Sat on the patio and the vibes are great! Art in the walls, lights hanging over the tables, and a fountain in the middle. I ordered a 2 taco plate - was teetering between ordering the veggie or brisket and the waiter let me know that they're known for the brisket. The menu does state the brisket is spicy so I was a tad worried, but it was good and surprisingly my second taco (Baja fish) was spicier.

Came back after a few years and the place is still pretty good. The restaurant is clean and the staff friendly and attentive. Our food was pretty good as well, we had the Monster Nachos and Fajita burrito. Still a great place to eat in downtown Decatur

Great food, great fellowship, great drinks! Raging Burrito and taco was a great meal stop while headed to a book release/discussion! There menu spoke everything mexican and authenticity! We street parked for about $4 for 2 hours. Which was perfect. We were seated immediately! They were playing music but not loud. It smelled so good in there. The spoces and herbs were there. Our waitress was extremely helpful. I ordered a mixed margarita with pomegranate and mango FROZEN w/ tajin on the rim. $10.50 For my meal, I ordered Jamaican Jerk Burrito BOWL Famous jerk chicken , light sour cream, & salsa added guacamole and sundried tomatoes $12.95 plus add on cost $4.50 Everything was amazing especially the drink! If I am ever in the area, I will make Raging my choice. Thanks Raging and SYOY!

A friend suggested we grab a bite here since it's one of his favorite spots. He ordered the nacho platter, which looked great, while I went with a burrito. Unfortunately, I was pretty underwhelmed. It wasn't what I expected from a burrito--more like a soft chimichanga, heavy on vegetables, and it tasted slightly undercooked. If I decide to revisit, I'll definitely try the nachos instead.

Great mexican style restaurant located at downtown Decatur, sport bar ambience, good music, service was fast and friendly, food was delicious, we ordered some chips, guacamole, burritos and tacos, everything was hot and fresh made. Recommended for families and friends

I came to Raging Burrito for a happy hour event and had a great experience. They gave us our own dining room and basically let us take over. I had a delicious cocktail and sampled the chips and salsa--the salsa here is fabulous. I was impressed that there was always at least one server taking care of our group so we could place our orders super quickly despite being a large group. I can't wait to return in summer to try out the patio--it looks like fun!

Yes! Yes! Yes! One of the best Mexican spots in Decatur! Such great quality of food! Awesome for vegetarians too! They have delicious ingredients, great portions for the price & awesome service! Parking can be a pain but it's worth it, I promise.

We love Raging Burrito & Taco and go here very often. Every time we bring any guest they love the fat burritos and it's delicious with a great patio vibe in the back. We usually get margaritas that are great but also got some mocktails last time and those were honestly some of the best drinks we've had in quite awhile!

I used to come here all the time and then I moved away so when we moved back to the area this year, I wanted to see if they were still good, sadly no they aren't. My return experience was so disappointing and expensive. We ordered two fajita burritos and queso. The chicken in the fajita burrito was large cubes that tasted like day old meat. It was smothered in very wet bell peppers and onions that made the already unpleasant burrito unpleasant. There was hardly any rice and I never found the cheese or sour cream. I ate (barely) half of the burrito, which was the same situation for my daughter and then we threw the rest of the food away. The queso was lukewarm and didn't taste like anything. The chips were so old it would've been almost funny at this point had we not spent almost $40 for two burritos and queso. On top of that, we complained to the restaurant and it went unacknowledged and unanswered. Never again, I hate that my good memories of this place was ruined in one visit.

Cinco De Mayo dinner for 2 It was Cinco de Mayo, and we threw together a last-minute plan to grab some Mexican food. We made our way down to Decatur to check out Raging Burrito, a place we hadn't tried before. I'd passed by it a few times but had never stopped in to eat. We arrived and noticed the shared parking lot that we had actually been to for another nearby restaurant. It was the usual scan-and-pay setups, but the pricing was kinda weird--$7 for 30 minutes or $19 for three hours. No in-between. I went with the $19 options this time. We walked into the outdoor patio area and were told we could sit wherever we liked. A few tables were open, the layout was relaxed and casual. Our server came by and handed us the drink menu. There weren't many beer options, so we both went with the Raging Mexican Lager. Not long after, she returned with the food menus. After looking them over, Wifey ordered the Carnitas burrito bowl, and I went for the jerk chicken and pineapple burrito. Our beers arrived shortly after and the food followed surprisingly fast. We both dug in and were pleasantly surprised--everything tasted great, and the portion sizes were just right. After we finished, we walked through the restaurant and realized the front entrance opens directly onto downtown Decatur Square. Like I mentioned, I'd passed this spot before, but this was our first time dining here--and we'll definitely be coming back. The food was excellent.

There are quite a few places for burritos in downtown Decatur, but this spot is my favorite. The burritos really are huge and tasty. Inside is nice, but we prefer the outdoor patio. We've always received good service here too.

This was the first place I ate in when I came to Decatur for the first time, so I had some high hopes. I wound up getting a raging queso burrito but wanted it in a bowl because it looked like one of their signatures. However, I think they forgot about my order because my friends got their food much quicker than mine and the server came to apologize about the delay. Although I asked about getting it in a bowl, it still came as a burrito. I enjoyed the mushrooms inside, but I was hoping for a cheesy filling too. It also looked small. I got the Georgia peach margarita for around $10. The peach flavor could have been stronger but it paired well with the sourness. The parking situation could have been better. It's next to a paid lot and street parking.

