This was my 16-year-old son's first job, and unfortunately, it turned into a very disappointing experience. It started out well, but once Dajon began working at this location, things quickly went downhill. I tried to stay out of many of the issues he described and simply listen, but I can honestly say this is some of the worst management I have witnessed. I truly do not understand how this individual is still in a management position. There was constant disrespect toward employees, and the environment became extremely unprofessional. My final straw came when my son was called into the office and fired over the phone by a manager. He was told to clock out and leave the premises immediately. When I arrived, another manager was yelling at him in front of customers and employees, demanding he leave the property, even though he was simply waiting outside for us to pick him up. My husband calmly asked the manager, Jamison, why our son was being treated this way, especially since employees are not typically screamed at or forced to leave immediately unless there is a serious issue such as theft. Instead, the manager became defensive and continued acting unprofessionally in front of customers and staff. When I asked for the general manager's contact information, I was only given the store number and told the GM was unavailable. I simply wanted to know whether my son was banned from the restaurant so we would know if he could return there with his friends, as this is a common local hangout for high school students. The manager claimed he "didn't know" and attempted to involve other employees in the situation. This entire experience was handled poorly and lacked professionalism from start to finish. If you have teenagers or young adults seeking their first job, please be aware of how employees are treated at this location. No young person deserves to be screamed at, humiliated, or treated like a criminal because of poor management. read more

I've only recently tried Raising Cane's but must say they're pretty good. The chicken strips are juicy and tender and perfectly lightly breaded. The fries are surprisingly good for some reason I cant even explain. Stop by sometime and give it a try. I doubt you'll be disappointed. read more

The service was excellent. Nice people are so very much appreciated. But as far as the actual chicken goes, what am I missing? You get tiny breaded chicken pieces. Chicken tenders make me think enough meat to warrant 3 bites. These are 1-2 bite chicken bits. Kinda greasy. Not crispy. There were fries and they were unremarkable. Not a lot of sauce. A piece of Texas toast. Runny, bland coleslaw. I got the mega order for my mega husband and it was snack sized. We knew we should have left the minute they said they only had one size of fries. First time being there and it will be the last. We just wanted a fry and drink each. The drink came with so much ice that I refer it to as "The Sonic Method" which means that your cup is filled to the brim with ice and the drink is finished after about 6 sips. Had I known this, I would have ordered no ice. The fries come in a small container that is not even full. It would be the equivalent of eating a smaller version of the medium at McDonalds but not as small as the McD's small so about halfway in between. The fries are basically crinkle cut bargain brand frozen french fry that you can just make at home. The cost for these bland fries is the same as what you would pay for a 2.5 pound bag at the grocery store instead of the handful you get at this place. Save your money and eat fries at home as its literally the same fry and taste as they weren't even salted. We asked for sauce - each sauce is upcharged 41 cents so thats almost 1 buck for 1 sauce each - do they charge that for ketchup as well? We will never know as we will never go back. read more

Atmosphere and customer service were very welcoming. They had light music playing. The weather was about 68 outside, and it was a very cold in there, and the fans were on in the sitting area. The food was hot & delicious. My thumbs down were the sauces and bathrooms. The only sauce that comes with the chicken is canes sauce. If you want honey mustard or any other sauce, it costs. Greetings Yelp Nation, Raising Cane's has great food for a fast food chain. The thing I loved the most about the dining experience was that I did not feel sluggish or weighted down after I ate. Oftentimes, after you eat fast food, you feel worse. I think it is a testament to the quality of the ingredients they use. The ingredients seem to be simple, high-quality ingredients, which I love. I loved the lemonade. I love a good handmade lemonade that's not overly sweet. Overly sweet lemonade is not that refreshing to me. The bread tasted great but needed to be toasted more. The fries could have been more crispy and the need seasoning. The tenders were fantastic and very juicy. The service was excellent, and the food was fresh. The restaurant was very clean and bright. It was pretty relaxing for a fast food place. There are a couple of areas of improvement for Raising Cane's. First is the price point. While I left the restaurant feeling full, my pockets also felt empty. The price point for Raising Cane's is slightly on the higher side. This has been the case for most fast food restaurants over the past 15 years. I have a family of 6. In yesteryear, most restaurant price points catered to repeat family customers (how often can we get families to eat at our restaurants), now fast food restaurants caters to foodies and more individual consumers. I honestly couldn't afford to take my family to Raising Cane's once a week. It probably would be once a month or every other month type of thing. But if you are a single person or just going out for lunch with a coworker, good place to go. Secondly, there were no desserts on the menu, you had to pay for sauces (the honeymustard needs black pepper), and you had to pay for lemonade refills. Come on, Raising Cane's! You have to have something sweet on the menu. I would add a handmade strawberry lemonade, pineapple lemonade, or blueberry lemonade. Apple Cobbler would be great here. Thirdly, there were only two single bathrooms for the whole restaurant. Just two toilets for all employees and customers. From time to time, there was a traffic jam at the bathrooms. With all that said, I would definitely recommend this restaurant. I will return the next pay period...lol They would get 4 stars if they had free refills and desserts. read more

We thought it might be better than its sister store near the mall and Torchys near Midlothian Tnpk- but unfortunately not. During our visit, we had the kids that work there on their phones while waiting for customers - if you have time to lean, you have time to clean - or do something! When your food is ready they bellow it out like I was back in boot camp again. The prices? The food is ok I guess, but the food price doesn't equal food quality. The bread came out soggy; the fries were a bit under done- I do wish they'd have something like steak fries! Or, even better - onion rings. Tried the new Raising Cane's close to Woodlake, today. First, the app is very functional and easy to use. Ordered a 25 piece tailgate. Went to the restaurant and, much to my surprise my order was waiting for me. This place is pretty organized for the amount of people waiting in line. Second, the chicken is lightly battered, resulting in a great example of fried goodness, complementing the tender, perfectly cooked and juicy. Lastly, the chicken tenders slightly edge the competitors in the surrounding area. Great asset to Midlo and Virginia. Good job, Raising Cane's. read more

Service was good. However the food was overpriced less than mediocre chicken and fries. The only good thing was the coleslaw.

Went raising Cane for the first time for lunch today! Have to say it was very disappointed and probably will not ever go back. The fries were definitely undercooked. The chicken strips two of them are very small and two were medium size and they had no flavor just lots of breading. The coleslaw was bitter, and it took a long time to get my order considering that it was the beginning of the lunch, rush. read more

The food isn't that great at all. The chicken which is there main appeal is completely flavorless unless paired with the sauce. They also purposefully dont give enough sauce so you pay for more. The food is expensive and the menu is extremley limited. However, the one reason I would visit this location is because the service is always amazing and the atmosphere in the establishment is incredible. No not like Chick Fil A sauce. Just less tangy than say Zaxbys. If you like skinnier fries, and crinkle - you will enjoy these. They are not seasoned like Zaxbys so if you prefer a seasoned and thicker crinkle fry you may prefer Zaxbys. Cole slaw was cold and crunchy as it should be. The food was very good and service was amazing and is decently fast just an all around great to get chicken it is so much better than KFC.

Decided to go to an early lunch today. The food was hot and tasty. Service was quick and friendly. Cleanliness is another issue. We were there early, 11:15 am. The tables outside were all dirty and appeared not to have been wiped down at all from the day before. The napkin holders were filled with drip marks. It was obvious they hadn't been wiped down in awhile. When the areas visible to the public are this dirty I can't help but wonder what the areas we don't see look like. read more
