to call back. It is now Wednesday and still no call. I like to support local business but I can get this level of poor service from the big box stores. read more

The installers just left after removing our old machines and installing our new washer and dryer. We were very impressed with the extreme care that was take during the entire process. Part of their install included a thorough explanation of how to use the machines and what to expect with our high efficiency washer. First off we made a appointment for there service team to come out n fix our refrigerater,no ice or water.Wicth means for us, sombody has to take off work, ok my girl friend did,they never showed up or gave courtesy call saying they werent.So i orderd the part through them., Picked it up, went to install wrong part.Ok ? ABSOLUTLE NO REFUND,Well they didnt tell me that before they ran my cc card in full.Well after a conversation with the @#$% gall that orderd it that wouldnt let get a word in edge wise they agreed to a 25.00 restocking fee.Ok tried ordering the right part and they almost orderd the wrong part.They didnt even know with the model # what it was or if it worked.Im thinking they just want restocking fees.I orderd it on line cheaper free shipping and no problems with returns..TRY COLDERS...BETTER PRICES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.... read more
