We came here after having a problem at another restaurant. This canes like basically all fast type restaurants right now in our area are drive thru only. I had originally been reluctant to try here because I heard about the limited menu but came here on a recommendation of a friend. She was right the chicken tenders were delicious. The service was excellent especially for drive thru. The cane sauce on my tender Sammy was unique tasting. I loved the small coleslaw. Might get two next time. The fries were ok. The sandwich was the star of the show. The only disappointment I had w the Sammy is the sauce made the bottom bun soggy. That might have been caused by the tray though. The coleslaw was about .80. I was just driving around the area and saw that there's a raising cane's here. They are currently building one in my city, so I thought it would be a great opportunity to try the food. For early lunch time (5pm), it had a pretty busy drive-through line. Menu is on the small/simple side, but that's totally okay! I ordered the box combo, which comes with 4-chicken fingers, crinkle cut fries, coleslaw, toast, drink & 1 cane's sauce. Fastest Raising Cane's we've ever been to! 2 minutes from ordering (no line!), to getting our food. Yeah! Just waited in line for 30 min for Dunkin Donuts, to be told they were out of donuts, so this was a wonderful surprise! Simple menu-- fried chicken fingers or a chicken sandwich, fries and drinks. We prefer Chick-fil-A fries better and their menu variety. But it's nice to have this option, especially since we don't have it in our home town. Very very disappointed. I bought chicken yesterday with hair embedded into the chicken. I called it in. They have me written down regarding the complaint. I bring in the chicken with the hair embedded in it and my receipt which is the only thing they told me to bring in and they claim they will not refund me my money without the actual card. That I should have done that yesterday. I live 30 minutes away. They won't me to come back. I will come back with my card but it will be the last time I ever eat here. Nothing but praise headed their way on my end. This food was a-ma-ZING! I thought all they hype was just... hype... but it's not. The chicken here truly is that juicy and good and the Cane's sauce honestly is as delicious as they say. The coleslaw was creamy and fresh. The fries were plentiful and huge. The service is always very quick, but you'll never know if you'll get fresh hot fries or the ones that have been sitting out for a while. The chicken and sauce is what's important though and that's always on point. They never run out of sweet tea either so that's a plus. read more

Their 'canes' sauce is a lousiana remoulade (with ketchup in it), that has an entire container of black pepper dumped into it, nothing fancy, nothing good. My love of Cane's is part nostalgia (my first meal in Baton Rouge the orientation summer before I started college) and part food related. No, the chicken isn't much different than anywhere else (it used to be MUCH better, promise). The Texas Toast is awesome - whatever bread they're using is ideal - I want to make French toast with it. So what keeps me coming back? Of course! The sauce! I'm a sauce fiend - I'd dip food in motor oil if I couldn't find anything else. Cane's sauce is truly awesome - the prefect accompaniment to the rest of the plate (I laugh every time I get take out and they ask if I want ketchup). EVERYTHING goes in the sauce, kids. ALL OF IT. If I drive through I'll even get a 21oz cup of sauce (much to the wife's dismay) and eat it on frozen fries and chicken. I ordered the three piece combine for high price point of $7. Im not the biggest eater but i had to ask for another piece of chicken from someone else at the table because there was just so little on my plate, from that charges more than a restaurant. If you really want to try it, or the cheddars next door is closed or busy, then you can go ahead but you wouldn't be losing much by going somewhere else. It's not Zaxbys by a long shot! Service was good and the interior decor was nice but don't come to the south where Zaxbys rules. Got the 3 piece combo but unlike Zaxbys you don't get cole slaw. You have to order the 4 piece meal which gives you 2 pieces of their bread to get the slaw. Very disappointing to say the least.
