I ordered the patty melt and a large onion rings for curbside pickup at the Whataburger over by Sardis Church Road in Buford. Let me start with the positives because there are definitely some. The patty melt was excellent. Perfectly toasted bread, good flavor, and exactly what you hope for when you're craving one. The onion rings were also fantastic. Crispy, well seasoned, and honestly some of the better fast-food onion rings I've had in a while. The staff member who brought the order out curbside was also very friendly and polite. No complaints there at all. Service was quick and the interaction was pleasant. Now for the reason this lands at three stars instead of five. I ordered a large onion rings and was given a medium. Normally that might seem like a small mistake, but in an era where fast food prices keep climbing, getting shorted on the size you paid for feels a little unforgivable. When you order a large, you expect a large, not a "close enough." So overall: great patty melt, amazing onion rings, friendly staff... but the order accuracy needs to match the price we're paying. IYKYK Glad to have this one closer to home. The food taste is close to back in Texas, but is not exactly the same. Service here is wicked slow. Seems to take forever to get food. A 10 minute wait or more is not abnormal for here. The kitchen must be on their phones or something in between orders. Some kind of distractions are occurring all over the restaurant because no one seems to have any speed to service. Won't deter me from going still, but just tempers my expectations read more

We love Whataburger and so happy to have one close to home now. We are here and today was their first day open. Will come back and add the other details I may miss but it's super clean, friendly staff, we ordered and we're eating hot made to order food within minutes. This place is very clean in comparison to other fast food places. My daughter and I had the bacon burger and she had a vanilla shake. It was delicious. Both burgers were pretty good but nothing super special. I decided to order some wings at the end, because I like to try new wings from different restaurants. They were pretty good. Soooo I tried to give this location grace because they are new and maybe still needed a bit of training but honestly this is just sad. They hired a bunch of kids who act like kids. This is now my second bad review (first on google). My husband went to get us food tonight and asked them to just make sure there was ketchup in the bag. The guy giving him the bag said " It's already in there", looked back and asked the person who packed it to which they confirmed and he looked back and said "yeaa it's in the bag". My husband pulled up because he felt they were catching an attitude about ketchup. He checked the bag to which there was no ketchup. So he pulled back around the building and passed the ordering board and went straight to the window where a young girl caught an attitude with him and asked " why you pull around like that" he replied "I asked for ketchup, yall said there was ketchup and there's none. I'm not sitting at the ordering board to ask yall for what I already asked for". The guy who previously gave him the order felt bad and went and grabbed him BBQ while the young girl stared at him like he was crazy. .....please hire adults. If you have ever wondered what is like to eat a meal in the cafeteria of a county jail with the prison population, look no further. This Whataburger was straight up ghetto. I will say that it was convenient that the inmates...I mean employees.. we're all wearing orange, so you at least knew where they were at all times. read more

Stopped by Whataburger and had one of the best fast food experiences I've ever had. Chris and Clinton were absolutely phenomenal--super friendly, full of energy, and treated every customer like family. You can tell they genuinely care about their work and the people they serve, which is rare these days. Their vibe was contagious and completely turned my day around. If their manager is reading this, these two are shining examples of what great customer service looks like--they seriously deserve a raise or some kind of recognition. read more
