    Great Breakfast!

The free breakfast at this Hyatt is absolutely the best ever. I am at a different Hyatt today in San Francisco and the breakfast is bad. I have made a reservation at the other Hyatt as it's a very nice hotel and that breakfast is Great!

The food is very basic. We tried their dinner to go items and breakfast buffet. Dinner was better than bfast, but nothing to write home about. This review is for the excellent employees and staff that run this place: from the Chefs that constantly refill the buffet items, to the host/hostess that are literally some of the kindest people I've ever met. The food- mediocre. Price- above average because it's inside a hotel/hyatt. Again, amazing staff that works the food, restaurants!

The food was amazing, service was wonderful and if you plan to stop by , I would recommend the buffet.

This is a restaurant at the Hyatt Regency in Santa Rosa, California. It's kind of hidden away inside the hotel but is a very nice location for dinner, cocktails and a great conversation. We only experienced drinks and a dessert. There's a fireplace in the bar area of the restaurant along with ambiance lighting. The restaurant manager Jeremy is straight out of GQ magazine and has great conversation if that's what you're looking for. The bartender on duty was Jonathan and the whiskey options were extensive. We had attentive service. We ordered an apple pie style dessert with ice cream. It was presented well and pretty tasty. Check them out for dinner and dessert if you're in the area!

Avoid this Hyatt Breakfast Buffet at all costs! Rip-Off Breakfast Buffet for $28.95.. Scrambled Eggs, Country Potatoes and Oatmeal were the only hot items Your $30 bucks are better spent elsewhere! For an upscale Hyatt Hotel in wine country I expect better than this !!!

Food 5/5 Atmosphere 5/5 Service 5/5 Great restaurant at the Hyatt Regency California. We ordered cocktails, the cheese platter and a margarita pizza. The portions were so large that it ended up being dinner! The drinks were strong and the food was delicious. It was so good that we decided to come back for happy hour the second night. Very good choice :)

As far as Happy Hours go, it was a good first impression. New chef/menu. They are working out the kinks. I liked the plentiful indoor/outdoor seating, appetizers were $3-5 for a fair portion, and the wine we chose was pleasant. We shared pulled pork slider, mango shrimp cocktail, black angus slider, and housemade chips with spinach-artichoke dip, red wine, white wine....$25. I'll take it. :) The shrimp dish was the least favorite - I'm guessing it had been sitting too long in the cocktail, making the texture all together much too mushy. The artichoke dip was a bit bland but some added salt and pepper were all it took. :) Chips were great, though I realize they're just fried potatoes. :) Both sliders were tasty and the wines were a sufficient pour. Good Happy Hour option!

I would give the 3 star for the food as the menu doesn't look too Brasserie, but I added one more star for the service. Although the bartender was kinda a 'dick', I had exceptionally excellent service from the restaurant. All that being said, I still gave a four star overall for the complicated experience for a simple meal. I walked in around 3pm on Aug.23, Sunday, looking for full menu as I just had a marathon race. The place was quite empty. The bartender gave me a bar menu when I asked for a full menu and was told no full menu till 5pm. Luckily a nice waitress came and saved my legs to switch restaurant. I am giving extra kudo to the waitress and the restaurant as I had a full menu at 3pm. She was kind enough to help with my special need. The customized order was done very well. The halibut tasted awesome. The passion fruit cake was a jem! Love it, tasted light and fresh!

Pros: 1. Outdoor seating with fireplace and two T.V's, perfect on a summer day, and if you have a well-behaved pet. 2. Great happy hour M-Sat 4-6 3.Option to dine in the restaurant or lounge area 4. Friendly service 5. New menu with good options including a "build-your-own" if you have special dietary needs 6. Good place to have a cocktail while watching the game with friends and family 7. Nice wine selection Cons: 1. No direct access from the hotel, you must go outdoors to enter 2. Decor is a bit dated and could use a spruce up Overall, a great hotel restaurant!

