Opted to go for a chicken plate which came with half a chicken, 2 scoops rice, corn and a side of their sauce. It was $18 which I gladly paid for because of how delicious it was and how big the portion was. It was good enough for 2-3 people. The staff was really nice. After seeing an Instagram reel, this place was certified smash by one of the content creator I follow. I bookmarked Diamond's Kitchen. We happen to stop at Elena's to grab take out and I remember Diamond's Kitchen food truck is right in the same area out in the parking lot. Food truck is located in a no frills strip mall in Waipahu. The garlic shrimp and chicken combo and chicken plate lunch was packed with plenty of protein and a generous serving of rice, along with sides of potato salad and corn. I bought a few whole chickens and a few sauces brought it home and ate it with my rice there. The chicken isn't dry, it's nice and juicy. So much flavor the sauce helps also. I did order the crab potato salad, I didn't taste the crab in it. I didn't really like it. My boyfriend did though, he enjoyed it with the chicken. The customer service is great!
