Closed when they said it would be open

We made a reservation for a group of 22 people and even reconfirmed it ahead of time. To make matters worse, we had already paid the day before. Everyone in our group had to rearrange their schedules and take time off to make these plans. After driving approximately 1.5 hours, with several kids excited and ready to have fun, we arrived only to find the place closed and not operating at all. The experience was extremely disappointing and showed a complete lack of communication and professionalism. The only explanation we were given was that the employee who helped us "doesn't work here anymore," as if that somehow excuses the situation or makes it our responsibility. When customers reserve, confirm, and pay in advance, they should be able to expect the business to honor those arrangements. Instead, our entire group was left stranded after investing significant time, money, and effort. I would not recommend this business based on our experience.

We got lost getting to the park. Google maps will take you to their employee parking. Take Via Verde til you get to a large sign splitting Raging Waters and Bonelli Park. Parking is $25 for general and $75 for preferred. Then you take a tram to the water park. The trams seemed quite frequent so we didn't have to wait long for one. Their website has restrictions of bags you can carry in but to my surprise we saw people bring in wagons and large non-clear bags. So really think you can carry what you need into the park. They have areas for toddlers and really restrict the height. If you are too tall even as a kid they don't allow you on. Great so not as scary and the Littles don't have to fight with the big kids but parents are also not allowed on the slides with the kids. Luckily mine got the courage to slide alone. The lazy river looked like most people had to walk it due to lack of free tubes. I noticed when we went to the wave pool people had tubes so I assume some people just hold on to the tubes for their entire stay. If you choose probably due to this reason you can pay to rent a tube. We didn't go on too many other rides due to having a toddler but overall fun experience. Food was OK. We got a cheeseburger and chicken sandwhich which come with fries. A bit dry but OK. I guess healthier haha without the extra sauce. Middle of the day was so hot we got a soft serve dolewhip and it was delicious! Swirl of pineapple and strawberry in a cup with a cone. Usually the park is $40 per visit. My little one won tickets so it was an awesome experience for free tickets. Would I come at $40 per person? Would need to think about...but fast slides also make me nervous...but my own personal preferences/issues haha

My son and I desperately needed to unwind, so we decided to visit this water park and enjoy a fun local experience. The park is cashless, so be sure to bring a credit or debit card. We brought backpacks, and luckily, lockers are available for rent if needed. Parking passes are available 25.00 or 75.00 you decide what's best for you. There's a variety of food options, including burgers, chicken, tacos, and plenty of sweet treats. The lines were moderate, but the fun was non-stop! Overall, we truly enjoyed our time and can't wait to visit again.

We had an amazing time yesterday at this water park. Not too crowded, water was a little bit cold but once in I got immune . Has a lot of food variety, tacos, burgers , pizza, churros and ice cream. We got the cabana in front of the wave park and the extreme high slide. You need reservation and extra pay for that place. It holds at least a party of 15-20 people We really enjoyed it.

We had a great time! The lines moved as we expected for a Saturday. The slides were super fun! Loss of star for two attractions being closed. The drop out slides and the pool where the Lilly pads are. Food was good, lots of choices for all lifestyles. Pro tip: I booked my session using GetOutPass, where I get access to multiple local venues similar to GoCity. Use coupon code: sale1 for an extra $5 discount on top of existing promotions

Went on Memorial Day, so of course it's was packed, we arrived 30 minutes before the park opened and the line was already long, we were able to get a good spot with lounge chairs. The food is expensive as expected, we ordered chicken tenders from Sharkeys, and unfortunately I found pieces of hair in my food. I didn't bother complaining though. The staff here is really nice and helpful! The restrooms need some MAJOR cleaning. Overall, we had a good time and would come back.