I sat at the bar and was served by the owner of the Pub, who is from the UK. I loved chatting with him about the pub and all the fun things that go on there. I happened to come in on Trivia Night, which gets a decent crowd! For dinner, I ordered the Braised Beef Guinness pie and a Guinness to go with it. The pie comes out steaming hot with a nice layer of browned mashed potatoes on top. There is real crust to this kind of pie. Underneath the mashed potatoes is more like beef stew. Large chunks of tender beef and vegetables are sitting in a delicious Guinness stew. On the side, a fresh salad to go with it. For $24 the portion you get is perfect and along with a good pint of beer this is the way to go. I will definitely be back to try some of their other food!

My wife and I had just visited Abbey Tavern this past weekend, a premier Scottish pub in the City, and we expected a similar atmosphere. However, the moment we showed up, we were met with great disappointment. The Goose & Fern is honestly a terrible place to watch a sports match: there was only a single TV mounted in the back corner of the restaurant, the TV wasn't particularly large, and the speakers had been turned completely off. What a bust. Although the food was decent, especially the Shepherd's pie -- which came piping hot in a small cast iron skillet, the service was downright dreadful and almost non-existent. We never received waters (or were even asked if we wanted beverages), our table wasn't given enough silverware, we were never checked on during the meal, and we were waiting around for 30 minutes twiddling our thumbs before somebody from our party finally went up to try to pay for the check. In hindsight, a tip was not warranted for the lack of service. Overall, Yelp grossly misled me on The Goose & Fern. This is not a spot I would stop by again to watch a sporting match. If you're in this part of Santa Rosa, do yourself a favor and head over to Dave and Busters down the street where they have a bunch of massive screens, tons of beer options, and service that will far surpass what you're getting here.

We started off with a traditional espresso martini and a pumpkin espresso martini. These were delish!! The pumpkin martini wasn't overly sweet, it had just the right amount of pumpkin flavor. For happy hour food, we ordered 8 oysters and buffalo chicken wings. The oysters tasted so fresh and crisp. The wings weren't battered and fried so they were relatively light with great flavor. Thomas then made us the best dirty martinis with bleu cheese hand stuffed olives. If you're a bleu cheese person, these will be right up your alley. We finished with calamari off the happy hour menu and a glass of Chianti. We had the best time enjoying fabulous drinks and food, we never wanted to leave. It was about 5 minutes before another waiter at another table came close enough for me to ask for utensils. The ambiance is always great here. It can be packed and you can still have a conversation with someone. The decor is cigar room classy. Still one of my favorite spots.

I just…read morerealized that they're part of the Stark Reality restaurant group, which has a big presence in Sonoma County. We had also tried Grossman's Noshery & Bar from the same restaurant group and were happy with the food there. I also heard good things about their other restaurants, so it should not have been a surprise that we were also impressed with the food here. Food is served tapas style and honestly, all the dishes sound appetizing. On this visit, we tried a few dishes. I wish I came with a more empty stomach to try more things. We ordered their crispy maitake mushrooms, steamed local black cod, and grilled house-made lamb sausage. Everything was delicious! The crispy maitake mushrooms came with a fish sauce which gave a nice brightening note to eat with fried food. Lemon was also fried with them to help cut any grease, so overall this dish did not feel oily or heavy. The steamed local black cod's ginger scallion oil surprisingly paired very well with the black truffle pesto. It had an earthy flavor profile that was brightened by the ginger. The cod was perfectly cooked and the mushrooms soaked up all of that saucy goodness. I loved this dish! The grilled house-made lamb sausage was Thai inspired and you could definitely taste the spices in the sausage. I actually would've liked more of the tamarind BBQ sauce and basil salad on this dish to help counter the lamb's spiciness a bit, but I enjoyed the dish. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was excellent and came out quickly. The restaurant is housed in what looks like a historic house, so it was a very cozy environment. They have a patio where you could eat while enjoying nice weather. I would definitely come again if I'm in the area!
