First let me say I've never really been a fan of Raising Cane's. I first experienced them in Allen, Texas around 2012. We were eating at the newly opened In n' Out burger and decided to get a few chicken fingers since they were located right next door and our kids didn't want burgers. Coming from the land of Zaxby's Chicken (which I still love), I didn't really find Cane's to be as flavorful, nor their sauce as tasty. However, being the total optimist that I am, when they began expanding to Georgia in 2023, I willingly gave them another try at this location. Grand opening week was extremely crowded and even the drive-thru lines were bananas. So I waited a few weeks for the crowds to lessen and finally, more than a decade after my first time eating their chicken, I discovered I still was not a fan. Fast forward again to June of 2026. I'm totally loving all the TikTok and Facebook videos of foreign visitors during the World Cup trying American foods for the first time in different cities all across the country. The excitement in video after video for Cane's made me want to give them yet another try. So I did! I can't explain it. Maybe it was just a good day, but for whatever reason I really enjoyed my chicken fingers this time and to be honest, I'm still in shock! The tenders actually had flavor outside of being dipped in sauce and were perfectly tender and juicy! Previously I thought the chicken was bland. FINAL THOUGHTS Maybe I've been too critical in the past, maybe the hype of foreign visitors has softened me, or maybe I've been wrong all along... but for the first time ever I'm a fan of Cane's. I have never been here before and didn't really know what they focused on other than chicken so I looked them up on yelp and they had chicken fingers which is what I was craving so I stopped by. It was 830 on a Sunday night. , pretty good double line going, but it wasn't long. Ordered me the cane combo or two of them six piece, with a drink 15 bucks which is par and I was glad I came here!! First , the girls working here are fantastic! They are nice. They are friendly. They are amazing at their job so kudos to the staff.!! I got the food home as I live in Winder . Reheated it in the air fryer and a six piece combo is a boatload of food.!! I always air fry food if I pick it up on the way home cause I like my fries hot but the chicken tenders were, had a nice flavor., I'm not really getting the negative reviews because this place is exactly what I thought it was. We were traveling and my daughter wanted Canes. We don't have one near us but WOW we sure want one now !! We went through the drive thru and everyone was so nice and helpful!! I wanted to wait for the hype to die down a little bit before trying Raising Canes, but there was still quite a crowd in the drive-thru at lunchtime. Mildly annoyed that the online ordering won't allow for drive-thru pick-up or curbside pick-up. You have to still park and go in to retrieve your order. So I chose to just drive there and join the queue to order what was a seriously underwhelming meal. The gal at the window was very pleasant, and the prices were reasonable, but the quality of the chicken and fries was just so sub-par. If it wasn't for the Canes sauce, I would've wondered if the chicken, its breading and the fries were seasoned at all - it all tasted just very boring, so I guess it's like what people have been saying about all these chicken places - they're the same-ish chicken, but it's the sauces that set them apart from one another. read more

Drive thru: 3 long lines, confusing to find the entrance Parking: 4 lucky to find a spot When we arrived we were confused trying to find the entrance because one side was blocked. We drove around and got in line. When we got closer to the door we saw that inside didn't have a lot of people so we decided to park and go in. Luckily there was an easy parking spot. We ordered the CANIAC COMBO (6 chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, coleslaw, 2 cane's sauces, Texas toast, drink) + EXTRA FRIES and LEMONADE and it was about $20 (hubby and I shared). There wasn't a lot of people there so we were able to easily find a table (it was around 10pm btw). We got our food about 10 minutes after ordering it. Chicken: the first piece of chicken I ate was delicious. It was hot, crunchy, had flavor, and tasted fresh. The second piece I got was a disaster: colder, tasted like it had been seating there for the whole day, had a funny old taste, wasn't crunchy and not fresh (disappointed!). But then I tried another one and it was fine. Unfortunately I got a bad old one :/ Sauce: I love it! It reminds me of Zaxbys sauce. Fries: good as expected Toast: love it! Loved my First trip to Raising Canes in Dacula! The parking lot was set up well and in a way where it was very clear where you should go. The interior of the store was clean and had 3 disco balls spinning, adding to the flare of the store. I was greeted when I walked in and I proceeded to order the Caniac Combo (6 Tendies w/ fries, coleslaw, canes sauce, as well as a Large drink. The food was exceptional, and couldn't have been better. Excited that this location is closer to my home than Athens, but I can't wait for expansion into the North Georgia Area. With that said, I can see myself making many More trips to this location. Really disappointed in the service and this isn't the first time. Got my food at the drive through and it's about a 10-15 min drive, realized the girl didn't give me my card back. I called and they had it. Drove all the way back to get it, had to go in with my pajamas as it was already after 10pm. Raising Cane's is starting to open stores all over the ATL. We stopped into this one that has only been open a week over at Hamilton Mill. Since they have only been opened a week, the lines were long, seating was limited, and the parking lot was crazy. To their credit, they had police directing traffic, the store was still very clean, and the staff was cranking out orders like a well oiled machine. Not quite Chick-Fil-A level, but it was close. If you've never been, there are several options for eating. You can get chicken tenders, chicken tenders in a salad, or chicken tenders on a bun. But you're getting chicken tenders . We got a few tender combos. The Caniac, which is 6 tenders with fries, coleslaw, and Texas toast. The Box which is a 4 piece with the same, but the kiddos subbed the coleslaw for extra fries, and a three piece which has the same, but without the coleslaw. As for the food, the slaw was good. Not overly sweet and still crunchy. The fries were ok. We added salt to ours as it was lacking, but decent crunch. The Texas toast was also good. The chicken itself is where the issue comes in. The pieces were large, they were very juicy, but they lacked flavor. If you dunk the chicken in the Cane sauce, it was great, but on its own it just didn't taste like much. The breading stayed well and all that, they just need some kind of seasoning that isn't sauce. Essentially, they were "mid" as the kids say. Overall it was a good experience. They are opening one closer to us, so we will likely eat there again, but we won't be rushing back. If you have a choice between this or Huey Magoo's, Magoo's is gonna win every time. read more

