I used to come here all the time and then I moved away so when we moved back to the area this year, I wanted to see if they were still good, sadly no they aren't. My return experience was so disappointing and expensive. We ordered two fajita burritos and queso. The chicken in the fajita burrito was large cubes that tasted like day old meat. It was smothered in very wet bell peppers and onions that made the already unpleasant burrito unpleasant. There was hardly any rice and I never found the cheese or sour cream. I ate (barely) half of the burrito, which was the same situation for my daughter and then we threw the rest of the food away. The queso was lukewarm and didn't taste like anything. The chips were so old it would've been almost funny at this point had we not spent almost $40 for two burritos and queso. On top of that, we complained to the restaurant and it went unacknowledged and unanswered. Never again, I hate that my good memories of this place was ruined in one visit. read more

We arrived and noticed the shared parking lot that we had actually been to for another nearby restaurant. It was the usual scan-and-pay setups, but the pricing was kinda weird--$7 for 30 minutes or $19 for three hours. No in-between. I went with the $19 options this time. We walked into the outdoor patio area and were told we could sit wherever we liked. A few tables were open, the layout was relaxed and casual. Our server came by and handed us the drink menu. There weren't many beer options, so we both went with the Raging Mexican Lager. Not long after, she returned with the food menus. After looking them over, Wifey ordered the Carnitas burrito bowl, and I went for the jerk chicken and pineapple burrito. Our beers arrived shortly after and the food followed surprisingly fast. We both dug in and were pleasantly surprised--everything tasted great, and the portion sizes were just right. After we finished, we walked through the restaurant and realized the front entrance opens directly onto downtown Decatur Square. This restaurant is a staple of downtown Decatur. From its charming decore to their attentive staff, I have to say that it's one of my favorite spots to visit in Decatur. Obviously they are know for 'rolling fatties' meaning their gigantic baby-size brurritos. Filled to the brim with delicious goodness. Besides those, their selection of tacos and quesadillas are also quite impressive. On this occasion, we tried the raging monster quesadilla with chicken. Not only was it enormous in size.. it was also enormous in flavor. Too big to eat in one sitting for me. The tacos are usually pretty good here. My favorite ones are the carnitas tacos.. which I opted to skip on this trip. Instead I had the Baja Fish Tacos.. which were ok.., but definitely not as tasty and flavorful as some of the other options. Raging Burrito and Taco is a cool, dive-bar style Mexican spot in the heart of downtown Decatur. My husband and I were in the area and felt like grabbing some tacos. We decided to sit on their patio since it was a nice day. Even though it was pretty packed on this particular Saturday, we were able to find a table with no issue. A little tip: if you check in on Yelp, you get a free chips with chili con queso dip. We both ordered margaritas- one blood orange and one georgia peach. Both were pretty good, just a little on the sweet side. For entrees, we each got the two taco plates with rice and beans. I got a steak and baja fish taco with a side of guacamole. The steak taco was delicious! The meat was tender and plentiful. Wasn't a huge fan of the fish taco. Not sure what type of fish they used but it didn't taste fresh. Plus, the breading was mushy and the oil used for frying tasted old. All in all, I thought the service was very good and the overall vibe was fun. Ate here last night through door dash. We got a Cajun burrito and a raging queso burrito. They were so big and hearty, love that! There were filling and tasty too!! My only complaint is that their menu when ordering does t seem to be set up right. For instance the queso burrito states that it comes covered in queso but when selecting options for it, it tries to add $3 to add queso. The Cajun burrito states it can come with Cajun spiced meat, but it's not an option to select as a meat. They advertise having 16 beers on tap outside but there are only about 4 (Trust me, they want to change the sign too, LOL) Service is always great, we love when Ashanti works the bar! I haven't been here in years but recall enjoying the burrito I had on my first visit. My most recent dine in was earlier this month on a Thursday evening around 8pm; the weather was lovely and perfect for outside dining. I guess everyone had the same idea because the patio was packed, and the inside was pretty empty with the exception of a large party.   This is the perfect spot for an Americanized Mexican meal for carnivores, vegetarians, and sometimetarians. You can enter the outside patio through the front or back and it's first come first serve and seat yourself. You place your order at the makeshift ordering station outside. I definitely recommend checking out the menu online so you're ready to order when you arrive. Once you order you get a number to take to your table and your meal is brought out to you.   I had the nachos with tofu, and it was a very large portion with lots of yummy toppings, tofu was seasoned well, and the dish was very good! The guacamole side was simply good, definitely a must for a starter. The peach margarita was strong and delicious.   Overall, I really enjoyed my meal and would dine here again and sit outside. Don't forget street parking is free after 6pm so don't waste your money parking in a paid lot if you can find a spot on the street.   Servers were working hard, made sure tables were being turned and food was brought out timely.
