This is a really great and unique Café in York. It's located in a convenient location. I would say as far as this little town goes, it's one of my favorite places. The Donuts are amazing here and they have plenty of choices. One tip is to go early in the day, that way you get the first picks. They can go quick! The original glazed donut's are always soft, almost fluffy and have a slight yeasty taste that I just love. They are also ample in size. My favorites include chocolate covered cream filled and the red velvet. It's also worth mentioning that they offer boba tea, egg rolls both of which are fantastic. As well as a small menu of the typical hot dog, hamburger etc. variety. This is definitely a must stop for folks visiting, or simply stopping through the York, SC area. read more

Ever time I visit this city I stop by for a few donuts! Offering a variety of flavors. It was one of my mother's favorite places to indulge a little sweet treat. The raspberry and lemon filled are heaven! A close second is the red velvet donut. Its small and quaint with that hometown feel. You can purchase singles, half dozen or a BAKERS dozen. Yup, a 5 star breakfast/donut place. I thought I would never find another donut place to give 5 stars (Munster Donut, Munster, IN), but Rainbow Donuts exceeded my expectation. Great, fluffy donuts, firm but soft (is that possible? yep) apple fritters and amazing donut holes. I love anything and everything orange flavored so you can imagine my shock when I tried my first orange donut. I may have blacked out from how good it was, but good gracious yes, it was amazing. Now, the best part. They also have breakfast burritos (with potatoes) and sandwiches. I will be honest, the sandwiches were good, but the fact that they had savory breakfast options to battle the sweet, it is truly amazing. This is a great small town place to grab a donut or a bite for lunch. I'm a big fan of their burgers and potato wedges and tends to be a regular place for us to hit up during lunch. Best doughnuts in York County. We live in Fort Mill and randomly found this place as few years ago when we were out for a Sunday drive. I've been hearing about Rainbow Donuts for awhile now but haven't had a chance to visit until a month or so ago. Since then, I've been here a few times, I'm ashamed and proud to say! Go in the morning when the cases are full of different varieties of doughnuts such as those sprinkled with cereal, red velvet, filled, etc. Oh and don't forget about trying the apple fritters! They come in small and large but the small is pretty big and less than $1! They also have other food but I've only tried the breakfast sandwich and coffee. The sandwich was cooked to order and the coffee was delicious and hot! Also the cost for 6, 12 or their version of a baker's dozen (14) doughnuts is phenomenal! Found this place because it's on the way from my parents house to the County Tax spot lol. It's on a random corner, with not much around, and it seems really unassuming but OMG the donuts are INCREDIBLE.
