It has dining, a theater and just generally looks like a place to hangout for teens given the shops and seating on the bottom floor. Came here to catch a movie at the AMC and it was a trip going all the way up to the third floor up all the escalators. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from for dining, which is good if you don't want to get any concessions before or after a movie here. The mall is described as "a modern mall with the grandeur of a basilica." It looks well kept up and clean. The Escalators were all functional unlike one of the QFC's I frequent. Parking is available and will run you about $12 which will get you about 3 hours which should be enough for a movie or other patronage here.

One downside of this spot is how crowded it gets due to the number of stores in the area, along with limited parking that is also used by employees. While you're usually able to find a spot, be prepared for some walking, as the complex is fairly spread out. I really like The Landing. It's located in Renton right off the 405 freeway at Exit 5, which makes it very accessible. The area has a great mix of food options, including Red Robin, Korean barbecue, Thai food, and even a movie theater. The layout is well spread out and the area is especially known for its Asian cuisine. I definitely recommend taking your time to walk around, especially on the weekends when it's lively and busy. It's also conveniently located next to a park, which adds to the experience. The selection here is mostly food-focused, with limited shopping options such as Ulta Beauty and Target. Overall, the value of this place is decent, though it does lean more toward the expensive side due to its touristy feel. Despite that, I still recommend stopping by.

Cut to this weekend - I'm having a Georgetown morning and remembered that this place is probably open! It was actually nicer than I expected. A lot nicer. In my mind I was thinking of some sort of really weird flea market, but this place is so much more. It's basically an outdoor mall with a variety of legit, funky, local businesses...that all just happen to be in trailers...that are nicely maintained. It was a bit early when I went and the shops were just starting to open. Several stores that sell various vintage/trinket/home décor type items, a cookie store (which would have 100% gotten me had I not had baking project already on my list!) and perhaps the best part: the Shotgun Wedding Chapel. Damn, that's fitting! This place is pretty small, but it's still worth a gander! Come here, eat out at one of the many restaurants, and perhaps walk through the neighborhood - there's a lot of really cool stuff to find all over the place!

It really felt family friendly and the candy shop upstairs next to the monorail was packed. I remember wanting to hang out on all levels of this mall and there was Crabtree and Evelyn, B Dalton books, and so many options. I even got my ears pierced here 3 x at Claire's. The wing that connect to Subway and Taco Del Mar was also a hang out spot and it was fun to have a Seattle home base to chill. Westlake was next to Macy's, and Gap was cool back then. I didn't shop there but remember the scent of Heaven and the super perfumy scents of the 90's and Tommy Hillfiger and Nautica jackets that I wore. Jay Jacob's was the spot for Tolo and Winter formal wear and Frederick's and Nelson's felt so bougie but special. I could even get all of my specialty 90's Timberland boots. Over the decades, Westlake reminded me of a mall that was taken over by a post apocalyptic crisis. Shops were empty, the decent ones that made malls cool left such as Foot Locker, and random swap meet looking stores and other junky stores popped up. There isn't the same feel and it feels like a random hodgepodge of leftovers. I remember when Lush was in the mall and the whiff of the essential oils made things feel festive during the holidays. With so many stores and shops having to leave, Westlake is still a shell of its former felt. Who knows what it will look like in the next 10 years. If you're from out of town, I would suggest skipping Westlake. Go to Chop House Row, Melrose Market for indie and local and SouthCenter or Bellevue Square for the all American mall experience.

So it's an excellent place to connect, even during non-mall hours. Came here before mall opening at 10am, and was able to find a side entrance that takes you only to the 3rd floor where you can start your ride on the mono-rail.

It's a hip little indoor market at Capitol Hill with a few restaurants and a handful of retail shops. Although we mainly window shopped and just browsed around, I couldn't help but fall in love with all the lovely aesthetics. There were meats, cheeses, wine, cute little household goods, art pieces, oh my! I also noticed a few familiar names like Sitka and Spruce, a popular restaurant that I stumbled upon while researching 'must eat' spots in Seattle. I wish we had more time to look around. We didn't get to go upstairs, but I'll just have to plan for that on my next visit to Seattle. It's just down the street from the Starbucks Reserve and an easy add-on to any itinerary. Whether you're looking for snacks, coffee, or a complete dining experience -- you'll find something to enjoy here.

Service was fine at Woods Coffee and The Container Store; not great, not bad. I was happy that Woods Coffee had Kombuchas for sale, and my Kombucha that I bought there was pretty good. The price was decent for it too, Kombuchas are not super cheap even when buying them at the grocery store, so for a coffee shop in a mall-like area I was satisfied with the price for it. I drink Kombucha often. I love the Container Store, and I could spend hours in there. The selection was excellent. However, despite my enjoyable browsing, I just bought a load of white cardboard boxes that I had pre-ordered to make a maze/playhouse for my cat. I thought his maze/playhouse would look much nicer if I used white cardboard boxes that do not have labels all over them, rather than brown cardboard amazon boxes. Service and selection at the Paper Source were both outstanding. That was my favorite store that I visited here. I bought several items there, and felt super relaxed and welcome while in that store. Very nice area, I would return for sure.

The event organizers arranged for free coffee, treats and a wine bar by Princess and Bear. The lower level was mostly designer clothes, candles, crafts etc. The upper level was mostly home goods. If you are looking to decorate your place, the showrooms feature some amazing pieces. I would suggest talking to the designers and perhaps showing them your current setting for best results. Be prepared to shell out serious moolah as the quality is impeccable and perhaps one of a kind. Don't be afraid to negotiate a fair price. Nothing here is cheaply made. In fact, the showrooms are quite impressive. The sample sale though was less impressive and largely an inventory reduction sale. Prepare to spend an entire afternoon on everything furniture, lighting, rugs, home decor etc. You will certainly find mid-century modern mixed in with classic and contemporary pieces. Highly recommend!

Plenty of things are in the 'village' which is basically a squared strip mall. There are places to eat including two Pizza spots, Applebee's, Vietnamese food and more. For drinks there is sideline bar, groceries and convenience - QFC and Bartell. Coffee? Starbucks. So on and so forth. Across the way there is target, famous footwear and more which is relatively close, it could be walked which is what I did when since I never needed too much at a time. There are plenty of parking spaces and fairly easy to get in and out of. Given how filled up it gets I'd say it's a convenient place as it was for me as well as the folks who regularly come here.

I've seen it go through all the changes from old stores going out and new stores coming in to the Keg getting knocked down to make room for several extra commercial retail space to the parking lot getting renovated. This place thrives because of T-Mobile's headquarter right next door, during the day, it's an invasion from the employees everywhere. Avoid lunch rushes if you're in a rush. People complain about parking, but there's plenty of parking if you just circle around a bit, since it's a pretty in and out area, somebody will be out in a minute. It's convenient for me to walk here without having to go through any crosswalk. There's 3 Starbucks within this complex, one on each side and one inside QFC.
