It's not Generation 3 and those became the norm for QT beginning in 2012. This is QT store #766. It's popular and busy because of its location. It's situated roughly halfway between Atlanta and Athens. I visited this location to fill up on my way from Atlanta to nearby Winder to play golf at The Chimneys Golf Course. I was a little surprised at how busy this place was on a Saturday morning before 8am. It was really busy, inside and out. While here, I saw two different meetups, one of which looked like an import scene meetup. An import scene meetup before 8am on a Saturday? Maybe they were headed somewhere. The gas station has 20 pumps. This one even has a separate filling area for semis (truck diesel). I usually only see those at QTs off an interstate. Like other QTs in metro Atlanta, maybe they should build a new, bigger one nearby and close this one down. This one might be too small for the area now. It looks like there's enough land for them to expand on the current lot or build across the highway(s). It'd be nice if they created access to this QT from 316. As of right now, if you're on 316, you have to turn at the light and enter from Winder Hwy. All in all though, an OK QT. And I'm a fan of QT.

I was beginning to feel pain again as I submitted my prescription to the pharmacy worker. I very obviously had a large incision on my neck from just having surgery. The pharmacist working (a female) said it would be 1 1/2 hours to fill the prescription, even though I had told them I was feeling more and more pain. I asked if the prescription could be put in their system, but we pick it up from our local pharmacy in Dacula, GA since we still had to drive home, and that would be at least an hour. She said no, because it was a controlled substance. She was very quick and not friendly. I took my prescriptions and told them to forget it and I'd go home and take my chances with my local pharmacy. I have been using the Walgreens on Dacula Rd. for a few years and had my husband call on our way up there. He explained to the pharmacist that I had just had surgery, was feeling pain again, and we also had our 9 month old with us, so we didn't have a ton of time to wait around. The pharmacist told us no problem and to bring it in right away. My husband brought the prescriptions inside and they were filled immediately. We thanked the pharmacist so much. Great customer service and care for the individual!

I have now visited this Dacula store three times and have yet to see anyone working the floor. I just needed to know where a few things were located, but could not find anyone to ask. I waited in line to ask the teenager working the front register where I might find an ear bulb, the gizmo that is used to flush out your ears. Not a common product, but one working at a drugstore should know it. She had no idea what I was talking about. Said they had no one on the floor, and left the counter to walk to the photo area to ask another teen. Meanwhile the counter was six deep. The three times a hve been in there, this has always been the case. Come on Walgreens. Add some staff, and train them just a little.

I don't have…read moreanything against any gas station, but I've come to realize that some are higher than others and Chevron is one of them. If I'm not mistaken (don't quote me) I think Chevron is generally 10 cents more than any regular station. Yet after doing a little research, they seem to have more of premium gas that tops a lot of other providers that justifies their prices. So they say. With the war with Russia and Ukraine, these prices are high!! I barely filled my truck up with $75. It went to the full line but was barely touching it. Service: Sometimes the service is really slow inside of the store, especially if one person is operating. You won't stay in the store too long though. If you go there often, you get to know their names, the ones who are serving you that is. They will also know yours if you go in quite often. Hindsight: In hindsight, they have quality gas, a little more expensive than other gas stations. You can look it up or research if you like. If you have a card membership with them, you'll save a little money but not much. If you like boiled peanuts, they have those also.

A staff member, Brandon, answered the phone & relatively quickly was able to confirm that they had a few empty boxes on hand that I could pick up. Brandon was friendly and helpful. Upon my arrival, I was greeted and after telling him why I was in store he hustled to the back of the store to get the boxes and carried them to my car for me. While waiting in store, I noticed it was well stocked and maintained. Prices are clearly labeled and there is a large variety of items in inventory. The overall feel of the store is like a warehouse -- like the Costco or Sam's Club of liquor stores.
