I came here last night. It's 24/7, which was why I chose this place. The lady was super rude. I decided to get a dozen instead of a half dozen and she couldn't stop telling me how that was apparently an issue to her... but I couldn't understand most of it with her mask on. I liked the fact that this place opens 24 hours when I was searching yelp, but it would NEVER be a 'must go' place for me. Donuts are too oily and dry. The glaze and the frostings are nasty. Some are too pricey -- the ones that are not a dozen box category. The attendants (both ladies) are terrible and this is not a matter of Native English speakers or not. First off, I'm sorry if I can't hear you, but the place was loud with their fan(?) to begin with. It's my first time there, so it is natural I don't know their system which I had already let them know, x3. They are very sneaky. They talk among themselves and try to adjust the prices of their choosing and as you order. I ask what the prices were and she simply couldn't give me a correct answer. Many times I repeated the prices and she's corrected herself multiple times. (I was keeping track of the prices with my calculator. The menu is very misleading. The receipt on the bottom (picture below) they try to justify their prices and add extra stuff so they can squeeze as much money out of the customer. They try to justify themselves why they charge extra and not explain why other stuff was added to the receipt. They use cheap sugars and cheap dough. I asked them " why are you charged me extra stuff when I didn't ask for?" The old ladies (w/glasses and another old lady) were speaking in a foreign language among themselves for a couple minutes and try to explain why they charge me extra. Clearly I did not order soda and they try to say it's a doughnut which is outrageous. You got drug addicts and Bum's hanging outside. It's clearly a filthy place. OSHA needs to examine this store before someone gets cheated out of their money and get sick. They have an attitude problem. They can be rude if you're asking for something that is not already made. There are times I've asked for a certain donut that is not on display and they easily make it. It's hard to figure out when it's ok to ask them and when not because you'll either get good customer service or they'll say they don't have something and ignore you instead of letting you order something else. They're good donuts but I won't be specifically making trips here for them anymore because of the rudeness. read more

I've been coming to this place for years but recently they have changed. They over charge and the last couple visits they charge me $1.00 just to use a debit card but they have signs everywhere that's a ¢.50 charge. This was my first time here and it is safe to say I'm never going back. I went with my grandmother because she picks up her lotto tickets here, The lady tossed the lottery tickets on the counter, she was very rude and was not vocal at all. It was horrible to see that type of customer service especially to my grandmother. My mother then bought a lotto ticket after and my mom gave her a $20 and she gave her $5 back When my mom said "excuse me I gave you a $20 the change in incorrect". Without any words she got a $10 bill out and threw it on the counter and walked away. Worst experience ever. read more

I use to be a fat kid if you could believe that. I ate and ate donuts and loved the powdered sugar ones, glazed was my favorite and I didn't mind eating this while my parents worked 24/7. My diet as a child was very unhealthy but it also made me learn that money was always tight and that sometimes eating cheap didn't taste so bad since it saved a lot of money! This store reminds me of how I use to live to go get a donuts with my dad. He always let me pick whichever one I wanted, no matter how big it was or how crazy sugary it got! This place has got me hooked on the croissants I would say they are one of the best I have ever eaten. So buttery and just great with what you can put in it. I get the bacon and egg with a croissant and that is my favorite. It actually does taste really good and I would say it is way better than going and eating Mc Donald's for breakfast! Came here on New Year's Day, since it's opened 24/7. Ordered several donuts such as the chocolate croissant and 2020 custard cream filled donut. Not a fan of the chocolate croissant; the chocolate used just tastes like the artificial and super sweet chocolate syrup you would use to top an ice cream sundae, and the pastry dough was too dry. I found out about this place right here on Yelp, and since then, my wife and take a 10 minute drive from Whittier to Norwalk so we can enjoy the kick ass warmed up blue berry donuts. As I was sitting there eating, a fresh pot of coffee was brewing (3:30 a.m.), so I had to get a cup...as well as a Chocolate Chip Tiger Tail (the Baker brought out a freshly-baked batch of Tiger Tails on a tray...you could see the chocolate dripping!). Went in today for a large milk tea. Asked for light ice since I noticed that the cup was full up to the same amount as a small. And I was told that for light ice it is a dollar more. So innovative with so much potential! This doughnut shop has some really creative doughnuts!! They have this glazed doughnut topped with cinnamon toast crunch! It looked sooooo good but it was just ok. To be fair, I don't think I've ever had a doughnut with cereal on top that was executed perfectly. The doughnut itself was moist and delectable unfortunately the topping was not crunchy anymore. It does have good potential to be something GREAT though. They also have this doughnut called a tiger tail topped with chocolate glaze and chocolate chip. Get this doughnut! So yummy! Their classics are also great. Especially their old fashion. This donut shop is a godsend for me. Whenever I get hungry when I'm up super late at night, this is the place to go. Not to mention, I can get almost-as-good-as Seaside Donut's ham/cheese/jalapeño croissant but instead of driving all the way down the 55, this place is right down the street from me. And for that I give this shop a 5 star review. Honestly, I haven't taste tested them side by side but from memory I would say they're neck and neck and definitely not different enough to make the Newport drive if you live in LA county. So...apparently this donut shop is an institution in Norwalk. I've driven by here numerous times and never stopped even though I've lived in Norwalk most of my life. It's in one of those unassuming plazas across the street from Norwalk City Hall. I have to say that this place should be more than a passing thing on your way to somewhere else. Make this your destination! I've only ordered the doughnuts here and I must say, that I was pleasantly surprised that they have those Instagram able doughnuts that kids nowadays would love to take pics of.
