The phone calls I tried making

June 18 I had an issue with an employee, all because I wanted to buy food for a homeless guy. What makes it worse as I'm trying to buy him food the employee says "he already ate and if he's going to eat it needs to be Togo" rudely she puts down the cup and gives him attitude. And slides his food to him. I don't care if a person is homeless or all the way to rich. A person is a person and the fact she was so damn rude and disrespectful to him says everything that she shouldn't be working in customer service. The employee was an elderly woman, wears glasses, and short. I wrote a complaint on the canes website and got a call from the customer service line but I missed it. So I called back 4 times and never picked up the phone. So to Katie who gave me the call you suck at your job because you called me at 3:35 and I immediately called you back 4 times and you never picked up.

    Homeless encampment

This place opened with a bang, but has gone downhill ever since. Nothing but homeless people sitting inside and putting up camps out front. The owner doesn't seem to mind and never calls the police to have them trespassed. Everything that has tried to run a business on this corner has failed because of the homeless encampments. The landscape is thoroughly trashed. Worth driving a few extra miles to go to a different Raising Cane's.

It's hard to go wrong with Raising Cane's when looking for a fast food spot. I feel like the food here is fresher than average and I don't feel I've wasted money when I spend $12 or $13 bucks. The service staff here was really nice and gave us water cups and they were nice when we were ordering. The restaurant wasn't very clean though and almost all the tables were pretty messy. This is my first time eating in at this location and in the future I think I'll stick to the drive through. The road is pretty hectic getting in and out of here but I've always found it is easier to get out on the 7th side.

This location had 2 lanes for the drive thru and usually they are pretty quick though sometimes they only have one lane open which can slow down service. It's a new location so everything is pretty new inside as well. The staff is quick and professional, I don't think I've ever received an incorrect order. The food is usually good though at times the fries have felt a bit soggy or colder than usual. Convenient location for a quick stop.

First time trying this place. - Four Piece Chicken Tenders- Juicy!!! If you ever had Korean Fried Chicken tenders, this place is up to par! Cole Slaw- Small portion like a small side. Texas Toast- Half a normal Texas toast. Crinkle Fries- Skinny. Asked for no salt. Place looks good inside. Drive-thru with two employees helping outside like Dutch Bros. Staff very friendly. My recommendation to take family with kids on a budget. The star of this show is the chicken tenders(four fingers). Don't even buy 3 tenders. Go with as many chicken tenders as possible. Signature sauce is good.

We stopped by the Indians Indian school and 7th Street location this Sunday. We are Canes local experts and biggest fans"as this is my son's favorite place, and this is by far the absolutel cleanest and friendliest iCane's location in the valley! We got to meet the manager Oz and he's absolutely a great leader and great customer service and Crystal at check out was so friendly helpful and got my son's complicated order correct.

I usually love Canes but this last time was frustrating. They gave me the tiniest chicken fingers, feeling disappointed

I forgot to take the picture before I ate. Upssss!

The chunks of meat are generous and I've never bit into anything wierd (that's a deal breaker for me) and the broth is nice and thick. The red chile beef reminded me a lot of the traditional New Mexican red chile my family makes. Service was excellent. I went during the lunch rush and it took no more than 10 minutes to wait in line, order, and receive my food. The restaurant was nice and clean too. Definitely recommend visiting. We went the same day, arrived to discover there was an accident that took out the stoplight and hit the owners car. Even with that going on, she welcomed us and we ordered a couple of burritos while taking not of all of the fresh pastries and other goodness. We ordered one beef and green chile and a Sausage breakfast burrito. They make their own sausage for these from a recipe that has been in the family for over 100 years, and I highly recommend it. Both were exceptional and they are huge and do not skimp on the meat. After those we could not pass up grabbing some of the Maple Peach bread pudding and an Apple Danish. The Apple Danish was outstanding, cannot speak to the bread pudding as that disappeared before I was able to try it. This place is awesome, great food, great staff, great atmosphere, and we will be adding this to our breakfast rotation for sure. I need to return to try the burgers, and I'm certain they will not disappoint. If you are in the area, this is the place you need to try for sure.

Saw a frie an assumed there was another in there, but there was not. It wasn't until I brought the food back when I saw the recipient splitting fries and I asked "there's another fry, wait, they didn't forget a fry did they?"... It may seem like no big deal, it's just a small order of french fries but not to the folks who were waiting on the food and not to the one who split theirs... lame. I attempted to call, twice. No one will likely answer and I am bummed to have not resolved it. See, the updale on a combo to me, makes it matter as well as the customers who were dissatisfied. The chick was kind enough, I waited a really long time to not even get my full order and well, just gonna have to be "that person" every single time I hit a Carl's Jr from here forth. This drive-thru-only location is basically the Formula 1 pit crew of chicken sandwiches. The line can look terrifying, but somehow you still get your food faster than most places take to say "welcome in." The staff is consistently friendly, the food actually looks like the menu pictures (a miracle in fast food), and the whole operation runs with suspicious levels of efficiency. There is a patio if you're feeling adventurous, but this is Phoenix, where sitting outside half the year feels like volunteering to be slow-roasted. Thankfully, this spot is perfect for grabbing lunch on the go or picking up dinner on the way home. Fast, efficient, food hits, no major complaints. But after my most recent experience, I'm dropping it to 3. I ordered online, paid ahead, did the whole "I'm a responsible adult" thing. I get there, give my name, pull up, and suddenly I'm told my total like I never paid. Then someone loudly calls out from the back, "OH! it declined." First of all... what? Second of all... inside voices?? Here's the kicker: it did NOT decline. I had the confirmation email, and my bank showed the charge (I didn't know this yet). Instead of verifying, she told me matter-of-factly that it declined, so I handed her the exact same card I used online, and she ran it again. Boom, double charged. And at that point, I'm starving and not about to fight over a fast food order, trusting that staff are doing their due diligence, not just assuming and casually charging a second $30 like it's no big deal in this economy. I had to go back through the drive-thru line (again), wait (again), and deal with it while my food sat getting soggy (not again, unfortunately, just once was enough). To their credit, the refund was issued and it did hit my account. So yes, they fixed it. That matters. But... this shouldn't have happened in the first place. It's a training issue. If an order is confirmed, don't assume it declined. And maybe don't announce someone's "declined card" across the building like it's a group discussion topic. Still a decent location... would be smart to verify before you charge people twice (maybe my expectations are too high?) and I will never order online again because of this, lesson learned first time around on that.