The burritos here are AMAZING and GIGANTIC. Definitely a good place to stop if you're starving and need food quick because the burritos come out fast. I was unable to finish mine and I had leftovers for the next day. The space is also large, I went on a Sunday afternoon at a random time so there weren't that many people but I can tell it probably gets busy. It seems like a great hangout spot or place for a group get together

Needs improvement on recipes. ASAP. Margs were horrible and so was queso. I usually go and have a great time but they missed the mark.

Small enough that if two people exhale at the same time, someone has to step outside. And yet -- the tacos are outrageously good. The shrimp tacos arrive like they have something to prove. The shrimp are perfectly seasoned, juicy, and packed into warm tortillas with the confidence of a restaurant charging triple the price in Midtown. Then come the fish tacos: crispy, flaky, absurdly satisfying little miracles that make you temporarily forget every bad seafood taco you've suffered through in your life. There's barely any seating inside, but there are a couple of benches out back in the open air where you can sit, contemplate your life choices, and wonder why you've spent money at chain restaurants when this place exists. Now we must discuss the horchata situation. I am convinced horchata at Los Niños is either a legend, a social experiment, or a spiritual concept. They *never* have it. Ever. At this point, I assume someone walks in every morning asking for horchata and the staff simply whispers, "Not since the incident..." Still, none of it matters because the tacos are phenomenal. You leave slightly cramped, mildly confused about the beverage program, but deeply happy.

Can you say hell to the yeah yeah yeah on Yelp? If not forgive me…read more I visit the Dekalb Farmers Market and have seen this location several times as I've driven past the location. I've told myself a couple of times to stop by and finally had an opportunity yesterday. When I'm stressed I seek out two things. Tacos and boiled peanuts. I came onto Yelp and looked for Mexican restaurants near the farmers market and this one was at the top of the list. I was also having a mini reunion with a friend that I haven't seen in over 17 years. There is limited seating and most of the tables will comfortably fit two people. I had to keep my purse in my lap, because I was uncomfortable leaving it hanging on the chair since our table was snug against a wall and there was no where to actually leave it so it would be out the way. The red salsa that comes with the chips is extremely spicy in my opinion. I had to drown mines in the green salsa just to be able to eat it. I went with the pork, chicken and one shrimp taco. Upon return, I could simply get the pork and chicken ones and be happy. I bought a total of six and ended up taking two to-go. These are real street tacos with corn tortillas, plenty of filling and just a simple delight. My margarita was strong enough for a Sunday afternoon of smiles, and long conversations. I think it was pretty brisk business for a Sunday and lots of people were taking their food to go, so there were tables opening up if you're willing to wait. There is also a patio table out back near the parking lot but it was too hot to sit outside if I didn't have to. Next time I have a farmer's market trip planned, I'm sure to stop here. I want to try the 12 tacos for $30 but I need at least two friends to finish it off. 5 star!!!

We visited after a graduation celebration and were looking forward to a memorable meal. The experience got off to a rough start with hosts who were not particularly warm or welcoming. Once seated, things only went downhill. Our waiter seemed disorganized from the beginning. We ordered appetizers first, but they arrived at different times, and to make matters worse, the graduate in our party received her main entrée at the same time the rest of us were receiving appetizers. I politely explained that it didn't make sense for one guest to be eating her entrée while everyone else was still eating appetizers and waiting for their meals. His response was confusing and didn't really address the issue, so we let it go. Unfortunately, the graduate's steak was served cold. Rather than preparing a fresh one, the restaurant simply took it back and returned it about two minutes later. It appeared to be the exact same steak based on how we had left it when it was sent back, and while I'm not sure whether restaurants typically reheat food or prepare a new dish altogether, this one was reheated. To make matters worse, the graduate ended up with a stomachache after eating it. As we continued waiting, our entrées never arrived. The waiter was polite but extremely inattentive. We repeatedly had to flag him down because he rarely checked on our table. After a VERY long wait, I asked about the rest of our meals. At that point, he admitted that he had forgotten to place our entree orders altogether. He then had to take all of our orders again and submit them to the kitchen. By the time our food finally arrived, we were no longer hungry and were extremely frustrated, despite remaining patient and courteous throughout the entire experience. The entrées were decent, but nothing exceptional, especially considering the extremely excessive wait and service issues. The waiter did bring a small dessert for the graduate, which was a nice touch, but it felt more like a complimentary gesture because he had forgotten our entrées than a genuine celebration of the occasion, especially given how disastrous the overall experience had been. What should have been a joyful graduation celebration turned into an exhausting and disappointing dining experience. While the waiter was polite, the service was slow, disorganized, and lacking attention to detail. Overall, this was a poor first experience and not one I would be eager to repeat.

I understand the policy and fully support it; I don't understand the hostility. My husband was third in line and there were more than three open tables. Our 3-year-old twins were getting in the way in the crowded line, so I took them to an empty table while we waited--after specifically confirming there were plenty more available than the 2 people in front of us. The table "monitor" immediately came over with an incredibly rude attitude and said he "doesn't care about kids--everyone else has kids." A simple, polite request to wait would have sufficed. Note that I had also had already purchased a margarita so I wasn't at the table empty handed. The superiority complex would be amusing if the restaurant were good, but it isn't. The line looks long but it's by design to make it look more popular than it is. There's only one person taking orders near the door to create the optics that the line is long. The food itself is bland and under-seasoned. We left, spent our money elsewhere, and won't be back. If you have young kids, this is clearly not a place that wants your business.