Key points off the top of my head. Entrance is on Via Verde it's easier. General parking is $25 which usually means you park on a dirt lot and take a tram or bus to the front gate. When leaving, the tram lines do get really long but they do have plenty of trams and buses that move people along pretty fast. Preferred parking is $75 and it's the parking lot infront of entrance. -No hard coolers allowed. I did see wagons and soft coolers. They usually ask you to toss opened drinks out before entering. -They have great lifeguards who actually do their job! -Management is always walking around aswell. -Security doesn't Eff around, a group of teenagers were messing around and being obnoxious and they were approached by security and they immediately changed their behavior. -If you are allergic to bees beware because there are a ton of them.

We had a lot of fun here, but there are so many things that need to be improved that I can only give them 3 stars. My first tip is that it's essential to arrive early to maximize your day. Lines are shortest in the morning just getting into the park and then for the rides. I would recommend arriving to the park 30 minutes early at least. We were disappointed that we chose Aqua Rocket as our first ride of the day only to find that it was not open yet. The blue curved slide for Bombs Away was also not open at the start of the day. Aqua Rocket really needs some kind of shade covering for the line, and it also sorely needs a tech update--my kids got stuck on the ride and the line was so slow because the ride kept breaking down. Also there needs to be a way for single riders to be able to ride Dr. Von Dark's ride and Dark Hole--I had to skip the rides because we had 5 in our party. But my kids said those were two of the best rides, along with High Extreme and Aqua Rocket. Probably my top complaint is that people who don't want to pay for a locker claim tables that are supposed to be for the general public by putting their stuff on them for the whole day. We had the hardest time finding somewhere to sit for lunch because of this and a couple times we were told by people that the table was "their table." Raging Waters, you need to institute a rule that this isn't allowed. People who do this should get their property confiscated. If they want a table for the whole day, they should pay for a Cabana. Another problem we had was with getting lunch. Although we started waiting around 1 pm, it took about an hour of waiting in line before we actually got to the front, ordered our food and received our food. When we got to the front of the line, we realized that the problem was due to being understaffed. Raging Waters really needs to hire more workers to have things running efficiently. Unlike other reviews, however, I didn't have any problems with the lifeguards manning the rides or pools, overall they seemed fine although mostly high school kids. Also the park was not as dirty or trashy as reviewers mentioned, although it's definitely not up to the standard of Disneyland. We didn't have any problems with the standard parking or the trams, but we also arrived early (20 minutes) which I think helped. They raised the price of premium parking to $75 (!!!) which is pretty unbelievable. Lastly, I don't think the meal deal they are offering is worth it, not for us anyways. We saved more money by finding discount tickets from Tripster for $41 than by getting the meal/ticket combo for $60. (See pic of Pipeline Pizza Express menu) But like I said, we had a lot of fun and we would return. I just hope that next time I will see some improvements from Raging Waters on these issues.

My friends and I found a Groupon for raging Waters recently and decided to take a little group of us, along with our friends, eight-year-old son. Overall, it was pretty fun. It looks a lot bigger when you're a kid so if you go back later on as an adult be prepared that it's not as big as you think but there are some pretty good quality rides to go on and friendly staff. Food options are basic, and obviously bound to be overpriced, but hey, when you're hungry, you're gonna pay $20 for chicken tenders. Which is funny because I'm pretty sure the price of our tickets per person were like $40. So yeah it's a fun thing to do for a day with the kids! Get there when they open you'll be done with everything in the early afternoon, beat traffic home, win the game.

5 of us ordered chicken tenders and they were actually sooooo good!!

I rented a cabana for my daughter's birthday celebration and I wanted to bring food &cupcakes. I called and asked if I can bring food for my guest, a cake, and case of water and they told me yes. As long as I don't bring candles. But I read no food?

Hi did they allow you to bring food? I was told only cupcakes. Trying to find out if we can bring snacks we rented 2 cabanas side by side

    Are diaper bags allowed?

Yess, but the bag will get checked then u can just put it in the locker when ur there

If I don't rent a cabana....are still other spots for families like chairs, tables, shades? Or if I don't rent a cabana I will be floating around the park?