It is a fast food restaurant. The drive thru is out of the parking lot at times. The wait time for drive thru has improved drastically and there are lull periods where there is no line. The staff are friendly. The chicken tender are juicy and large in size; however the price point is pretty expensive for a fast food joint. The cane sauce is seasoned well and creamy. Definitely without it the chicken tender would not be as tasty. The Texas toast was not toasty at all and lacked garlic and butter. It was bland and too moist to be called a toast. I've never seen a restaurant that essentially forces you to buy a combo to get any value for your meal. Yes, you can technically order individual items like tenders and fries, but the pricing makes it cost-prohibitive and almost impractical. It feels like a tactic to upsell customers rather than providing flexible options. Lesson learned--my family and I will be choosing Huey Magoo's moving forward. Located in Dacula this newest location has officially worked out their kinks. It is a popular restaurant and was only allotted standard fast food parking which means the parking lot is always pretty full. The inside is pretty midsized and had fun memorabilia on the walls. The menu is small and concise and I will say the restaurant knows what they do well and sticks to that. I got the 4 piece tenders meal with canes sauce and honey mustard. Everything was cooked well and was delicious. NO SOGGY TENDERS HERE! The main issue I have which has more to do with the company than the franchise is there are only the two sauces to choose from for dipping. I don't understand the low ratings. Canes does two things: chicken tenders and fries. I made my way to this Canes a second time. I had the Cane's Box with four tenders, fries, toast and slaw. The star of this show is the chicken which actually came out moist and juicy both trips. That is not easy to do with chicken tenders. They often come out dry at other restaurants. The fries were good, although I prefer larger sized fries. These are like a crinkle cut shoestring fry. The sauce for the tenders is excellent. It does not overwhelm the chicken, as some sauces can do. Service was fast and friendly both times. These folks can crank out the grub. So relax, folks. This is fast food, not Bones. And Cane's is one of the better fast food restaurants in Atlanta (ok, way outside Atlanta). read more

This is a subpar Cane's location. Cane's is a restaurant that my family really enjoys and we grew up eating it because there used to be one in our town. Whenever we travel to a city that has Cane's we always go and the quality is usually consistent across the country, until we went to this one. In the last few years we have not lived in places with a Cane's so when one opened up nearby we had to try it. This Cane's did not live up to the quality we are used to. The drive thru was horrible. They gave people their food out of order which caused huge delays. We were first in line to receive our food and 6 cars behind us received their food first and were trapped in the line and couldn't leave because we hadn't gotten our food yet. It made no sense especially considering the menu is very limited and we are all getting essentially the same thing. While we were waiting in the drive thru line I ran inside to use the restroom. It was dirty and there was no toilet paper. Then when we finally got our food after waiting for ~35min, everything was undercooked. The chicken breading was soft and falling off, the fries were barely golden and also soft, and the toast was not very toasted. They obviously rushed the food so they are either understaffed or under trained. The experience was extremely disappointing since Cane's is one of our favorites. We will stick to getting it when we travel to other cities rather than coming back here. read more

Quality has always been an issue for us at this location. Stopped going for a few months. Decided to give it another try tonight. We watched them drop a container of our food at the drive through window. The manager picked it up and told us he was replacing it. We watched him, in full view of the drive through window, hand the dirty food to the prep station and then they handed it right back, he re-boxed it, and tried to hand it to us. When my wife confronted him, he panicked and offered to make us new food. If he was willing to do this in front of customers I can only imagine the sanitation issues that occur behind the prep line.
