I finally decided to try Chick-fil-A after they sent me a coupon for a free sandwich or chicken nuggets. I decided to go inside because the drive-thru looked too busy. I chose the chicken sandwich, got it to go, but decided to eat it there. The first official Chick-fil-A location opened in 1967 in an Atlanta shopping mall, leading to the chain's expansion and reputation for quality service and its signature Sunday closure. And I have to admit, everyone I encountered was so friendly. The chicken sandwich was simple, topped with mayo and pickles, but the chicken filet was so tender and juicy, much better than I expected. Ok sooo... I don't do reviews hardly ever... and I can legit say I wouldn't have EVER imagined myself doing a fast food review, even after the day I die... Welllllll... I absolutely couldn't go on without acknowledging the fantastic service that I received at this location. I am a very clean eater... But not in that super angry, judgey way most of my kind of people are... Anyhow, I lived really close to this one and received a free meal card in the mail the other day... At that moment, I even thought "damn it's been 25 years! " ... but I truly had zero desire, andI gave the card away. Well, those marketing geniuses decided to send out another round of free nuggets... this time though... that card was kinda glowing when I opened my mailbox... totally shocked to adapt to a double dose of high school nostalgia. Anyhow, fast forward to last night it is 10:40 PM... I am starving... I'm in the industry so I would never order much less go into a restaurant even 30 minutes before they close- but I totally called the taco place on seventh Street in Camelback and nobody answered. I straight up was just gonna ask them for whatever leftover chips and salsa they had and I would give them whatever they wanted it to charge me-I mean my grocery store is definitely not open... I'd be willing to go to Fry's but definitely won't make it there in time... I asked my phone what restaurants are open right now, and then .... There she was again... Chick-fil-a, open til midnight. I definitely lived my life by noticing synchronicity. I chose to take this as exactly one of those moments.. I'll save you the details of my personal process... Because Moore not worthy and a much cooler story, was the guest service that I received. I ended up getting there probably at 11:30 PM... Was met by two ladies in the drive-through. I think one appeared to be a manager.. I did not get their names and I totally know better than to not do that but ladies, you guys rocked it out and made me feel like I was the only one in in that drive-through... which I was but, you get my point. Not only did they treat me with kindness, they listen to my "I'm a healthy person. "speech as if they were just waiting all day to hear that story from me... Even though I'm not a jerk about it sometimes it just pops out when I'm feeling like I'm out of my defined life choice environments... I got a chicken nugget, a waffle fries, and a full sugar lemonade my friends... Talk about a throwback! I had most of that stuff gone by the time I got to my house a mile and a half away no doubt! The other really rad part about my experience... Is that I got educated while I was chatting with these gals. Did y'all know they bred their chicken nuggets like legit they aren't frozen!! Now I love that, and I don't like it because that opened some sort of permissive portal in my one track mind ( so yeah I'll probably definitely be back at some point), but more importantly, as an industry person myself, I am a geek about educating my guest when they come into my space... People don't always realize that that golden nugget is a part of a guest experience that they're gonna remember even beyond enjoying the meal itself. Also, it was very, very apparent that they both enjoyed their jobs as well as the folks that helped me at the pick up window... It was a parent, and they also said how much they enjoyed their positions and the owner.... That is such a rarity these days, especially in the restaurant vortex we love & dislike sometimes.... I'm telling you, I can absolutely say with certainty,, I would not be mentioning anything about my trip to Chick-fil-A unsolicited... But now that I know that they bread their chicken nuggets that are NOT Frozen, you better believe that I will loudly proudly )but not forcefully) advocate for this chicken, nugget empire that doesn't need my help getting a line out the door... but that's more work than most full service. Restaurants can say about their chicken nugget situation. *Just realized that pun... Sometimes after the gym, chic fil a can be my go to spot for a quick meal. My experience increasing from a regular fast-food experience to something more personalized when I downloaded the app. I do my best to order before I arrive so I can just scan a QR code and fall in line. I typically get the kale salad with 8 piece nuggets breaded or grilled. It's the little things for me... they address me as A.B. I placed a breakfast mobile order. I then get in the car, drive to the location. I go to the counter and they say "we don't have your order it's 3 mins past the breakfast serve time". Even though I placed and payed for the order before breakfast was over. They just kept repeating "that's our policy". Complete lack of customer service, complete lack of independent thinking on their part. Never returning to this location 100% based on the employees lack of customer service and ability to problem solve. read more