Yes, I used a beach towel to sit down and have lunch in open areas.

Can you wear water shoes on the rides?

    Most of them, yes.

I can't find anywhere the calendar dates Ranging Water in San Dimas open month and closed? The only info I have found open date May 2023. What are the open specific dates for…

I'm not sure, I'm not even able to view the dates to tell you. Maybe try calling

How deep are the water rides?

    Most are about 4feet

Can we bring a battery-operated portable fan to use in the Cabana?

Yes, you can bring a battery-operated portable fan to the Cabana.

    Puedo meter comida?

    No outside food allowed

What is the senior discount? Age of senior? Is it 55+ or 65+?

Can we bring in buggy (wagon) into raging water?

    Yes

I'm a platinum pass holder, does anyone know what the discounted price is per ticket to bring a buddy?

For 2022 the price of a Buddy Day discount ticket is $34.99. You can see which days are Buddy Days on our website here: https://www.ragingwaters.com/operating-hours---prices

Do the water park allow T-shirts , underwear and shorts?❓⁉️?

yes, just no denim in any pools!

    How deep are the pools?

They are all 3 feet or less except the wave pool which maxes at 9 feet at the end.

Are we allowed to take in ice chests?

Not into the park. You can eat outside and come back in after.

I see that cabanas come with a server. Trying to figure for what? Do they bring you food or beverages? Is that included with the cabana? the $149. price...

Servers are able to bring you food from the restaurants inside the park. The food is not included in the price.

Do all of the cabanas offer shade or is it only certain ones?

Yes. All cabanas offers shades. To rent a standard cabana is about $100.

What are their cabanas like? Run down? Good? Great?

It's ok. It's a guaranteed shaded spot for your family and you don't have to get there super early to fight for chaises.

Is there anywhere else to park around the park that's more cheap or even free? walking distances are fine!

Not that I’ve found! Some of the season passes include parking. Depending on how often you go, it may be worth the extra cost.

How much are the tickets offline?

    Are water shoes allowed?

    Are the rides scary?

Not anymore. They got rid of anything scary. Kind of sad.

She did not tell me to go online to book. She did say I had to have a $750 minimum since she'd be coming to San Diego, and I was ok paying the extra. Again, no mention to go online to do this while talking. I can't go back to Tuesday the 22nd on my phone to screenshot my log. But I've posted the 2 calls I made to her Wednesday and the call I made on Thursday. I left messages asking for a call back and that we'd spoken. Let's be clear, they were not booked. I've been looking for a Dino encounter type of company for my sons 4th birthday party. After speaking with several companies who were unavailable, this was the only one who was available. I believe her name is Carrie (maybe jeri?) who owns it. When I originally spoke with her before other companies, the first thing I thought was, she doesn't sound very charismatic nor entertaining. When I learned she was one of the "presenters" is when I searched for another company. Unfortunately no one else was available for my date so I called back. I spoke with her Monday about booking and she confirmed availability but said she was in the car and would call me back later to finish booking. Ok, great. She didn't call me back. I called her back Tuesday afternoon and left a message. Same thing Wednesday, I called a few times to follow up and pay. No response. Today, Thursday, I called and got a hold of her. She apparently has booked someone in my spot since we spoke. I am sooo angry. When we hung up Monday, I would have paid if she'd told me how instead said she was driving and we'd handle later. So I assumed we had our spot. When I reminded her of this, she told me I needed to understand she speaks to a lot of people every day and she had car troubles which she had to fix and handle. Quite frankly, I do understand things happen BUT how do you confirm someone else when you already told someone else they had that spot. Im furious but it may be for the best as I can not imagine her type of personality entertaining a bunch of 4 year olds. Terrible way to run your business. Look for a different company!!! I do NOT recommend. If you follow my reviews, I do NOT typically give out 1 star reviews and I'm very fair. But this review deserves it as they completely left me hanging for a party!
