Great food / sushi / hibachi and service for a very affordable price. What else can you ask for. Make sure to finish what you order as they have no waste policy.

Such a fun experience. We came during a week night and there was no wait. It's a small place and seemed very clean. The service was great. Our waiter was very friendly and our food was always quick and fresh. For the price, they have an amazing selection of sushi rolls and I will definitely be back.

So much good for a fantastic price!!

So good! We went for the lunch AYCE and are still stuffed 8 hours later! Our orders came out super fast and the food was fresh and delicious. The kitchen orders (steak hibachi, chicken noodles and ginger salad) were a nice surprise - I didn't realize anything other than sushi would be an option. Beware that the portions are LARGE and they have a good waste fee, so only order a few things at a time. Servers were very polite and quick to grab our order tickets. We will definitely be back!!

Honestly, I am surprised my husband hasn't asked for the owners of this place to just rent us out a spot in the back- because we practically live here. I am not even kidding when I say that we come here as often as we possibly can. The food is always a hit and consistently exquisite. The hibachi steak is always a favorite of ours and you really cannot beat the price. Surprisingly, the vibes are one of our favorite things about this spot because they always have such bangers playing on their playlist. Their playlist is practically our liked songs playlist on Spotify My son demolishes food here and we have built so many amazing family memories here. Please continue to support this establishment & help them become a lifetime staple here in Jax!

Delicious, good ambiance, and the servers are attentive. The price is great also. If you go on the weekend expect service to be a little slow due to the kitchen being slammed with orders and the restaurant being at 100% capacity.

came here for the $15.99 AYCE lunch special and was not disappointed! the AYCE menu wasn't that big compared to other sushi restaurants, but what they did have surpassed my expectations. highlights for me were the salmon nigiri and salmon avocado roll, which tasted fresh and very good. i am definitely coming back next time i'm in jacksonville!

They have a decent All You Can Eat lunch menu. It wasn't too busy but we went right when they opened at 11. When you are seated they tale your drink order and you have the menu on the table along with papers to write down your orders. The waiters walk around and collect the orders quickly. The food comes out quickly as well. Our son lpves their clear soup, noodles, and habachi steak. I really enjoyed all of the cooked rolls (being pregnant it gets my "sushi fix" out). My husband went hard on all the raw sushi and was impressed at the freshness and quality for an AYCE. Some of the other places we have been to that is AYCE seem to be rushed, and have small tables, but Rainbow was spacious with booth and table options. We have gone twice now and would for sure reccommend it if your in the area.

Calling my sushi connoisseurs! This restaurant is a great AYCE sushi option! During lunch hours, it's $15.99 which I felt was reasonable. All of the sushi we recieved was amazing and we also enjoyed a few of their appetizers: steak fried rice, vegetable tempura, fried krab cheese & spicy krab salad. I especially liked the fried krab cheese as it's something I haven't had before. Very clean and quiet atmosphere. A great date spot.

Not the "best" sushi we've ever had but definitely worth $20 per person for AYCE. This place can get pretty packed but again, totally worth it. Service was okay. Our waiter didn't check up on us very much other than to grab our order, didn't refill our waters either but it is what it is. Super chill place with anime playing on the tv. Can never go wrong with AYCE with good quality food. The fried sushi came out hot which is awesome. Definitely recommend this place!

My partner and I were running errands on a gloomy Sunday and decided to act on our growing hunger,…read moreso I began to peruse Yelp for some recommendations. I'll usually filter out restaurants by the average / amount of reviews and this was a top contender. Located inside an unassuming shopping plaza, we backed into a suitable parking spot and finally entered the legendary Sushi Bear. The first thing we instinctually noticed was an odd, chemical smell (hopefully cleaning product / hence the knocked off star) and some of the walls looked to be under renovation and partially covered with incoherent children's scribble, but no big deal. We were promptly sat and immediately served a complimentary holiday roll and clear soups which were both very tasty. Soon after, our order was taken and within minutes was brought to us which we quickly filled up on. The staff were VERY attentive and friendly. The food was excellent and I will 100% be returning here whenever I need another convenient sushi fix. Highly recommended for the area. - Lou Sassle

Loved the fresh crispy salad and the ginger dressing was so good, not the average type dressing. I look forward to going in to Sushi Bear and try the fresh Sushi.

We love dining from Sake House 2 because the staff is genuine and attentive to you. Excellent meals, superior quality and large portion sizes! We eat-in or go through Door Dash. If the door dash doesn't allow you to customize the order, you can call the restaurant and they will update and make it the way you want, such as without vegetables or without sesame seeds. We split the Braised Pork Belly Bao to start, which was great. After that, we worked from the lunch specials. She did the Hot Box with chicken and I did the Sushi Box. We liked both and the only afterthought was that she would've asked for shrimp instead of chicken next time. My only note was that the Spicy Tuna roll included with my box was VERY spicy. That may sound like an odd thing to say but many places don't mean "spicy" when they say it about their rolls. O-ku means spicy when they say it, so just know that. When I first came in after the remodel I was skeptical, but day after day (hit after hit) Wasabi delivers. The food is AYCE and is made fresh to order. I'm a huge fan of nigiri so this is such a dea. Normally two pieces could easily be 5+ at another location. Don't like sushi? No worries! They have hibachi, tempur, soups, salad, dumplings. This is a great place to take people new to sushi who are discovering their preferences ( please consider the sweet potato sushi, it will be better than you anticipate). Please be warned, there is a price per sushi piece left behind. While I never seen the staff bring down the hammer, it is a clearly written rule. Also, if one person at the table orders AYCE then shares their food you will be charged for two AYCE (which makes sense). The interior is simple but the vibes are immaculate, super laid back and they often give small gifts during certain holidays. The AYCE is approx 16 dollars until 3, their dinner prices increase. Make sure to check their schedules times before heading over. (Try the salmon skin salad)