While on a work trip in Phoenix, I was stoked to find this spot right next door to my temporary office. True to their reputation, the service was incredibly fast and efficient. Someone was outside taking orders well before the speaker, which is always a plus when you're on a tight schedule. The drive-through layout is a little tricky, as it shares a parking lot with other businesses, but once you're in line, it moves smoothly. Every single time I ordered, the food was hot, fresh, and exactly what I asked for. Perfect orders every time! I definitely took advantage of their proximity and visited a few too many times, because they even sent me a free gift on the rewards app! Worst service ever. Placed an online mobile for two meals, and was sent to number four parking spot under Brittany. Have been waiting in that spot for over 5 minutes while everyone else that got sent to the other numbered parking spots got their meals first with very little to no wait time at all. Have asked the lasy employee with a pony-tail about our meals under Brittany and she have a smug smile saying 'they're still working on it.' Two easy meals. That takes over 5 minutes to make? Friends, As a frequent customer of eating establishments, I recognize good food and good customer service. I have lived in this area since 2007. I was super excited when this Chick-Fil-A was built. For many years, the food and customer experience was really good. For about the past year, I have noticed a drastic decline in food quality, drive-through inefficiency, delay in getting food, food errors, and overall bad customer service: I have had an opportunity to escalate these concerns to Chris, the store operator, with zero resolution or acknowledgement. Actually, it was inversely the opposite, I was addressed with a dismissive and confrontational attitude. Because of this, I am taking my business to the 7th and Roosevelt location, where the service and food is exceptionally better. While this is outside of my market, I'd rather make the drive and get better food, better customer experience, and overall friendlier people. I feel like nobody at the 16th street location is listening, and they are purely concerned with throwing product out the drive-through window or counter, often causing mistakes. I have, on multiple occasion been "parked" and substantial time later, been brought my food, which was the wrong order. Again, I advise NOT to park and wait in drive-through to get your food, and then check that it's right. This is wasteful, both in food product and in my time. It's impossible to get anywhere with Chris and his leadership team, it's like my feedback is landing on deaf ears. No more 16th street Chick-Fil-A for me. It was around 10pm on Jan 29, I was doing uber. I had an order for Brianna here at chic fil a. Pulled up and everything was closed so I went towards the pick up window on the side of the building. While me and 3 other pick up customers were waiting for the longest. The managers in black( a guy and and 2 girls) weren't attending us at all. They were out on the dinning room recording and dancing to tik toks. I normally wouldn't write a review but they had me and 3 other people waiting to get attended. This is disappointing because uber sent out a report which said that I took to long on the order. This was all due to the lack of service here at this chic fil a. I'm literally here in the parking lot, now. While sitting in the drive thru, I watched one of the employees prepare the drinks. For one, I didn't appreciate how she was pulling the cups out of the dispenser and holding them by putting her fingers INSIDE of the cups instead of AROUND the outside. After what I'm about to say next, I'm almost positive her hands are dirty. For two, she had the audacity to drop a cup and put it back into the cup dispenser RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY FACE AND HER COWORKER?!?! Her coworker said absolutely NOTHING! I had to speak up, and thank goodness I did because it was only then that she took the cup out of the dispenser and put it aside. I didn't want her to use the cup after I drove off, so I asked for a manager. The manager, Elisia, happened to be standing nearby and said she'd make sure the cup wasn't used. I love this chick fil a! But, this was the first time that I ordered ahead of time for pick up. When I went in there for pick up, there were six people ahead of me...no problem...wrong... all six of us stood in that line for more than 20 minutes without anyone even acknowledging us. Finally 1 person came out and shouted out 1 name...we were again waiting ( five of us) with no one to tell us if our order was ready or not for another 20 minutes! we actually watched the regular order line go through 3 rounds as we stood there with no one to tell us if our order was ready or not...very very frustrating...finally the person who was waiting on the regular order line saw we were being ignored by everyone else, came over to ask us all what our orders were and she would check to see what our order status was...she did this while still waiting on people in the regular order line! (Kudos to Christine!) she even acknowledged that it looked like we had been waiting for a long time and between waiting on the regular line she would go back each time and check on our orders..while all the other employee there chose to ignore us...my advice: go through the drive through or the regular line..don't use the pick up line...at least at this time (around 12 noon Saturday). I am sure that the others around me would give Christine a five star review for her service and recognition that we were being ignored, and decided to help us on the pick up line while she continued to wait on the regular ordering line. I've previously have always had good experiences here. Not tonight! I did a curbside pick up and ordered a cup of coffee with 4 creamers. They only gave me 2 making my cup of coffee extremely difficult to drink. Also, the $8+ wrap I ordered was small, not what I had expected for an $8 wrap. I would have been better off ordering the $10+ salad. I also just discovered they didn't give me the Southwest dressing to go with my wrap!!! The drive thru line is packed any time of day so be prepared to wait up to 40 minutes in line. I would definitely recommend to order ahead and pick up in store rather than waiting for drive thru. They used to have a great customer service and nice food back from today, sadly now days it has changed drastically. I do curbside pick up from this location about once a week and I would say their success rate is about 40% There is always something incorrect with the order, usually it's just incorrect or missing sauces. I eat here a lot so I have a stash at home so that is not the end of the world. I've had my food prepared incorrectly a few times and also completely missing food items which is a bigger bummer. But TODAY I placed my regular order and was really looking forward to my unsweetened tea. It was a hot summer day and I was very thirsty so I was prepared to chug it. To my disappointment the store gave me sweet tea and I almost threw up. I immediately got flashbacks to waking up in the middle of the night after an evening of festivities to chug the water bottle that's next to me only to realize it's vodka...... Any who this one really hit home today and inspired me to leave a review because I was very thirsty and really wanted my tea.
