First off the restaurant was clean and the service was good. DO NOT GET THE CATFISH! Ours was mushy. That's the only way I can describe it, the batter was crispy and good like it should be. the sides we had were good but the entree was terrible. DONT GET THE CATFISH! We timed it right, and only waited five minutes for a table. Salads were quick and food came out reasonable time hot and tasty. Really cute place! No overhead music, so great for conversation. And...clean restrooms! A must! Ordering desert to go. We will be back! read more

We came in today, Friday Jan.30, 2026 at a little after 5:00 pm. I know it had only been open about a half hour and the parking lot was already filling up, but there was still a lot of seating. They were quick to great us at the table and enough time to look at menu and got out drinks. My husband got the evening pork sandwich which comes with a potatoe in the dinner hour (not at lunch). I had the chicken fried steak. It came with a good fresh salad, and I had the baked potatoe instead of the choice of 2 sides. I got the white gravy on the chicken fried steak, but you can get brown. Mine was all good. My husband also liked his fried pork sandwich. It was big enough that my husband cut it in half to fit both pieces on top of each other on the bun. There were fresh fixins on the sandwich too. It was a freezing cold day so I also ordered coffee. The coffee was good. They don't give you a spoon when giving you flatwear, so ask for a spoon if you need one for coffee or anything else. We will come back. What we ordered was good. By the time we finished, tables were full, so a few people had to wait at the door for a table. read more

We were quickly seated and our drinks were brought out by a very pleasant young man. Our waitress walked by numerous times without ever acknowledging our existence. She came to take our order after we waited over ten minutes. She kind of grunted at us and I decided I was over it and we left. I want to be clear our food wasn't bad. Though I wasn't blown away either. We had the BBQ plate with brisket, chicken, sausage. It was was decent and honestly like something you'd find at a catered wedding. We also had the chicken beast supper. The chicken was tenderized with a hammer. No big deal just not something I'm used to. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were flakes and the green beans were more than likely frozen ones. Either way. It was a good meal for two guys plus one beer. We spent $40 which I feel like is why I'm giving 3 stars. Seemed steep for the product. I will try again. I'm not picky about my BBQ, and I typically ask for 2 things: 1) a good sauce and 2) the meat not be dry. The sauce they offer is decent, but it's not much different than the Sweet Baby Ray's stuff you can buy at Dollar General and the Burnt Ends were dry both times. They have good service and are typically very quick when it comes to things like refills. Their wait staff is also pretty good when it comes to questions about the menu, but the BBQ leaves a lot to be desired. read more

This was our first visit referred by a shop we visited in town. First off they don't open until 4pm and there was a line waiting to be seated . That's says enough right there. I use to like Little Big Horn. I hadn't eaten there since the location changed. I went with my son tonight to enjoy a good meal and his company. I was very dismayed to look up and in the middle of the table was a sign that said "All Steak and Prime Rib has increased $3.00 higher than menu" with a picture of Biden pointing to the sign saying "That's all me" & "I did that". Ignorant, stupid and a real buzzkill. If you want robust business, leave the politics in the parking lot! I won't be going back, and I've spread the word among my neighbors and will continue to do so. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion... but we're not all of the same opinion. Probably the best food in Sedalia and reasonably priced. It's noisy, but it's worth it!

Excellent food, fantastic service. They have moved to a new location. Easy access ample parking.
