Instead of verifying, she told me matter-of-factly that it declined, so I handed her the exact same card I used online, and she ran it again. Boom, double charged. And at that point, I'm starving and not about to fight over a fast food order, trusting that staff are doing their due diligence, not just assuming and casually charging a second $30 like it's no big deal in this economy.
